For 100 years, the Espada were just a title, passed from one arrancar to the other by the means of murder and power play. There were no goal, no connection between the various arrancars besides a common instinct for killing one another. Out of rank, violence hunger, or simply fun.

Repeated murders, betrayals and treason, the title Espada carries only a mere fraction of the honor it used to carry, being reduced to nothing more than elegant assasins.

But today it changes, today for the first time in 100 years the Espada are called upon for a meeting. From the intelectual, to the simply savage one, everyone's interest focus on a single thing at the moment. For once, in a hundred years, the Espada can be called a team once more.

One by one, their steps can be heard as they near the meeting hall -

There was a slight echo of silence, like a wind that never blew, it was impossible but still, someone, somewhere, still exsisted. The white halls, covered in dust, they mirrored the old days, of noble Espada, of 100 years past, of fallen respect. These halls of Las Noches, like a dream drowned in white darkness. Ivy trotted through the rubble, through the dust, she made her way down a long hall which led to a room, THE room. Ivy had proven herself, among the other few who inflicted the title of espada upon themselves. Now she was on of them, she was to gather with them and meet. Ivy made her way to the meeting, with the intent to measure them, asses them and perhaps find a few allies, she would need them it seems, the days of the savage beasts called Arracar were over, the Espada would rule this day and many more to come.

Ivy stopped near the door way of the room, she peered inside, nothing but darkness to the eye, she turned her head to look over her shoulder, expecting the unexpected. Ivy turned her head back, focusing on the darkness of the room, she walked foward into the room, into the shadows. She looked around as she stood in the center of the room, as if the darkness was light, as if she could see clearly, and she focused on the corner, her eyes narrowed.
The dust cleared and the light of the outside splashed in, the corner of the ceiling caved in my several thick vines grown from large seeds leeched onto the wall. In the center of the room was a long table with ten chairs, lined up as if they had been from 100 years ago, Ivy took a seat, leaned back into her chair and waited.......

Small slimy steps broke the silence of the espada hall, a small figure appeared from one of the staircases. It was a short fat Arrancar that stepped down the stairs with some effort.
Without saying a word the little Arrancar approached the table and took the sit in front of the red hair female.

"I am kayder, the…err…" he looked into the palm of his hand, "6th! 6th espada," he presented the palm to the red hair female, there was a smirched 6 on it, clearly a fake tattoo.

Inside the walls, Ja'eq listened to his idiotic friccon, "kayder…you useless piece of fluid sack," he thought to himself, "why did you put the fake tattoo on your sweaty palm? Expect punishment."

"I am kayder, I am strong, I am 6th," the fat Arrancar stared at the red hair
espada, "you are pretty."

"Do I have to go?" There was just the trace of a whine in the question. The creature that had asked it flicked dark hair out of his eyes and pouted at his two subordinates.

The male one simply grunted in what could have been sympathy. The female one, Sisko, sighed and rubbed her forehead. He'd been asking the same question all the way to Las Noches, and her answer hadn't changed "Yes sir, as the Eighth Espada you have to attend a meeting of the Espada."

He glared at her like it was her fault "It wasn't my idea. How was I supposed to know that idiot was an espada? He sure didn't die like one. You even wanted me to get the tattoo..."

Sisko sighed again, "Sorry sir." She was used to this, being the fraccion of Durante Dormire was less like an underling and more like a glorified babysitter. For someone who appeared to be an attractive young man in his mid-twenties, he spent a lot of time acting like a petulant child.

They stopped outside the door of the meeting hall and he turned to her "What if they don't like me?"

She smiled "Of course they'll like you, how could they not?"

"You'll wait out here with Otso right?" The third member of their party blinked at the use of his name and grunted agreement. Sisko nodded "We'll be right here, don't worry."

Durante sighed, defeated "Fine I'll go. How do I look?"

Sisko gave him a gentle push "Like the eighth Espada, sir, now hurry up."

The door opened with a creak, as though it hadn't been used in years. The movement sent clouds of dust spiralling through the room, and all over Durante's white clothing, which just made his mood worse. He wandered towards the table and chose a seat halfway down, not wanting to draw any attention to himself by being too close or too far away from the speaker. The only other espada at the table was a beautiful female, with bright red hair dressed rather provocatively. He was tempted to start up a conversation, however with seven of the espada ranked higher than him, compared to two of lesser rank, chances were she could crush him with her pinky. He settled for nodding at her respectfully as he sat.

It was a second before he noticed the room's third inhabitant, a distinctly odd looking creature. He raised an eyebrow as he saw the six on its palm. Maybe he was in the wrong room, surely something as ugly as this couldn't be ranked higher than him...

Gentle footsteps paced the hallways as the lengthy black strands of Juliane Morquidas hair followed. Ambulating back and forth, the mystifying elegance in a white Arrancar uniform most resembling a kimono desperately pleaded to an illusive entity saying, "Please, just this once let him be where he is supposed to be!", and In spite of her nervous gestures she was seemingly less calm than she was exhibiting. Suddenly a thunderous quake emerged from the tension. The excitable Juliane was stunned to witness the earth beneath her quiver like a guilty thief with a knife at his throat, and sadly she knew that spectacle all too well. He slithered, he stomped, gasping as he raced towards the unsuspecting Juliane in all his mammoth glory. Enter the humble goliath standing 25 feet towards the ceiling, Patrota. The "Gigantor" of Arrancar was shaped in the form of a man but stood like a statue that had been spooked by its own shadow. The Frantic beast clung to what little he could grasp of the Arrancar femme fatale. Surely he was adorned by her beauty uncanny, however she was more concerned on the whereabouts of a certain someone.

"Juli! Juli! You are so Wonderful----Adumf!" Patrota declared as he brought his lips to kiss her.

"You Big 'Idiot'!!" Juliane Exclaimed as she met Patrota's face halfway, the devastating blow embedding his head into the wall's interior.

"Shame 'ol Judi-Shama..."

"Enough games," Julian remarked, brushing any remains of "fool" from her uniform, "have you located Altoro-sama?"

Perfectly pressed against the walls of the meeting compound, a bashful youth glared hypnotically into a silvery sword he held only inches from his eyes. Shadows of his past began to manifest, inflicting and torturing, he could only endure what was painfully etched in blood. The very day he would walk through those doors as in espada marked the turn of a revolution. The cessation of bloodshed was close at hand, and his ideals were absolute. Nothing could halt the circumvolution of peace with he as its harbinger. The role of an Espada, a position he was skeptical about at first, now he saw as a golden opporitunity, he will challenge all odds and fight to the last breath, but as he forces the doors open and steps into the room, he spotted non-chalant faces peering at him indifferently.

"Hello, I am Altoro Delgado-----9th Espada"

A young arrancar was waiting outside of the Espada meeting room, silently reading a book. As she was reading the sounds of footsteps approached her ears and then another sound, it sounded like an imitation of a engine.

VROOOOOM! Suddenly something, or someone, came racing down the hall at an incredible speed, leaving dust behind it. A loud screeching noise could be heard as it tried to stop, it went right past the arrancar and a crashed into the wall, breaking a hole through it. Suddenly someone jumped out through the hole giving the thumbs up sign to the other arrancar. If you had seen it through the arrancar's eyes you would have felt you were looking into a mirror, the arrancar that came out of the dust looked exactly like her.

"How'd ya like that, pretty cool huh?"

The other arrancar sighed and closed her book, "You should have been here approximately an hour ago, I have been waiting, Lala."

Her voice was calm and controlled unlike the other who was practically screaming with enthusiasm. The arrancar known as Lala let out a small laugh and put her hand down, near her hip where the number 5 was tattooed, she skipped past her twin sister and kicked open the doors to the meeting room.

"You need to loosen up Lulu, besides now we're waiting on you."

As she entered she saw 3 other arrancar, which she assumed to be espada as well, one red head, a fat, ugly one, and a young man all at the meeting table. Then Lulu walked in quickly analyzing all the espada before them. She mentally spoke to her sister,

"The red-haired one is the strongest one here, hold on..."

She had picked up someone's reiatsu, it was lurking in the walls, "it seems there is a stronger one in the walls."

Her sister didn't really care, she picked out a seat and slouched as she sat, putting her feet on top of the table one over the other and both her hands behind her head as a cushion. Lulu walked over and sat next to her sister, the huge chair having enough space for the both of them, she clasped her hands together and placed them neatly in her lap. She waited patiently for the other espada to arrive, unlike her sister who was already bored and wanted to leave.

"You are really pretty, do you like short ones," Kayder continued to harass people but the final straw was when the twin girls entered and after a few seconds of silence from Kayder side, which Ja'eq hoped to stay, he talked again, "I am six! I am highest!" Ja'eq was filled with rage, he hated stupidity and in this specific moment it was really out of place. As his rage grew so did his reitsu fluctuations, he couldn’t hide anymore, nor he planned to with Kayder pathetic attempt to disguise himself as the sixth.
"6th is hig…" a shining white hand sprouted from the table and grabbed Kayder face, and then pulled him down through it, yet somehow there was no visible damage on the table, it was as if the short espada was simply pulled into the table. After a few seconds Ja'eq raised himself from the chair, he was released and moved through solid objects like they were air. He sat down and raised his hand, smock and light filled the spot he sat on and when it dispersed he was in his sealed form again.

