The story takes place in a fictional country called Jushin. In Jushin once lived secret agents hand picked and sent by the emperor himself. They were responsible for maintaining piece throughout the empire, rooting out corruption and arresting criminals and individuals that would disrupt the harmony of the kingdom. They were legendary among the folk who saw them as their protectors and saviors.
At the start of the series, Jushin has been destroyed, and corruption and tyranny are widespread. The story follows one of the few remaining Angyo Onshi, named Munsho who travels the land, fighting the corrupted lords.
Although SAO seems episodic in nature, the more the story progresses the more you realize that Munsu isn't randomly roaming the land, but is searching someone named Aji Tae, whom he finds responsible for destruction of Jushin.
This is the manga (well..manwha) that replaced Berserk as my favorite. There is not a single aspect of it I dislike, although I'm a person that is very hard to please when it comes to manga/anime.
The story is truly epic (up there with Berserk) the art is more then great and the characters...
Munsu, the main character is an anti-hero that believes means justify the end. He is sometimes cruel and cold, extremely arrogant and very hard to deal with. He has a deeply wounded and crippled personality, caused by the destruction of Jushin, something I don't want to spoil if anyone decides to start reading.
Aji Tae, the main antagonist, has an incredible charisma, unrivaled power and the manipulative skills that would make Aizen look like a incompetent prankster. He also has a deeper personality then any other antagonist I have seen so far, in any manga, except for Griffith from Berserk.
There are tons of great characters, almost every one of them has great development, unique personality and at least one unique trait.
The story is often tragic, sometimes funny but it never lacks grandeur or depth. I can't write anything else without spoiling.

This is currently the only one group scanlating (as far as I know) this manwha
(the authors are Korean). They were pretty regular up till now.
The manwha has 17 volumes in total...so far 13 volumes and a part of volume 14 have been scanlated.
I hope there are some SAO fans on this forum ^_______^
