I was getting worried about their evolution when The Resistance was released, because I'm unable to like that album and it was the first time that something like that happened with Muse. So I was pretty anxious about the 2nd law. In the end, I liked it very much so I'm not concerned anymore. Let the boys do what they want, even bringing a zeppelin into the stadium :lmao

It's just that some people are getting pissed at the animated Rising Sun flag. It's like the Asian version of the Hakenkreuz (aka. the Nazi symbol), so of course it's understandable. In the video it's used to symbolize dawn, the Sun rising. What do you people think about this? Should the symbol be edited out or something for being offensive?

I love all of their albums equally. The 2nd Law was a bit different and it's taken me a while to get completely on-board, but I love it now.

Okay, here's my stuff :p

So, first off, two items here are made by me. I made them during an art course in junior high about 3 years ago. The chair is... Pretty plain and looks dumb, but I sit on it all the time so it doesn't really matter that much :D The other item is the one with Showbiz - The Resistance album covers. They're glued on wooden plates which are connected to each other with metal rings, which makes it possible for the whole thing to be hung on a wall :p Then we have the whole discography, The Resistance and The 2nd Law are special editions with a "Making Of" -DVD included in both of them. Then there's my Muse pick case which I bought at Kaisaniemi Park in July 2010. It contains 6 picks, 5 with a specific album cover and 1 with the Muse logo :)

And here's the poster. "Demi" in the lower right corner is the name of the magazine it was taken from. I gotta say, Maffoo looks mighty sexy in this one... :heehee

Remember the Olympics? Strange that they didn't do something like this when Survival was chosen as the official song, it would have been very "fitting" because this time it's just a track (or tracks) in a movie, and Muse have allowed their songs to be played in a few movies already (Twilight x2 [SMBH & Neutron Star], Haute Tension [New Born] come to mind). This led me to thinking that... They've worked their magic on the whole score, which is written by Beltrami :zomg Lol maybe not.

Or maybe it's "just" pumping up the hype for a brand new song which will be featured in WWZ, who knows? :p