"Excuse my friccon, its clear he have even less intelligence then I have hoped. He will be dealt with," he raised his palm, revealing a tattoo with the number 6, " Ja'eq, of the mist section of the Menos forest, the 6th Espada. i Apologize for the deception, I had to check if this is the real thing and not a trap, it's not the first time I was called for a so called espada meeting."

Durante sighed, the whole business was just too much effort as far as he was concerned.

His eyes had narrowed upon the entrance of the ninth espada, for some reason he looked strangely similar to Durante, a fact the eight espada disliked immensely. He mumbled a reply to the greeting, wondering why the man was so confident in a room full of people who could slaughter him as easy as breathing.

The matching pair of girls caught Durante's interest briefly, he liked matching things as anyone could tell from his fraccions, and the lively one looked like she'd be fun to have around. The sour faced one would suit Suvi, he thought gloomily, reminded of the third of his fraccions who'd chosen to make her own way to Las Noches. She'd gotten angry with him when he'd tried to get out of the meeting, and eventually Sisko had been forced to separate the two of them. His fraccion were never any fun.

He had been trying to catch the attention of the lively blonde twin, when the true sixth espada launched himself out of the table. It was this event that convinced Durante that he was mad to even consider holding a conversation with these people. He slouched back in his chair and pouted at the world in general.

"Well, are we waiting for the other five or are we starting without them? I'd like to get this over with quickly if possible. I mean, feel free to kill me for my insolence, but there are a million more interesting things I could be doing right now."

He glared around with his purple eyes, then realised that none of them had any idea who he was.

"Sorry, I'm Durante Dormire, reluctant Octava Espada, at your service etcetera etcetera."

EDIT: OOC: Shdo, Durante sat in the middle so he wouldn't draw attention to himself.

"well, we are not really starting anything, we don’t even know why we were called here," Ja'eq paused and looked around, judging the other espada, after all who knows when one of them will act like the old 6th. The twin girls looked like a complete opposites, he didn’t had much hope from that direction, the rest seemed at least not dumb, that is good for Ja'eq.
"All I know is that we have here the 9-5 espada and that the truly strong ones have yet to arrive, they also the ones who called us, the question what do they want? A century ago the espada were great but tools at the hands of a shinigami none the less, what would you do if this is the reason you were called for? To serve?" Ja'eq paused again and then quietly said to himself "I killed the 6th because he treated me like tool."

Ivy perked up in her chair, she surveyed the room no longer desolate and silent but buzzing with activity and sound. Six arrancar had entered the room, all of them expected to be Espada, but obviously not. The small fat arrancar disturbed her in a way that was hard to understand, he was so foolish, the speech that left his mouth was babble and sometimes even immposible to understand, what was stoping her from killing such an insolent fool? I a second, or less he emerged from the table switching places with the fool, it seems the probem was fixed, the 6th espada had arrived. A quick introduction of him and the others, she took notice that the only arrancar in the room she was weaker than were this Ja'eq figure, and the two twins, what an odd bunch.

"I do believe that we are here for a particular reason." Ivy said in the direction of the others sitting and standing, "Hueco Mundo has been is chaos, chaos unlike that it has ever seen. Las Noches...." She said signaling to the very room, the very structure they were in, "is a mirror of our world, desolate, and destroyed." Ivy stood up and made her way to the wall away from the table, she paced back and surveyed the rest of the espada, "Who knows were they are, who knows if they were summoned like us, who will ever know?" She said in reference to the higher up espada, it had turned into a waiting game......

As the Espada began to converse Lala took her feet off the table and placed her arms there instead she then slouched forward burrowing her head into her arms, into a position similar to a schoolgirl sleeping at her desk.

Lulu on the other hand wanted to engage in conversation but was too shy and quiet to be heard, no one could hear her say, "Umm we are the Quinta Espada, Lala and Lulu."

The Espada continued to speak about who called them here and why completely unaware that Lulu was trying to speak. She sighed and tapped at Lala's shoulder, no response. She then grabbed Lala by the shoulder and proceeded to shake her, this time she got a mumbled response, "Lulu your on my side of the bed..." Lulu was slightly confused she stood up on her chair and lifted Lala, rather easily with one hand, a pool of drool was left behind on the table.

"LALA!"

Lala was instantly awake, rather alarmed at her sleep being interrupted. All eyes were on them now, a dead silence now filled the hall despite it being alive with conversation just a while ago. Lulu blushed, dropping Lala on the floor, and sunk down into the chair clearly embarrassed. Lala immediately got up and jumped onto the table,

"What are you looking at?!"

Lulu mentally noted Lala that they were talking about why they were here, introducing themselves as they spoke, before she had fallen asleep. Lala nodded as she listened, she then grabbed Lulu bringing her up onto the table next to her, her right arm wrapped around her.

"Okay! Well this is Lulu, my twin sister, and I'm Lala! We are the Quinta Espada."

As she finished, she pointed to her tattoo which clearly located at her hip.

"And why we are here? Well thats obvious..."

The Espada listened intently, curious to know why they were summoned,

"Because we were called here!"

She seemed rather pleased at her statement smiling as she looked at the others, but the other Espada seemed disappointed at her obvious answer.

The boy's eyes wandered inquisitively around the semi-occupied meeting table. Such eccentric creatures; he found it hard to believe either of them could be superior to him in every way, a fact in which he was confident didn't matter at all. However, Altoro couldn't help but glare curiously at the Octava Espada who seemed rather detached, and what interested him the most was thier similar appearance. He knew it meant nothing since it was common most arrancar would look alike whereas personalities differed, an example being the pair of intriguing twins whose poles, north and south, were world's apart. Altoro was not intent on making enemies, especially when his ambitions were to stop the miseries of war, nevertheless he had already attracted mean looks from his superiors. That's okay, God's judgement was all that applied.

From the corner of his eye he peered at the door. A girl most would mistake for a high school sophomore slowly pushed it ajar as she poked her head in carefully. It was Juliane, Altoro's unyeilding right hand fraccion and headache. He pretended not to notice her as he was certain she was aware the meeting room was off limits, but Juliane was a class all her own. In fact, she made it clear to Altoro her mission in life was to annoy the heck out of anyone she encountered-----she had to be stopped. All The same, Altoro was reluctant to stir any unecessary racket for he aimed to make a good first impression, but Juliane was provoking. Juliane browsed the room for her master, the other Espada and Arrancar minding thier own affairs, but as she had located Altoro, Juliane's excitement reached new altitudes and Altoro was gambling the respect of his peers for the actions of one loud mouth knucklehead. Quickly she sprang into action, pouncing as she always had done since the day they met. Where bare breasts collided with bare face, the only set of affection found between mutual friends, but whom she pounce unto was not Altoro. It was Durante, Altoro's look-a-like. A poor, agitated soul whose spite for ignorance was soley expressed by the vein on his forehead. Altoro was certain the bricks were about to hit the fan; faced with an ultimatum he had no other choice but to prepare himself for the worst either way it went. It was too late before Juliane realized the shamed face of her superior sitting seats across from the one whose face her breasts were pressed against, but as she was left dazed and confused, Altoro slapped his hand on his forehead repeating to himself,

"Why me?"

If this was an animated show Ja'eq would turn even whiter and small blue lines would hover above his head, but it’s the real world and Ja'eq was in shock, "this is as bad as Kayder…well…nothing is as bad as Kayder," he thought to himself, how could it be that no matter how much of those idiots he kill they just keep coming? Was Darwin wrong?

Ja'eq shoved his hand to his opposite sleeve and pulled two small pills, he then proceed to loosen a part of his fake mask and swallowed them, all along making sure that no one actually see the whole face beneath the mask. With the pain killers starting to work he will be able to stand the company of this Lala character. Ja'eq rose from his chair and approached the twins chair, they were so small that they could actually sit on the same chair! He approached them from Lulu side and lowered himself so that he would look to Lulu in the eyes with his milky dead eyes, "tell me, Lulu? What do YOU think we are here for? Come on, don’t be shy, you are, after all, at least a part of the 5th espada, and as the highest ranking espada here your opinion is the most important, isn’t it?" to Ja'eq this was a test, to see what the quiet one is made of.

His line of thought was severed when suddenly a little Arrancar girl jumped chest on at the 8th espada and the 9th slapped himself on the forehead, it's clear whose friccon she was. Ja'eq felt sympathy and popped two more pills to himself and two more he slide on the table to the 9th direction. "this is bad as kayder..."

