the Profusion of Blooming Crimson Flowers : would similarly equate something along the lines of "senbonzakura kageyoshi": vibrant display of a thousand cherry blossoms (i remember this from somewhere).

Given the decent pacing this has seen so far, it looks as though they planned this one out a LOT better than the bounto arc.

Just finished watching this episode. Actually it wasn't that bad as some said, just that Kenryu's shikai looks quite dumb, even Rukia and Ichigo are weirded out by its shape and abilities (except Rurichiyo, Enryu and Orihime). I guess his shikai is used for comedic relief. :D

Btw the assassin's zanpakuto that creats solidified walls out of wind slashes looks better, plus last week's episode of using reflections from the moon to temporarily daze and blind opponents.

Music this time was nice; they used a fight track from the second movie OST (which is pretty sweet). I also liked that they *finally* changed the eyecatch screen (unless they changed it earlier and I missed it). The old one was in use since Bounto or something. I like the watercolor effect on this new one.

The shikai was horrible, but it's clearly meant to be tacky, so it's good in the sense that it fulfilled its purpose. I like how the filler writers finally had Ichigo remember that he can use Getsuga Tenshous and Rukia her kidou. :)

Yep, the "we" is a mark of nobility, I believe it's a term that isn't just related to Japan but also to China as well. I believe it comes from the idea of the Emperor being a God, but I'm not that sure on that.

Overall the fillers are fun, they're light, but they're fun, this one had some nice general fun with Rukia and the princess, interesting to see Rukia actually teaching someone else about the wonders of the real world.

The now infamous shikai is truly stupid, even if it's meant for comedic effect, I mean why would someone so weak be a shinigami?

I'm still not understanding the people's hate of these fillers, they're fun, they aren't supposed to blow you out of the water, they're meant to be lighthearted and fun, which they are. Personally I actually thought the action was pretty good, that weird spear like thing was a pretty good Idea I thought.

In the last epi the classmates said that it's like a mediaval role-play or whetever... So the DB team didn't make it wrong, that's how Lurichiyo talks about herself

Well that has to be one of THE worst...if not the worst Shikai's I have ever seen. Thats a result of pure lazyness on that part of the animators tbh.

Other than that I am strangely enjoying this filler arc. Its not to serious...just a bit of light hearted fun. And I am still loving the ending song. :)

It's so retarded it was awesome. If that makes any sense at all. I really like Kenryuu... Enryuu, too, but mostly because he's mute. I have a feeling he'd be annoying if he spoke. Although it makes me wonder just how he's going to release his zanpakutou... with his gestures? Maybe Kenryuu will speak for him... :x

About time I actually liked a filler character. The Bount had little personality, but these guys are fresh. Ah, and I liked the design of reflecto sword ninja from the previous epsiode, so I'm glad to see him again. Just as long as he ditches the reflecto sword and keeps that big wall-making bio halberd thing-a-ma-bob.

I really don't understand all the hate on Kenryuu's Zanpaktou. Does it suck? Yes, but if he had a really awesome release that was realy strong, they wouldn't need Ichigo. I think that was the point. Shows that, while he can release his sword and I guess fight, he's pretty well worthless when he does. It explains why they need the help.

My first thought was actually with Shdo. They didn't strike me as zanpakuto, but just weapons. Clan weapons or something.

Kenryuu's zanpakuto is just a new level comic relief weapon. Bleach doesn't have too many of these, nor does bleach need them. I think that is why people are reacting like this. But like I said earlier, not everyone can get a zenbonsakura or a hyourinmaru.

it shouldnt be a massive powerful zanpaktou, not everyone should have a massive shikai that can beat everything by hax...but no one should have flowers growing from the blade...couldnt he get some generic power? something simple and not flowers that grow on the enemy weapon? i mean why does it have to be either amazing or amazingly suck?

I would have preferred a generic release with generic attacks as he generically fails and needs to be saved. But rather go that route, they decided to pretty much null the situation altogether and give him that release. Instead of saying, "you fail and have a pitiful weapon" they said, "you fail but that's ok because your weapon is LOL horrible." Easier on the character.

Plus, with this arc they're clearly not trying to be horribly generic, as they did with the bounto arc.

It's obviously there for comic relief guys, no need to freak out over how bad it is. Even Ichigo and Rukia comment. XD.

You know, I actually didn't dislike this episode. Kenryu's release made me giggle (althought I'm a little disappointed, I liked his character), Rukia and Inoue being sweet towards Lurichyo, etc. (I also leave the carrots on the plate... damn... now I feel pity of the farmers <.<)

Tbh, I think that Kenryo will have another form of his weapon. Like, his zanpaktou power is PURE "let's flee!! Run to the hills". Which fits what he has been doing till now: run, flee, escape.

However, when it comes the time to fight, I think that his zanpaktou will have a diffrent shape, or power, or something around those lines. Althought he is filler, he's one of the main characters in this arc, he can't be stupidly weak.

I liked the wall thing weapon. I think it was quite creative (and I don't think they are zanpaktous). I'm glad to see the other dude picked it, and to be honest, I hope it gets used again.

Guys guys guys, think about it. Kenryuu has one of the best zanpaktous abilities I have seen. It nullifies the use of that it covers. So he could prevent the release of any shinigami/arrancar. But yeah it is kinda crappy >_>

@ rayne_himura: From a scanlation of the Color Bleach omake that this Shinigami's Illustrated was based on, I remember that Ukitake's design had a medicine holder and something to store a little water to take medicine with. Other than that I can't remember what he had with it.
