I think the Wii, is one of the most fun systems out there. I think many will agree that the gameplay is the most awesome. The motion sensing system is just so fun:lmao

I think everyone is anticipating Smash Bros., Metroid 3, Super Mario Galaxy and probably others.

I remember the wii being the most difficult system to find, and took me a while to find it but it was well worth it.

I just got a wii for my birthday and I love it so much!!!!.It came with the sports and spiderman three. I love playing the sports and spidey is okay but hard until you get the hang of web swinging XD. I bought Pirates at worlds end today and its so much fun to play!!!I love sword fighting! I really want to get the bleach game now but need a Japaneses game converter thing...I have no idea seriously><.

I think Ill just get the japanese version of the bleach game...cant stand the English voice actors><. Thats if it is them anyways I have no idea XD. Plus I doubt the North American one will play on my OZ wii anyways><.

I plan to get one when Mario Kart comes out supposedly in 2008. I love that franchise. I have three reasons to get a Wii now Zelda, Mario Kart, and that Bleach game you guys are talking about.

Dragon Quest Swords sold about 305k in Japan in its first week. That's very good sales, better than most other Dragon Quest games. I hope this convinces Square-Enix to put more games on the Wii (Dragon Quest X, maybe).

Anyway, Super Mario Galaxy and No More Heroes are the two games I'm looking out for. Too bad NMH won't hit Europe until 2008...

Hmm, this sounds interesting. Tales of Symphonia: Knight of Ratatosk announced for the Wii. It apparently takes place 2 years after the events of ToS. Matt from IGN was right!

It freezes? That's odd. The controls for Wii Boxing aren't always that responsive, but it shouldn't freeze or anything. Do all the other Wii Sports games work alright?

Yeh all the others work fine. I have only been able to complete one game of boxing without it freezing. I thought it could be a common bug but if not I am going to maybe take my wii in to be looked at because its new and shouldn't do that.

Hmm, yeah, I suggest taking your Wii back to the store or something. It's strange it'd only happen with Wii boxing though.

I don't know much about this matter but if it only freezes up when you're playing Wii Boxing, perhaps the game is at fault, and not the console itself?

Yeah Juunana you should get your wii looked at, I don't have any problems with my wii boxing and it freezing.

I want a Prince of Tennis game for the wii lol, that would be awesome.

FINALLY! A Wii thread...<3 Just got mine yesterday...can't stop cuddling it :p So...pretty... And so SIMPLE to use. You don't know how great that is for me...technology likes to malfunction with me... ;_;

Noob wii owner question if anyone can help me out. How long does it normally take for your remote to need charging again? Mine seems to charge for ever and only last about an hour ><. Is that normal?

Wow, wow, wow. According to a tip off at Wiiz, Capcom (presumably at the E for All Expo currently being held at the Convention Center in Los Angeles) has reportedly announced that the fantastic Okami has been announced for the Nintendo Wii.

In Okami, players assume the role of the wolf-embodied sun god Amaterasu to set the world straight after the legendary monster Orochi has come back to life and turned it into a wasteland. The action-adventure title was originally released for the Sony PlayStation 2 last year to great a great critical reception, so perhaps the firm’s decision to bring it to Wii will be more fruitful.

One thing we do know is that the “Celestial Brush,” essential to ‘drawing’ strokes to complete puzzles and progress, would suit the Wii’s motion sensitive controls down to the ground.

There’s no official word yet, so we’ll bring you more information when we get it.

Woah this thread really died guess am a late Wii person. I just got one today but i only have sports am probably going to get some new stuff for it soon tis a pretty nifty console am liking it. Not got a clue what games to get i will have to do the aimlessly walk and spend 3 hours ina game store for a game >.<. Am so useless.

Anyone else had a noob moment with the Wii. I have had a few and i haven't even started:

1. I had no clue it came with a sensory thing i thought it was built in with the Wii and like a noob i looked at the stick before deciding the look in the manual.

2. I pressed the eject button for 20 minutes before realising you feed the game to the Wii.

3. I stared at the nunchuck for ages til i played boxing and realised its for two handed games XD.

Been looking at a few games but only some that come out in late February and June catch my eye so waiting game sounds fun. I would have looked before but i had no idea i was getting the Wii so i guess this is like an on the spot game store hawd at some point.