Lulu was shocked at her direct attention,

"Well, I think our current situation calls for authority, Las Noches has fallen from it's former glory, hollows are rampant throughout Hueco Mundo, and the number of arrancar is decimated. Clearly hollows, who have such a low level of intelligence only feeding to survive, are unfit to lead. This leaves us, the arrancar, who have regained some level of human emotion to rule, but primarily the Espada who are the strongest and most capable."

Lala seemed unimpressed at Lulu's more sophisticated answer and quietly mumbled, "I could have told you all that..."

Lulu, being the only one to hear Lala's comment, felt as if she had betrayed her sister. Before they even stepped into the meeting chambers they had agreed Lala would do the talking, but since Lulu was specifically questioned she was forced to answer back.

"But Lala is right, though bluntly put, the reason we are all gathered here at this moment is because the higher Espada have summoned us to assess this situation."

Durante felt something soft make contact with his cheek, and for a second he couldn't work out what it was. He glanced sideways, when he saw what was pressing into him, his eyes widened, for a second he wondered if Sisko had wandered into the meeting, but she wasn't that well equipped, and she'd probably only hug him if he ordered her to. It wasn't an espada female pressed up against him either, the energy trace was too small. It must be someone else's fraccion getting intimately acquainted with the side of his face.

He glanced across the table and somehow his eyes met those of the ninth espada. The other man's expression was one of absolute horror. Durante's mouth twitched, then he gave up and broke out into peals of laughter, much to the shock of the others around the table.

It took him a moment to get himself under control but when he had done he detached the girl, who had been too shocked to move, and turned around, raising one of her hands to his lips.

"Madam, if I'd know that the company would be so delightful I would have been much more enthusiastic about attending today." He gave her his most charming smile and nodded across to the ninth espada "However I think your superior might be regretting his own decision to come. Maybe you should give him a hug too, perhaps it will cheer him up."

Ja'eq returned to his seat, "so the smart 5th and the 7th are idealists, those die quick from their superior ambition…I will not follow that path…" he thought to himself, "the rest don’t seem to really want to be here much like I do and the dumb 5th isn’t important to me anyhow," he would love to stay in his little mansion and play the violin or visit the real world to grab something interesting but the fact is that he was summoned so he should at least do the most of it. Even if he isn’t planning to go to war for the 'hollow unity' such a war would affect him.

"since we are here, there are some things that we could discuss until the higher ones come to dictate our policy…" he leaned on his open hand as if he was bored, "you must have noticed that the hollows become more and more…rude, our standing with them was weakened and we will be in trouble eventually. I am forced to kill trespassers daily. You must have felt that." He then slammed his open palm at the table, "not only this, now we have new neighbors…shinigami. He tried to reign in his enthusiasm, lest it offend the other man. "As far as the hollows go, they've been bothering me as well. I normally just send my underlings to deal with them, but lately they've been getting more aggressive. It's not hard to exterminate them, but it's tiresome to have to do it constantly. Besides, after a while the taste gets boring."

He came to a decision "Alright, if being Espada means that I get to help with the shinigami, and maybe play with them a little, as well as putting those annoying hollows in their place then I shall stop being a reluctant Espada, and try and be a willing one."

He smiled happily, perhaps this meeting was a good thing after all.

Lulu also stood up next to her sister, "Rushing in without first knowing our enemy would be stupid. Ja'eq, do you have any other information on these Shinigami concerning there levels of stength? Shinigami are not foolish enough to enter Hueco Mundo without a capable leader to guide them."

Who could blame them? Still, shinigami had no intent for peace when it came to the hollows. It was clear they were our enemies.

"The question is 'who' or 'what' is thier reason for coming? I wouldn't be surprised if they were planning something big. Just what we need, more destruction in an already tattered world of iniquity," he replied to Ja'eq's statement with a hint of scorn."

"when I found the shinigami I offered that only one of them would come with me, instead to listen to my generous proposal the leader attacked, she had her choice and I respected it when I slaughtered her soldiers, we are all adults after all…" he gave a stare at the 5th espada duel. He smiled

Truthfully Durante liked shinigami, not enough to refrain from killing them of course, but they were interesting in a way that simple hollows were not. Hollows were beings of hunger, they had one thought, one focus, to feed. Shinigami on the other hand, well they had ambition, purposes that often conflicted with one another. They could dream.

"Sorry, but I find it highly unlikely that their purpose is to seek us out. As far as they are concerned, we no longer exist, the name Espada is just a story used to terrify their little shinigami children." "Well, it isn't unheard of that the shinigami try to exterminate a group…Quincy, Bount and others," after he said that in his monotonies voice he tried to present his own tongue to Lala but the mask hid it anyways and therefor it was ignored.

"But I agree with the 8th, they just want to find something…after all if they kill us then they might be out of the job."

Curtis strode into the meeting hall. He was somewhat surprised at the company in attendance. The black void of his cloak moved erratically in a non-existent breeze. As he approached the table, the pieces of his bone like armour rattled. He was certainly in dangerous company, causing Turmoil to become quite agitated. He came to a halt in the light, where he could be clearly visible. He bowed to the group, an action which for someone over 3 metres in height such as himself, was a very long and drawn out process. He raised his head, also a laborious process, and introduced himself. His voice emerged from his helmet like mask much like an echo from inside a cave.

"We are the number 10..... why have we been sss-ummoned...?"

When Durante saw the newest arrival he had to smother his laughter with a cough. "Welcome number ten. Nice armour... We have no idea why we've been summoned, but as Espada One to Four are currently missing, we can only assume they know."

He nodded back at the Ja'eq "Sexta, excuse my impertinence but I think you'll agree we need to send someone to keep an eye on the shinigami. Since we can't exactly leave to go and check up on them, perhaps one of our fraccion? I have one of mine in mind in particular, she's small and seemingly harmless. It wouldn't be hard for her to gain their trust, as the common feature I've seen in most shinigami is their desire to believe in the innocence of young creatures."

"And where will you send them to? I found the shinigami when they entered my place, they don’t have a base or something," Ja'eq started to play with his blade, a short dagger with jagged back, like a saw, "there is no place to search for them period, maybe when we will activate the same system that gave Aizen early warning…but good luck on that, this place is a complete mass…we need more servants to make it running," he then paused and a thought bursted in his mind, "does anyone knows what happened to the Orb of distortion? I wonder if it still exists out there."

Fritz dashed through the halls of Las Noches, his spindly arms wrapped around a bursting basket of laundry. "Lala-samaaa! Lulu-samaaa!"

Where could they be? He still wasn't used to this place. A zillion hallways, rooms of all sizes, traps, secret passages... It was far too much of a headache!

Briefly, Fritz paused and set the basket down, rummaging around for something.

With a grin, he pulled out a corked bottle of sake from within the bundles of clothing. He took out the cap and slurped down several gulps of the wonderful liquid, some of it dribbling down his chin. "Ahhh..."

He wiped off a couple drops with the back of his hand, his face already flushing. Then he corked the bottle again and hid it.

Lifting the laundry basket, he proceeded through the vaulted corridors. Soon, the sound of conversation drifted to his ears. He headed in that direction, and passing through an archway, he found himself...

Standing in front of the Espada. "Ah... Ah... Ah..." Shocked into abject terror, he let the basket fall to the floor. A split second later, his forehead touched the tile beside it as he groveled before the assembled Arrancar. "Sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry!"

Altoro saluted the enormous number 10. The tall, masculine giant in some ways reminded him of Patrota in a more dignified persona, but he found it hard to believe someone of his appearance could pass as the 10th espada.

"I am Altoro Delgado, 9th Espada, it's a pleasure to make your aquainta-"

Suddenly he was cut off by the abrupt entrance of an obtruder. Yet another terrified face to welcome the illgotten party of seven. "Sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry!" The poor spirit pleaded. What further wonders could come from beyond these walls as we await the powerful arrancar ensemble ----the Espada!

Altoro ignored the inturruption as it was clear he wasn't an Espada. Another mild-mannered Fraccion perhaps? The world may never know.

Both amazed and utterly relieved by their lack of reaction to his presence, Fritz tried to make himself as unassuming as he could. He inched his way along the outskirts of the room, towards his mistresses. In his hands, he proudly clutched the basket of laundry.

As he neared the twins, he smiled and raised his cargo. "All done, Lala-sama, Lulu-sama. Fresh as daisies! Do you want me to bring it to your quarters?"

As Fritz came barging into the Espada meeting room Lulu signaled her fraccion to come over. As he approached Lala jumped out of her seat and inspected the laundry, rummaging through the numerous costumes Fritz was occasionally forced to wear, finally finding what she was looking for.

She held up the lower half of her newly washed Arrancar uniform, consisting of no more than underwear. She brought it up to her nose and smelled it,

"You did use the freshener, Summer Breeze, right?"

Suddenly Lulu jumped out of her seat and landed next to her sister,

"No! You said this week you would use Winter Chill!"

The sisters stared at each other, looking to attack one another at any moment, finally Lulu reverted her attention back to Fritz, "There's no point in getting all serious about this, so Fritz which freshener did you use?"

