Does anyone know when or if Viz media will release a box set of the second season? I don't want to pay 20 bucks for a 4 episode dvd when I can pay 30 for the box set.

Well, Season One was only $35 at Wal-Mart. <3

Which is pretty sad, considering that Best Buy and Barnes and Noble had it for like...$90. >.>

You can find them pretty cheat nowadays. Especially with the internet as another source. DVD's are getting old fast, so going to be time to upgrade.

I REFUSE to upgrade. DVDS will last my lifetime, why the heck should I? There's nothing wrong with the DVD format. I swear they invent these new tenchologies just to get people to waste more money. You just buy something and a month later its obscelete. I've already spent enough on a big anime dvd collection, I'm not going to rebuy them on another format. Plus those HD tvs hurt my eyes terribly. after 30 mins of watching anything I get a headache.

I'm only 26, I'm too young to be acting like a bitter old lady. ARG.

I don't think you've found the right kind of HD tv then. Or maybe you just watch them wrong idk. lol. What I do know, is that the quality of blueray is undeniably 10 times better then what DVD's can put out. Hell, most of the video files on my own computer are better then DVD quality. The standard has been taken up. Even novices can do a good job.

Every single one in the store hurts my eyes, as well as anyone who has them in their house. How can you watch a tv wrong (other than sitting too close? and I wasn't). I don't see a quality difference either. DVD looks just perfect to me. It must be the younger generation. Just like videogames like Super Smash Brothers that move at super-quick speeds with a hundreds colors and things mixed on the screen are impossible for me to follow.

I did upgrade from all my vhs tapes to DVD in 2000 and got rid of the VCR. Tapes did have bad quality and after a few years the tape breaks down and is worthless, that's a good reason to upgrade, but DVDs can last up to 100 years. I'm not planning on living past 126, heh.

Not to mention how expensive all those HD tvs and blueray players are, and converting my entire dvd collection would be... I barely scrape by on the job I have now.

whats bad is that it isn't really like blueray is the next generation of video technology:p given their expense, internet downloads are the next thing (hell its already happening) once that becomes regulated to some extent then DVD's will got the way of beta:rofl

but wow, this is pretty offtopic, no:lmao

so its coming out in August:facepalm, it bugs me that they only release each DVD every other month. I remember the days of DBZ where they released 2 a month:p

Walmart sells all Box sets of animes cheaper than anyone else. I guess its a little known secret amongst anime collectors. I go evey few months to buy the uncut/original versions of DBZ. I only pay $20 for the entire series instead of the $80 it cost elsewhere. How they undercut everyone else I dont know.