I was thinking of Zelda actually since i have the DS game and it is completely amazing and using the DS to its fullest i was probably betting since Nintendo basically own that game it would use all the functions too and would be pretty amazing. Though people have been critical of it saying as its not good as the original or something but am unaware of that so i guess it would be good for me.

Ah yes the Bleach game i guess i'll have to get that when it comes out now i own a Wii. xDDD.

Trying to figure out the online but like what games are online yet? I seem to look and i find like no games that are Wi-fi compatible or whatever it is. Since i have a wireless connection i think using it to my advantage for gaming might be a wise idea.

DBZ Budokai tenkaichi 3 is online. Medal of Honor: Heroes 2 is online. Trauma Center: New blood isn't online, but it has fun local co-op. Well, Trauma Center: New Blood has stat-tracking(keeping high scores). Super Mario Galaxy is definitely recommended. Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles is a good game if you're a fan of Resident Evil games. Legend Of Zelda : Twilight Princess is also recommended. I'd also recommend some of the virtual console games I've bought, but the list is too huge. I've spent over $125 on VC games alone. As far as classic Zelda, you can't go wrong purchasing Legend of Zelda: A link to the past which is my favorite Legend of Zelda game.

I'm not too into the new Trauma Center as much as I was into the last one. I wanted more voice acting instead of lame catch phrases. I get that, and I hate it.

The Bleach game is ridiculously easy, and I'm a little bored with it now that all I have left to unlock is the uniforms and that takes forever (expect Renji's, I think). It's still fun just because of the cracky fights that can happen like Hanatarou v Kenpachi.

I love Elebits. It's a launch title, so the controls are a little wonky. Metroid Prime 3 has the same system and perfected it. It has a Katamari-like element of chaos because you're throwing things around and by the end all the contents of the room are all over the place. If you can get past a game being stupid cute, I'd give it a shot (read: rent it).

Zack and Wiki is pretty damn fun. Great art style. It has lots of charm and the puzzles are very clever.

Also, don't forget the Action Game of the Year: NO MORE HEROES.

I haven't played a Wii game in a long time now. My last game was Umbrella Chronicles. I'm planning on getting Super Mario Galaxy very soon. The only games I really really really want are Zelda, Mario, and Super Smash Bros. I don't have too much interest in the others.

I also need to check up on the VC. The only games I bought were Ocarina of Time and Star Fox 64. I was hoping they'd have Majora's Mask by now. :noworry

Zelda's quite good have had a go lot of missions and fiddly bits to do but it seems like it will be a great game once its into it. I also got Metorid prime (there wasn't a lot of choice at my game store to my amazement still giving XBOX 360 and PS2 there undivided attention >.<) which is an alright game just fiddly sometimes but you get the hang of it after a while so thats been a good buy so far. So am pleased so far. I was looking at Mario games but i never seem to get into mario games i like play them and get bored because am useless at them so yeah i'll pass unless someone tells me its uber easy XD.

Is it any good the REUC because i don't mind a bit of RE but i always die in them so am always really turned away from them. I wouldn't mind getting RE4 as well but heh.

Yeah that trauma centres not that good I had a go at a guys on the DS at college and it was so blooming stupid and difficult.

Still behind you in games some stuff isn't even out yet i've seen mentioned so I will have to sit by and wait as always *sigh*

Super Mario Galaxy is amazing, you really should try it. It's really one of the best games ever, IMO. Perfect game design. It's not that hard either and you get lots of 1ups.

Between RE:UC and RE4, I'd get RE4. The controls for RE4Wii are very, very good. Definitely superior to the normal analog controls. It's a great game, and not too hard on the Easy setting. RE:UC is nothing special if you're not a big Resident Evil fan.

And I'll reccommend it again: ZACK AND WIKI + NO MORE HEROES. BUY THEM NOW. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT.

Thanks for that. Am just not into "Classic" Mario as it were because eventually i get to this bit and just get stuck on it for like forever and then i resent the game so if its easy with good gameplay I am there to be honest.

I shall look into a few of those once have bet the two i have at the moment despite today nearly wanting to blow them up and having to surrender to darn game guide for one which i hate doing i am finally past that xD.