Lala also looked towards Fritz, giving a glare that said 'if you used Winter Chill I'll kill you, "Yeah, which one did you use?"

"And where will you send them to? I found the shinigami when they entered my place, they don’t have a base or something"

Durante resisted the urge to roll his eyes. For all his posturing this guy was a useless scientist. Not only had all of his specimens died before he could experiment on them, but he hadn't even managed to get a location of a base from them, or at least a point of entry where they could set up a watch for other shinigami. That was that then, if Durante had time he'd just have to go looking for them later.

He grinned at the intrusion of yet another fraccion into the meeting hall. His own would never be so rude. Then he saw a tiny figure with mauve hair stick her head down from the top of the door frame, and groaned internally. He prayed that she'd stay outside, but it was useless. Suvi went where she wanted to go, creepy little child that she was. He'd hoped that she'd miss the meeting altogether, but no such luck it seemed.

When she saw Durante, his tiny fraccion smiled a creepy upside-down smile and vanished, maybe to find her siblings. Durante was under no illusions, she'd turn up again soon enough.

From an outsider perspective it looked like the friccon went down and as Ja'eq approached him he suddenly gained 30cm to height and then returned to his normal height. "Spring Showers?!"

They both screamed in unison, quite shocked at Fritz's decision to use Spring Showers. Lala and Lulu immediately jumped on top of Fritz's back, Lala pulling his hair and pounding his head while Lulu was busy giving him a massive wedgie.

Lulu screamed, "You promised to use Winter Chill this week!"

Then Lala screamed, "Shut up Lulu! Fritz, you should have known you would be severely punished if you didn't use Summer Breeze."

Both twins continued to torment their poor fraccion until Ja'eq, the 6th Espada, walked past them stepping on Fritz as he came by. Normally the twins would be very angry but something else caught their attention, his cup of tea.

"Oh! So this is a tea party!" Lala and Lulu both screamed.

"Yay! We love tea parties!" They then rummaged through the laundry pulling out a maid's dress,

"Put this on Fritz." Lala demanded.

Lulu sat back in her chair sitting nicely, "Maid, my sister and I would like some tea please." as she finished she smiled looking at Fritz, expecting him to play along with them.

"Goodness, what's taking the higher-ups so long to arrive?"

A vague inquiry from Altoro who fiddled with his fingers in discomfort. The hijinx Lulu and Lala exhibited were like torture; how could two opposing forces be equally as annoying as their fraccion? It was mindboggling, but like most thoughts he kept that to himself. The only calming aspect of this entire dillema was the soothing fragrance of tea that filled the room. He didn't care much for its taste but tea from the farthest reaches of Hueco Mundo had such an alluring aroma. It was exhilerating. Ja'eq's tea however was different, quaint, devilishly orgasmic. Though he'd never express his admiration for the smell in bodily gestures, somehow he was sure the others were aware-----but he didn't want to stray from the topic at hand.

"Where I wouldn't rule out the possibility that Shinigami have made themselves a camp somewhere in Hueco Mundo I must question their reasoning. If what Durante says is true then why would the Shinigami build camp on enemy terf? That's suicide for any normal shinigami, even the 2nd squad. Could it be there is a higher authority within the intruding tresspassers? As for the Orb of Distortion......well I have no comment on that."

Quickly, Fritz pulled the maid's uniform over his head. It had been odd at first, all the frills and lace, but by now this was probably the thousandth time he'd been dressed in girl's clothing. Maybe it was the sake talking, but it wasn't so bad. It might even be comfortable were he not wearing his regular uniform underneath.

"Yes, Lulu-sama, right away!" he said with a deep bow.

Satisfied, Lulu's attention went elsewhere for a moment. Fritz used this opportunity to grab his sake jug from amidst the laundry before dashing into the back kitchen to prepare their tea.

OOC: This may come as a surprise to some: it did to me at first too. Check the post by Kolbertt in the Espada contest thread if you're doubting me :D.

"Ninian... Ehh what?!!"

Alan woke up rather suddenly, startled to see an arrancar attendant bending over him, holding some weird tool. Even weirder, Alan's uniform had been partially removed, and the aforementioned attendant looked like he was carving up Alan's bare thigh.

Fortunately for said attendant, Alan didn't have much physical strength, but even so he went flying rather abruptly, and smashed into the far wall with a fair amount of force, though not enough to cause any severe damage. As Alan's thoughts cleared up a bit and he awakened fully, he realized that he now had the number "10" on his right thigh. The attendant began to speak.

"My deepest apologies, Alan-sama. I didn't mean to startle you, but you were asleep when I found you, and... you... you, well, you didn't seem like you would want to be disturbed anytime soon. But I recall that you once mentioned the place you'd like your number tatoo to be put, if you were ever made a member of the Espada, so I took the liberty to start on your tatoo while waiting for you to wake up."

This came as something of a shock to Alan. Espada? Him? "What do you mean? I'm an Espada now? Since when?"

"The order came through very recently, sir. Though it took me a little while to find you. If you doubt me, here is the official order, bearing the seals of the higher ups."

It was true. But it certainly wasn't something Alan was expecting. Fixing his uniform, he walked to the room's exit, murmured a brief "Sorry for sending you flying, but don't poke people with needles in their sleep in the future", and was about to leave when the attendant once again spoke up.

"Alan-sama! Before you go, you should know about the meeting! The Espada meeting, that is. I think it may have already started, actually."

...

Standing outside the door of the meeting place, Alan was not exactly happy. Being the 10th and weakest Espada, it was not exactly a good idea for him to suddenly arrive very late. He had rushed to the meeting hall as fast as possible after comfirming the details, but now he took a moment to compose himself. After all, he should make the best first impression possible.

Calmy striding into the room, he spoke clearly and politely to the assembled arrancar. "My deepest apologies for being so late, there were some unfortunate circumstances that I won't bore you with. My name is Alan Matiaha, and I am the 10th Espada."

What was with this reaction? Alan expected annoyance and anger at his late arrival, but instead he got... surprise, doubt, and incredulity. True, the unique nature of Alan's powers meant he didn't give off much spiritual pressure in his unreleased state, so perhaps that might be cause for some doubt, but this seemed beyond that. Glancing around the room, Alan noticed a lot of attention seemed to be focused on him and one other arrancar: a rather tall, armor clad figure. Alan didn't like the feeling he got from all this.

"The tall one also say he is the 10th espada…listen…the 10th is a special number, it’s the easiest to steal and the first mile stone for ambitious Arrancar. In a way it's also the hardest to keep because you are also on the verge of being too weak to be an espada and even stronger opponents would prefer to start there and then usually to jump to 8th or 7th before they start being really ambitious…anyways, what I am trying to say is that this kind of thing is natural for the 10th so it doesn't matter which one of you is the 10th…deal with it on your own because it won't be the last time."

Ja'eq thought about that stupid day when he killed the 6th…he didn’t planned to kill him, he just tried to scare him by grabbing his heart, in the hope that it will scare him enough to stop harassing Ja'eq with his constant demand to heal him after his battles with other espada. Now this damn curse is over Ja'eq head, kill or be killed.

The introduction of another 10th drew a slow turn from Curtis. Taking three steps to fully change his orientation to face the new arrival, he examined him closely through his mask. An awkward moment of silence pasted, after which Curtis simply sighed.

"So it falls to you then.... very well, so be it. Such things must surely happen often among those known as espada. It is certainly a troublesome title......."

Curtis looked over his shoulder at the now larger group.

"Thus you have seen this. We shall return to our solitude. Adieu."

With that, Curtis lumbered from the meeting hall, hesitating only briefly as he passed by the new number 10, giving him a sympathetic nod in farewell.

The rather polite departure of the former number 10 was a bit unexpected. Upon learning that the old #10 had not died but been demoted, Alan had at first assumed he had just aquired a new enemy. But the tall knight didn't really seem upset at all, merely resigned to the fact. Of course, he might just be a good actor; Alan would definitely have to be wary. And not just of the former number 10, the ghost-like Espada had made a good point about the perils of the #10 spot.

Looking around the room, Alan saw that it was already fairly full. He quickly glanced at each of the inhabitants, trying to measure them as best he could. The ghost-like Espada with the large mask looked to be fairly powerful, and Alan caught a glimpse of a 6 on the palm of his hand. So he was indeed strong. There was something unnerving about him; Alan would have to be careful around that one.

What caught Alan's attention the most were two young looking female arrancar sitting together on the same chair. They appeared to be twins, and that was a phenomenon Alan had never seen before: not among arrancar that is. Strangely, both of the arrancar girls had the number 5 tatooed on them. Were they really twins, or were they somehow a single being? Whatever they were, Alan couldn't help noting that they certainly had interesting fashion tastes.

In addition, the room contained 2 male arrancars with long black hair, who looked fairly similar to each other. One of them had distinctive purple eyes, and he also had a pleasant smile on his face, though there was something odd about it.

