GOTW #3 VOTING!

Wooh! - For half an hour, I can consider this on date :fu. Borderlines FTFW .p

Anyhow, since I want to make the new GOTW still in time, I won't go extra witty here with a snappy remark or sth on those lines. I'll just give it a bit of feeling, and jump straight to the CONTESTANTS:

Oh, right, the voting system:flirt: Since last week, we've changed the voting system for a Sexyier, more functional one:

You chose a category, and are allowed to vote for the best and the second best (2 points, and a point respectively) - You are free to chose all the categories you want, but must always give the vote in pairs.

Two entries were left out; Simply cause they were of topic - Mushrooms don't look tasty in a Sci-Fi feeling. They felt far from "Apetitizing"

And "Lollipop" from Mika made a wonderful musical reference - But the sig itself wasn't "Delicious" - It would have helped to have a lollipop like background, or have Mika eating something :-_-

But that's it for today! I've got 3 minutes till midnight, So I don't think I'll make the new GOTW in time :zomg

Sigs:

Zorko - 2 Points: What can I say, the effects really impressed me. Contrast between slightly blurred Naruto and the sharp background was nice too. On the other hand, I thought he was eating a banana at first, so maybe make the ramen a bit more visible.
Fuzie - 1 Point: Very cute, and a nice overall feel that I liked better than S13's colorless one. Fits the theme better too. The effects are a bit too plain though, I could pull something similar off in MS Paint >>

Fuzie - 2 Points: Again, cuteness prevails here. I didn't like the stock so much though, since the shading goes into his eye bags, and he just doesn't seem as excited about the cupcakes as I'd envisioned XD
Myfinalheaven - 1 Point: Sexy, and an overall nice sig, just two things wrong. One, some of the details in the background don't seem like much of anything apart from randomly placed pixels, and two, I don't really like the cut-off text. That, and the width-heavy dimensions of the pic, make me feel like something's been cut off from the entire thing.

Fuzie - 2 Points: Bear with me here, I'm not just voting for you here because I don't think it'd be proper to vote for my own. Yours is cute (I sense a trend here >>), well-drawn, smooth, and clean, more than I'm capable with MS Paint. And although i think mine is animated pretty well, it doesn't depict an actual emotion, which is pretty much the point of emotes, right? So Fuzie has this one over me :3
Just one bit of criticism - the edges of your emote aren't incredibly clean, maybe fix those up a bit. Though compared to looking at mine on a dark background ...
Dizzy - 1 Point: See above.

S13 - Hmm, I wonder: Simplistic, though eye-pleasing. Just a word of advice - remember to anti-alias all of the oranges' borders. Also, you accidentally cut off the tip off one of the slices. Yeah, black backgrounds let me see the downsides of everything >>

Signatures -

Shinigami13 ( 2 Points ) - I like the picture itself a lot and I’m a huge fan of the … oh, I don’t know how to put it, the left to right lines that slightly distort the background. The font with the boxes lying under the text is awesome too. I don’t like all the black brushes to the right of the picture so much but I think this is a seriously sweet signature!

Zorko - ( 1 Point ) - To be honest, I like the background a lot more than the picture. The text is beautiful and I love the colors. Its bright and cheerful! Also, the light surrounding the bottom of the signature gives off the impression of shiny steam. XD It makes me hungry for noodles…

MyFinalHeaven ( 2 Points ) - I don’t like the text cut off on the bottom but I like the whole red theme. It all looks like candy.

Fuzakeru ( 1 Point ) - …no one else to vote for. D:

Dizzy ( 2 Points ) - Yeah… on a black background ( which I use ) it could use some cleaning up but the beautiful animation completely makes up for it and so much more. I love that the mouth doesn’t just open and close but it actually curves and flows in to the puffy cheeks. The animation is flawless and smooth and I’m extremely impressed!

Fuzakeru ( 1 Point ) - …there’s no one else to vote for. D: Also, the little smudge line to the right of the cupcake is supposed to hint at it shaking.

Shinigami 13 ( …All dem points ) - Y’know, I noticed the clipping of the orange too but I think I’m more distracted by the slices in each corner. I think having a slice in just one corner would have been enough. Perhaps the one in the right corner followed by a thick, orange/green border would have been nice. I absolutely ADORE the text though! So cute! <3333 Its so cool that you added leaves and little spots to the O in Orangez.