And almost unoticed by Alan, another female arrancar sat in the corner of the room. She had rather distinctive red hair, and she wore somewhat revealing clothing, though compared to the twins she looked quite modest in that regard.

Politely bowing to the room, Alan decided to sit in the corner near the red-haired female.

At the other end of the room, opposite of the entrance, a section of the wall slides into the floor. Out of this opening walk out a man and a woman, espada no doubt. They walk to the table where the others have gathered and they each take a seat at the end, sitting across from one another. Both quickly scan the group before them, evaluating their peers. So this was the new generation of Espada.

"Segunda Espada, Auguste Pierrot," says the male.

The girl introduced herself soon after, "And I'm Primera Espada, Mircalla Zolmao." She leaned back into her chair. "Feh, the last two sure are late," she said with a bit of annoyance.

Then he made eye contact with the woman and realised that he was an idiot for thinking such a stupid thing. With a sigh he leant forwards and rested his chin on the table, in a very child like gesture, then he rolled his head to face towards the Primera Espada.

"Since you know these two are late, would I be correct in assuming that you already know who we all are?"

"So these two are the Primera and Segunda Espada huh?" thought Lala,

"This is too much," Ja'eq thought to himself, "I can't stand this pressure," unlike the other espada, Ja'eq isn’t truly an espada level in body, his body is frail (beside his monster like grip) and his reitsu isn’t nearly as high (which actually helped him to stay quiet in the walls and only great emotional stress makes his whereabouts known) he is incapable of sonido or anything above bala, he is weak. His advantage is his intelect, endurance of release and his release which is arguably one of the more deadly ever seen in this desert world. And now the difference in power was shown, he was sweaty and breath hard, his instincts told him to run away, this was too much of an enemy, who knows how much power they wield!

He kept his vision at the primera espada, feeling the fear creeping over him as his instinct yell at him "STRIKE FIRST OR RUN!"

He whispered to himself as he took the time to meticulously examine the seemingly harmless duo. Needless to say, the boy was wise to take caution as he was unaware of their tolerence; a single look could prove deadly. The position of the 9th Espada was not a position Altoro chose by will, it was a positon earned by the blessings of a higher power. Now, that higher power manifested and became whole in his presence, and he was intimidated by the sheer might it weilded and the extreme form of law it enforced. Alan was quite glad he had managed to make it into the meeting before these latest arrivals. And now, it seemed everyone had forgotten all about him, and for good reason. What was before him now were the two strongest known arrancar, and therefore presumably two of the strongest beings, of any sort, in all of existance.

Remaining silent for the moment seemed the wisest choice. But Alan had trouble containing his reaction when the Espada with the long hair and violet eyes asked about getting the tatoo. While Alan couldn't be certain, he didn't think this man was an especially high ranked Espada, and therefore such a trivial question seemed to be a bit risky, depending on the temperaments of the number 1 and 2.

Fortunately, Mircalla answered the question without showing any signs of violence. Well, someone with too short a temper probably wouldn't make it as number 1 regardless of how much brute strength he/she had. Still, Alan didn't plan to test the limits of her patience himself.

"Why am I here? Why do I need to suffer this?" the thoughts raced through Ja'eq mind as if he was on speeds, "it happening again, stronger hollows replaced by stronger Arrancar and espada, they will chase me down like they did before and I would run and run until I wouldn’t be able to run anymore and then…" a second identical voice came from behind him, "then I would kill them," in his mind, Ja'eq meet his other self, not a second personality but the man…no, the predator he aspire to be, "I would pick them one by one and they will run, maybe even for days but I would catch them all."

"But those are too strong!" Ja'eq protested.

"Strength is meaningless to one such as me, it doesn't matter how strong their reitsu is, it doesn't matter how tough their skin is, our ability make us the perfect predator, we will stalk them for days, we will wait to the perfect moment and we will snap their spinal cord just like you open a bottle cup. Those two will give us what we dreamed for years, they will give us a world where we can hunt anything, a world where those espada themselves will be our pray, not because they are strong or weak or friend or foe, but because they are there! They shell all fall before the ultimate predator once they will fulfill their purpose. Every single creature in this room, NO! In this universe, is already dead…they just don’t know that…"

"So what should I do? I sweat like a pig out of fear."

"then I shell show you what the future hold, how they shell all fall before me," a visions of Ja'eq ripping parts of the bodies of the espada, gotei and human souls filled his mind, visions of MILLIONS of scenarios of fighting with different opponents and ripping them apart before they even understand what happend, those visions became so fast that soon his mind was filled with bright white light. I am Ja'eq, the specter horror of the white mists forest, I am the ripper that scared the real world even centuries after my death, I am the ultimate predator and I am surrounded by prey…

To the outsider it would look like in a second the shivering and sweating stopped, it was as if it’s someone else, he simply stopped shivering and instead was completely still, and then he turned his horrible milky at the first espada and he said, "Controlling the Shinigami? That sound very interesting, I would like to point out that my skills as a surgeon might be valuable for this endeavor, if you wish so, since I can guarantee to you that my operations leaves no scars or marks on the body while I can borrow into the patient, or victim, most inner organs. Alan was afraid. It was a feeling he was used to; fear was a common emotion for beings such as Hollows and arrancars. For the moment, simply being in the presence of beings as powerful as the high ranking Espada was enough to evoke fear, and it was a perfectly natural reaction given their great power and uncertain dispositions. Also frightning was the #6 Espada. Alan had been too distracted to notice it at first, but #6 had been visibly disturbed at the arrival of the higher ups. But suddenly, he become calm. And then hespoke in a rather chilling voice, offering his "skills", which sounded quite unpleasant.

Suddenly a new voice spoke. Alan looked for the source, rather startled, only to discover a curious looking being he hadn't noticed before. It was kind of hard to not notice it now, though, as it jumped through the air and shot a look at the #1's breasts.

"What?!! Is this thing an utter fool?!"

Alan hadn't sensed its presence at all, which meant it was either weak, or it was hiding its reiatsu. Given that this joker's attitude was beyond disrespectful, Alan suspected it was the latter, unless of course this thing was simply an idiot.

Just in case things were about to get out of hand, Alan carefully moved his right hand towards his sword. For now he'd do nothing, but he'd need to be able to release in an instant. He heard Ninian's voice in his head for a moment, trying to reassure him, but it could only alleviate a little of his fear. He hoped he was succeeding in appearing calm at least.

(OOC: Wait... looking at the #1's outfit, does she have exposed cleavage even? She looks fairly modestly dressed, actually, unless that line down the center which I assumed was a pattern is actually supposed to be bare skin, but considering it goes all the way down... )

The illusively adolescent 9th Espada folded his hands like a gentleman. The unexpected appearance of the two last remaining Espada, Numbers 3 and 4, became a bit of a shock. Their appearance alone made it hard to believe he was the lesser of eight devils, still, the sheer measure of strength had never been determined by looks. If that were the case, It'd be he who stood at the table's end with a domineering smirk.

Out of the blue, as he slowly began to collect himself from the entrance of the overpowered missing links, an atrociously quaint arrancar brazenly lept from nowhere to the edge of the table where the 1st rested. Altoro's first thoughts as he witnessed the incredibly moronic act were Fool! Does he not cherish what little seconds of life remains for such a hanus act? I certainly hope those few seconds of veiwing pleasure were worth dying for.' The fool would have to be far stronger than the female who outmeasured us all in strength, only then would he be able to get away with lechery. This display of disrespect only begot reminiscent thoughts of Juliane and her numerous attempts at"sneaking a peek" at Altoro during his "Nude" bathing sessions. There was no doubt in his mind that Juliane would have tried the very same thing with the Segunda, but to boldly approach him all of a sudden, Juliane had more dignity than she lets on.

"Who is this person," Altoro stated in low tones, " And what does he hope to accomplish?"

"Who the hell is this? The Espada meeting hall jester?" said Lala, shocked at the new arrancar's entrance. "And where is my tea?!" Lala was unable to hold back any longer, she was losing her patience. "And when will the damn meeting start?!"

The other Espada seemed surprised at Lala's sudden outburst, especially since the higher Espada were here.

"Lala I don't think you have to yell..." Lulu was trying to calm her sister, "And I'm sure Fritz will be back with the tea, besides now we have a clown for entertainment." Lulu said with a smile, she almost looked excited that the clown had come.

"Yeah..." Lala said as she slowly began to calm down, "So clown-man are you going to do some tricks or something?" Lulu added, "Like juggling while you balance on a ball?"

It seemed that now Lala and Lulu were more interested in the clown doing tricks, and not so interested in the Espada meeting.

"And where is my tea?!"

Fritz's eyes snapped open, the words ringing in his ears.

"Uh oh..." He snatched up the tray, drowsy and drunk, having totally forgotten that the leading Espada were present.

He burst into the room, moving as fast as he could. "Here it is, Lala-samaaaa!"

As he set the tea down on the table, he realized that the Espada were all looking at him after his loud entrance. The color drained from his face.

He made for the door going back into the kitchen area, and just managed to make it through before fainting dead away.

Here was a meeting of the Espada, the strongest of all arrancar. And arrancar were beings created from Hollows, beings who had obtained far greater power by breaking down their limits. Hollows were themselves terrible and fearsome monsters, and so this was a meeting of monsters among monsters, a meeting of some of the most horrifying creatures in existance.

Or it should have been. In short succession, Alan had witnessed a petulant whine about a tatoo, a weird jester leaping through the air in order to look at the #1's breasts, a whiny outburst from one of the #5 twins, and a loon wearing a maid outfit over his normal clothes serving tea in a drunken fashion.

Alan didn't know whether to laugh from amusement, or scream from fear. Both options seemed good at the moment. Considering that Alan already suffered near-constant doubts about his sanity, this meeting had not helped things.

"I truly am insane, aren't I?" Alan suddenly realized he had spoken that out loud. "Don't worry, you're perfectly sane, this is all really happening." The voice of Ninian in Alan's head reassured him, or tried to.

Alan then realized that he recognized the number 3. Eliel Saarinen: he was the one who had found Alan as a Hollow, and recruited him to join the ranks of the arrancar. Alan didn't know him well, but having at least a semi-familiar face was a bit comforting.

The Primera bent her head forward and brought up her hand to hold it as if she had a headache. What an unruly bunch the majority of this group was. "Let us not consider that option at the moment hmm," she said dryly to answer the one's inquiry about keeping a shinigami pet.

Before she could continue on another rather rude character made its appearance. "I will say what I need to when I wish, state your business arrancar."

As Lala and Lulu received their cups of tea Lala placed hers down on the table, no longer interested in the tea and dismissed Fritz. Lulu took a small sip of her tea then gently placed the cup on the table. As the Primera Espada addressed the rude, jester-like arrancar, it was clear that she would not tolerate his kind of behavior at all, or at least in front of her fellow Espada, Lulu made note of that.

They were also curious as to why this strange arrancar was present at an Espada meeting when clearly all the Espada were present, surely he wasn't here to play the court jester.

"Most likely…" Ja'eq answered Alan question, "the strain must be horrible…would you like me to lobotomize you? It might help stopping the 'voices'," it was clear that under his mask Ja'eq was smiling with an evil grin, it's just seemed like the missing part of the puzzle.

he thought to himself, "Who the hell is that jester, maybe someone should put him off my misery? But it is weird that she just allow such intrusion to her privacy, to me if someone would watch me without my mask is a good enough reason to kill them…girls this age…they got no modesty, just like those girls in London streets… "

The jester like being laughed out loud. Like before, his voice sounded all around the place, like it came from everywhere at once.

“Who’d have said, the Primera Espada would have been so collected? Hohohoho. Actually, it’s common manners to leave those who are about to die their last words, so yeah, I’ll say what I have to say, right now” He stretched his legs into air, and started walking upside down, his face at everyone’s head level. He was a grotesque sight to witness, as everything in him seemed to be out of proportion. Obsenelly thin, his arms and legs were nothing more than sticks that supported enormous hands and feet. The only thing that looked normal in him, was his head. Not that it helped him in any bit, since it was hidden behind heavy make up.

“Does this little trick satisfy you, Small ones?” He said as he approached the twins. “I wonder which one of you is the evil one, by the way” he said as he poked them both in the forehead.

In a blink, he was standing over the table, in front of the one with the strange side-burns. With his long arms, he patted his head
“And you are not crazy, you just happen to have a particular mind. Kinda like me, if you think about it”

Fraction of second later, he was hugging the creppy one with a “6” tatoo on his hand. “My, my, quiet the party-killer face you have... Maybe you need some love? And just for knowing, that small thing I’m patting right now is your Zanpakuto? Cause I’ve heard they were bigger... Oh, Wait, I get it know!! That thing is NOT your Zanpakuto, and that would explain your grumpy face! Hohohohoho!”

He then appeared in the middle of the table. What was weird of his movement, was the fact that no one could feel the sudden outburst of power one usually felt with a Sonido. Even his touch felt bizarre, it was an experience no one had really felt before.

“Now, I wonder if all the Espada’s are as collected as that lady of profitable company over there... You are such a funny group! So yeah... Give me your best strike right here” He said as he pointed his cheek

Durante cocked his head to one side as he listened to the curious being address some of the other Espada. The creature wasn't normal, that much he was sure of. He also knew better than to hit anything that asked to be attacked. Either the thing was unhinged and would respond with an even worse attack, or it would amplify the attack back at the user. Or perhaps it was invulnerable and he would just be embarrassed. Either way he wasn't going to rise to the bait.

He removed his chin from the table, and sat back, wondering what thoughts were going through the creature's head. He wanted to release and find out, but that would be incredibly rude, unless he got orders otherwise, this was something that the higher ups would deal with. He found himself smiling slightly, was this what it meant to be an Espada? Letting other people take charge? If so he liked it.

Usually Ja'eq would start the hunt routine by now, meaning releasing and stalking the pray till the right time arrives and then starting to pluck organs…but why should he? Let the first espada show her power…let's see what the stronger espada can do…

But just to make things clear, Ja'eq draw his Zanpakutou, a short metal blade with jagged back, and stuck it into the table, "it might be smaller but size doesn't matter when you release." Blood was still dripping from the blade and pieces of flesh were stuck at the jugged side, "excuse the condition of my blade but I used it recently and forgot to clean it," Ja'eq gave another creepy smile at the clown, "please continue."

"It might help stopping the 'voices.'"

Alan couldn't contain his surprise after hearing that comment. He had told no one about his past, or about Ninian and the fact that he talked with her. Only the 3rd Espada Eliel Saarinen should have any idea, because he had seen both Alan's bizare Hollow powers and his released state. Had Eliel told the 6th, or was it just a lucky guess? Alan was about to respond, when he felt something patting him on the head.

“And you are not crazy, you just happen to have a particular mind. Kinda like me, if you think about it.”

That was not reassuring. That the joker had gotten so close to Alan so quickly was also bad. What if he had attacked him instead of just patting? In fact, "What if that was an attack?" The guy's touch had felt very weird. And he seemed like a clown, but was obviously quite strong. It wouldn't surprise Alan if he did something unpleasant under the guise of just playing around. Alan felt his head, while the joker was busy mocking the size of the 6th's zanpactou. He didn't feel like anything had been done to him, but perhaps he should later have himself examined by the resident doctor, just to be certain.

"Wait, isn't our doctor the guy who just offered to lobotomize me? Gah! Calm yourself, Alan. You're usually good at not betraying your emotions, don't fall apart now in such important company. Calm... down... ok. Ninian, you probably know myself better than me even. See if you can detect anything that might have been done when that guy touched my head, please."

Alan had regained control of himself. He wasn't going to let himself be disturbed by such little things. Waiting until the 6th finished showing off his grisly weapon, Alan then spoke up.

"You still haven't told us your name, strange one. Isn't it rude for me to strike someone before I even know who he is? I'm Alan Matiaha, the 10th Espada, though I suspect you already know that. And you are...?"

"Elexender Vertinsky is the name, messenger is the job, dissapointed the current mood" The clown answered.

"I personally asked for this task since I was told the Espada were either a bunch of powerhouses, or proud warriors. You've dissapointed me, since you do not seem particularly powerful, nor do you behave like proud warriors. Maybe it's fitting that such a pathetic bunch is nearing it's end?"

As he spoke, he moved around, he dissapeared from above the table, to behind a chair. His face emerged behind random seats. But his voice sounded as omnipresent as ever.

"Cause you know, the Shinigami are the LEAST thing you Espada should worry about... The title "Espada" carries quiet a long history with it. Many beings RESENT the Espada. Status, jealousy, pride, many are the reasons, one is the hate"

He walked from behind a chair, and somersaulted on the table once more.

"As you are gathered, different groups are making their moves. You are getting cornered in this little chess game, and your Queen over there, won't even defend her honour!" He pointed at the Primera Espada with those enormous Micky Mouse gloves. Then, started moonwalking on the table.

"The Espada's lack of action during the last one hundred years has brought new groups on the rise. A bunch of wannabes that are even more pityful than me, but there is a particular one, The "Arcanos" that has called Hueco Mundo's attention and panic... And I'm pretty sure the name "Dios de Diablo" rings a bell to your superiors, right? Cuarta and Tercera Espada? My boss sends you a huuuuuuge "Hi", by the way"

Elexender then got on his hands, and started walking on them over the table.

"I've got this particular message to give, but before I hand it out, I'd like to test on my flesh an Espada cathegory strike. Anyone in this room, I dare you. That's the whole reason why I asked to come myself, instead of that Projecting asshole... If you want to hear my message, you'll have to literally take it out of my mouth, or you can bear with even more riddles. It's your choice, so called "Hueco Mundo Elite" - So, who'll end this little charade?"

"Enough!"

Altoro arose in a fit of rage and conflict. Seldom did he ever use those eyes of contempt and detestment but the creature tested every ounce of his patience.

"How dare you waltz in here with your jibberish!! Going on about power and such! YOU ARE A GROTESQUE CREATURE!! In every sense of the word." Clenching the table with all his strength Altoro snarled ferociously whilst the other Espada gazed, most with amusment. The boy stared down the monster's throat as it forced a remarkably disturbing grin; it was at that moment Altoro sensed a dispicable evil dwelling within the confines of that being's soul. A whithered heart that reluctantly rejected life. Such a being could be called the devil himself----an utterly disgusting existence.

"You've amused us with your acrid display of absurdity, now state your business and leave. No one here has any intention of wasting valuable reiatsu on such a low-class demon."

Elexender smiled, excitement was obvious on his face.

No, my purpose is to stop fiends like you from tainting what little we hollows have left of an existence and free us all from the urge to spill blood." The boy observed carefully as he clutched his fists.

"And for that reason and that reason only......shall I not take your life!"

Having spoken, Altoro lept across the table in breakneck speed delivering a nerve-stunning punch straight into the face of the clown-like horror. However, Altoro's face became petrified with shock as he witnessed something not of this world.

That wants to kill the espada? That is good enough for me," with that Ja'eq threw a severed finger at the table, "come, Kayder," the screaming from the hallway were heard clearly in the espada hall, as the little friccon came flying in, as if pulled by invisible force, crushing down where the finger was.

"Kayder, return to the misty forest, tell the minions to move my lab to this place, I want them here by tomorrow with all my stuff," Ja'eq rose from his chair, towering above the frightened Friccon, "miss Mircalla Zolmao, the seven of us never meet you and never heard your cause, but if you are the enemy of this thing then you have my blade. The jester-like arrancar, known as Elexender Vertinsky, walked completely upside down, this trick wasn't particularly interesting to the twins, both putting on a bored expression. He walked up to them curious to know which of the two was evil, after he spoke he poked both of them on the head.

"That would be Lulu." Lala quickly replied, pointing at her twin sister, "Noo... I'm not evil." Lulu pouted folding her arms across her chest.

Expecting a marvelous trick they continued to watch Elexender pop up in random places, perform somersaults, and walk in various ways. He introduced himself as a messanger but he seemed slow at getting to the point. It turned out that he was openly challenging the Espada.

Altoro, the 9th Espada, accepted this challenge quickly jumped out of his seat and punched Elexender's face. His head exploded but it seemed to do no real harm to him, unfortunately it didn't impair his speech at all. A few moments later his head was reattached and he was sitting in the now vacant seat of the 6th Espada, right next to the twins.

They found this to be an amazing trick, to have your face explode and be unharmed later to have the head reattached like nothing happened. They clapped, applauding Elexender's performance.

"That was a neat trick!" Lulu exclaimed, "Awesome!" Lala shouted. "Sooooo we have to make you talk?" Lala and Lulu both thought aloud, they appeared to be thinking of a way to force the information out of his mouth.

"Well, if we kill him he won't be able to tell us anything... I think tickle torture is a good way to make people talk, it always works on you." Lala said, "Good idea! No one can resist tickle torture!" Lulu responded.

With that Lulu immediately appeared on top of the chair Elexender was sitting in, grabbing both his scrawny arms and holding them up. Lala instantly appeared on Elexender's lap, tickling every ticklish spot known to her.

"And I wouldn't mind too much for him, I'm really light, you know. It's almost as if I didn't exist... I'm pretty sure the terrified face is because you are too near for his taste, right fatty one?"

"But, alas! Given our Crypt keeper friend over there has taken his seat, I'll keep my side of the promise and deliver my speech"

Now standing on Kayder's head, Elexender patted his chest, leaned his head slightly up, and started reciting an obviously improvised rhythm -

All the Espada's from the time
Have died and withered like old plants
In their castle they await
Till they met their final days

One hundred years have passed
You've been given the time
And now it's time for you all
To face the Wrath of the natural borns

For those, who carry the title Arrancar
Shall meet their demise
The sole reason for this outcome
The devil himself will come into action

A deadly silence followed this little chant...

"Yeah, I know, I need to work on my material... But the idea was pretty clear, right?

Your time is over. The official truce is now officially undone, and we call for a War. Those were the words of my Master, the natural Hollow, and saviour of us all, Dios de Diablo!"

"Natural Hollow?", Alan spoke aloud. "Odd words, coming from an entity like you. Until now I wasn't certain what you were, be it Hollow or arrancar or something else, but I'm guessing you are indeed a Hollow, if you follow a master that desires the death of all arrancar."

"Mircalla-sama, should I kill his thing now, or would you rather speak with him further, and perhaps send him back with a message for this 'Dios de Diablo?'" Alan prepared to draw his sword and enter his ressurected state, in case the answer was to kill.

"And are you certain we even can kill him?," Ninain's voice asked. "Hopefully your 'sword' can stop his weird reviving trick from happening", Alan thought back.

As the creature spoke, Durante felt a strange emotion making itself apparent. It took him a moment to realise that it was pure disgust. This thing thought itself their equal? In strength perhaps, but in no other way could they be compared.

He waited for it to finish, then in the moment of silence afterwards he coldly gathered the saliva in his mouth and spat on the creature. As liquid dripped from its face he spoke quietly in a voice that was filled with disgust "Shall I tell you what you dream of little hollow? As all hollows dream the same, it's not difficult to work out. You dream of feeding. Your happiest moments are when you are feeding. Your worst nightmare is of something else feeding on you. Yet somehow little thing you think it appropriate to address us as equals?"

He waved a hand around the table. "Do you know what they dream of? No? Neither do I, because it could be anything, I'd have to attack them to find out. Even the thing you sit on is superior to you, because it has the capacity to dream of something other than food. I would rather be him than return to my former existence as a hollow. You are nothing, so do not come here and address us as though we should care about what you have to say, as though we should fear you."

He paused, realising he'd given quite a speech, and in a fairly serious tone. What would the others think of him? He cocked his head to the side and grinned childishly "Besides, have you seen how ugly you are? Even looking at you makes me ill. Let alone listening to you prattle on about wars."

"As for what I am? I'm a failed experiment. This body of mine is a punishment for going far beyond my limits. If life is simple enough as a Hollow, why should you go turn into an Arrancar? I'll tell you why...

Because Arrancar's are weak. They borrow on their sworn enemies power just to go over the food chain. I curse the moment I became an Arrancar, for it was the moment my life got ruined... Jump on the table fatsy, it's time for a more dramatic move"

As Kayder jumped on the table, Elexender started waving his arms around, and kept making his voice into a more deep, Sonata-like voice.

"I aid the one who kills Arrancar, simply cause my dream in this life, is to end it. In my quest, all the treasure I look for, is the pleasure of a more "Permanent" death. I've dared you to kill me, and out of fear you failed to do so. Even the 9 strongest person in this pathetic army, has failed to leave me dead for more than 5 seconds. You say you want to kill me? I've experienced 342 deaths at the time. The pain of each one of them engraved in my memory"

"As for the superiority of Arrancar, I've seen Hollows living in harmony, and moving with swiftness and organization far superior than this little tea party here"

"Hollows can be brutal, but so can Arrancars. What marks the difference is not a race, but the brain behind a pretty face... But what kind of Messenger am I? I shouldn't say more than I was told to! How unproffesional of me! So, any last words before I go back into oblivion?"

The blaze in his eyes subsided---the pendulum of his mind swaying once again. Never had he witnessed such an odd creature or the containment of devious intent in his words. Altoro wasn't trying at all to mortally devastate the mutant of incomparable hideousity and yet somehow his face had become dust in the wind.

"What have I done?" softly whimpered Altoro. Just then, an ominous laughter arose from behind. Altoro swiftly turned his head and to his dismay the creature jeered at the Espada unharmed in the absent Sexta's seat. The youth could hardly believe his eyes yet the inconcievable truth was in his wake. He watched as the atrocity who called himself Elexander transitioned from place to place, even taunting the small, chubby fraccion who inexplicably claimed to be the sixth. Altoro stepped from the table back to his seat as though the interruption earlier had not occured, but as he settled to take his place, a certain statement caught his attention.

"Your time is over. The official truce is now officially undone, and we call for a War. Those were the words of my Master, the natural Hollow, and saviour of us all, Dios de Diablo!"

Alan laughed out loud, a laugh filled with irony. "Hollows are actually superior to arrancars? That seems to be what you are trying to say. Well, that certainly isn't something I thought I'd ever hear. Even most Hollows can acknowledge that they simply are jealous, and want greater power." Alan laughed again, and this time there were tinges of something... odd about it.

He didn't usually like to show his emotions so much, but he couldn't help but think of his own past, and the... thing he was while a Hollow. The mere idea that anybody could consider something like what he was as a Hollow superior to what he was now was absurd. It was comical. For Alan, becoming an arrancar was the greatest thing that had happened in his (after)life, even irrespective of any power it gave him.

"I see now. You jester like appearance isn't just a coincidence. You've really been sent here to entertain us with jokes like what you just said."

"I see little arrancar...so that is your message..." finally spoke out the Primera after listening to the long rant by Elexander. She rose from her seat and looked towards the abomination, the thing that tainted the name of all arrancar. Somehow she was able to keep her mask on, maintained by an ever gracious smile even in the face of such filth. "Well I'm sorry Elexander, but your message is one I've come to understand already long ago, so your coming here was quite useless...save for one reason. I believe you can send a strong message to your master for me."

In an instant she was gone, and reappeared in front of the arrancar, her hand grasping its face, "A final message." A touch was all she needed really, but she dug her nails into face of the arrancar for good measure and it would soon feel itself losing all energy. She'd sap the thing dry of all life yet.

"What is it now? You'll Cero my face off? Tear it to shreds?" Elexender mocked the First Espada around even as he was at her mercy, and would have continued to do so, where it not for a sound coming from his body. The sound of his own beating heart.

Pain wasn't a particularly good signal, since he had felt it before. But the beating of his heart was a particular phenomena he had only experienced once since he became an Arrancar...

As thoughts raced through his head, he imagined being somewhere else. Usually, that would sufice to make him appear there, but now, it didn't work. He stood there, with those sharp nails embedded in his face. He extended his arm to touch his killer... but it crumbled like a dried up plant.

His arms and legs withered and were left hanging. Soon, all that remained was a mangled torso. However, at this point, Elexender understood the situation. He was NOT being killed, he was being ABSORVED into the Primera Espada.

My existance would go on tied to this being and would remain alive until she died...

"HoHohoho... Wonder for how long I'll remain dead now? And even as I die, I'm unable to feel the touch of something on my hands... For depriving me of that last pleasure, I'll do my best to give you Diarrhea..."

Now, Mircalla Zolmao stood in a pose straight out of Shakespeare, complete with head in her hand -

"By the way... Why do you keep hiding facts from them? Do you trust your Espada so much that you keep them in the dark? Why don't you tell them what happened with THAT? Cause I can tell them what happened to the Hou..."

And as his skull turned into pure reiatsu, his last words lacked the echo effect that had made his previous speech so bizarre. His mouth had been closed, and with it, the secrets he held, lost into oblivion.

But was that really the death of Elexender Vertinsky? For the moment, everything seemed quiet, and his mockerous tone wouldn't ring in the halls of Las Noches for a while...

Alan had known nothing of the powers of the #1 Espada. This was the first time he saw her strength in action, and it was rather unsettling. "10th Espada" or not, Alan always knew he was relatively weak. Among his allies were many who could crush him with ease, and some of them would probably gladly do so with little provocation. And Alan knew that among his enemies were also many others that outclassed him just as much. Now it became apparant that he had more enemies than he realized at first; the Shinigami weren't the only ones he'd have to fear. They might actually be the least dangerous to him.

"I can't die.. I can't get killed, not now. Not that I'm finally with Ninian again, not now that her life depends on mine.." A small part of him spoke in a doubting voice, though. "That's assuming she's real. That's assuming that I'm not just a madman trying to escape guilt. Because if am, then I should die."

Alan glanced around the room, at his fellow Espada, trying to gauge their reactions to the events that just occured. He also wondered if anyone would dare ask about Elexender's last words, and question Mircalla about whether she was hiding things from them. Hopefully anyone who did so would be someone sitting far far away from Alan. He felt a bit of disgust at just how frightened he was, but at least he didn't think he was showing much of this fear to others. The best someone like him could hope for was to at least stop his fear from controling him completely.

"is that all?" Ja'eq thought to himself, "is that the power of the 1st? sucking life like some kind of vampire or parasite? at least the damn clown would shut up for now. all that remain is for the girl to tell us her plan to 'control' the shinigami...that would open so many doorways, why bleed against those idiotic hollows? let the shinigami fight them for us," diffrent thoughts about strategy came into Ja'eq mind, how can they fool the shinigami, and how can his abilities serve the cause...all that left now is for that girl to drop the shakespirian act, stop wasting everyone time and tell them why the hell did they dragged their ass all the way into los nochas.

Just like that the Primera Espada easily finished Elexender's rambling. It seemed she had sucked out his life-force and in response his frail, flimsy body had crumbled into dust. This was just a small presentation of the first Espada's power.

"So the clowns gone huh? Stupid trash looking down on us." said Lala

"It would seem so, this jester looking down upon us was... sad." replied Lulu

The twins couldn't help but wonder about Elexender's last words, though he could not finish his final statement seemed to imply that the Primera Espada, Mircalla Zolmao, was hiding something. It is natural for Lala and Lulu to be at least curious of what was going on, hopefully all the questions would be answered when Mircalla would finally explain their situation.

"So there you have it, our main threat right now is not the shinigami, but the hollow Dios de Diablo and his minions. The shinigami will serve as...good temporary "allies"."

As quickly as she had appeared on the table to dispose of Elexander, she reappeared back at her seat. "Any questions?"

"how will we take over the shinigami? who is this diablo fellow? how strong his forces? what is our force? and what about the orb of distortion? minions would be a welcomed addition in a war."

"I Understand. Long have I awaited this moment, the very reason god allowed me to become an Arrancar. The day is at hand at last, for me to face the Devil himself."

Sword in hand Altoro sprang from his seat. In valor he stood, as determined as the light of the luminous sun to cast away all darkness; his sword reflected his ambition and his eyes relayed the message.

"Though I may not have the strength I need nor the intelligence, I have prepared myself for the day I would go head-to-head with the devil. Through every trial and misfortuned loss I have saved nothing but immense hatred for the soul eater whose evil plagues our world. Note, Espada, the revolution commenses and I shall be the Harbinger of peace and prosperity for the ill-fated world of Hueco Mundo. Mark my words."

Having spoken, the boy whose hair swayed prominently sheathed his blade and slowly stepped towards the door of the meeting hall unexcused, sporting a fearless grin.

Durante's half smile grew briefly as he watched his almost-twin heading out of the hall. Clearly the boy was an idiot, however even idiots could be useful. He resolved to go visit Altoro Delgado sometime soon, and maybe find out what it was the boy dreamt of that made him so honest, brave and utterly insane.

He turned back to the Primera Espada. "Shinigami 'allies'. I did notice the tone you used on that word, perhaps you would like to explain it. Considering their sense of superiority when it comes to arrancar, I doubt you'd be able to persuade them to work with us voluntarily. That's not to say that they couldn't be persuaded... But really I think it's best that you tell us if you have a specific plan, or if you want us to just go off on our own and figure something out."

"Oh you have many questions, Ja`eq." She turned her attention to 8th Espada. "Yes, the shinigami may seem like unlikely..."allies"...but given the right circumstances we can sway their choice quite easily. I believe that the majority of them are rather unaware of the existence of Diablo, we shall aid in their...enlightenment to that. This phase of the plan has already been sent into motion, we will have the shinigami fear the power of this hollow, luring them towards suspicion with hollow we have pledged to our side, and they will accept our "aid" when we offer it."

"As for who Dios de Diablo is, he is a vastro lorde of immense power." Her face suddenly turned grim, "it is regrettable to say, but he is powerful enough to easily best any of us in single combat. The strength of his forces is unknown, but if we were to face him directly, the result would not be favorable. The orb of distortion has unfortunately been lost long ago, even I do not know where it has gone."

The primera stood once more, "That is all for now and I conclude this meeting. We will have a series of missions that each of you will be required to accomplish in the future, but for now, digest what you have learned here and rest."

(Meeting is over, conclude your posts etc.)

'Where the hell does he go to? To search for the holy grail?' Ja'eq said to himself after the 9th speech and early departure to death.

"Very well, I'll go search for a place that will be my room and laboratory. Kayder, you have your orders, go to my old lab and bring everything with the minions," And with that the ghost of the white mist forest left the conference room.

Yay it's over!" Both twins seemed happy that the meeting had concluded. They jumped out of their seat and headed towards the kitchen. A moment later they came out, Lulu dragging the drunk, unconscious body of their Fraccion, Fritz, while Lala picked up the laundry basket. They waved childishly at the rest of the Espada as they exited the meeting room.

Once outside Lulu's head was filled with thoughts, "Dios de Diablo is stronger than the Primera, we must 'ally' ourselves with Shinigami, the Orb of Distortion is lost? So much information..." Lala had heard all of her sister's thoughts, "It's better not to think about all of it now lets just find our way to our room. Here take the laundry basket." Lala tossed the basket towards Lulu, leaving her with little time to react.

Lulu easily caught the basket and held it up with one hand, her other hand dragging Fritz on the floor. Lala pulled out a map from her jacket and opened it. "It looks like if we follow this path we'll get to our room." With that she led her sister off into the halls of Las Noches.
