Filler Arc Theory

Hey, this is my first post on BA. Anyway I have a theory how this arc will play out and not affect the manga storyline.

Based on the opening a major part of this filler will involve the young, blond girl and her two possible body guards. From the preview for next weeks episode she seems to be some sort of royalty. She probably doesn't belong to the direct royal family or Aizen would enter the scene in a second.

Being captured in the opening, there has to be a rescue. Involving Ichigo and co., Renji, Rukia and the two body guards. They are seen running towards the girl at the end of the opening. After Ichigo fights the scar-ninja in the opening the rescue squad races towards the girl. The two body guards expressions change, probably by seeing Ichigo. They have uneasiness with Ichigo, a shinigami closely affiliated with soul society. Which brings how these three new characters tie in with the other side of the story, Amagai Shuusuke.

Amagai Shuusuke and his partner Kifune Makoto have entered the gotei 13 as a captain and a third seat. Despite his care for his squad a mystery still remains. Komamura continues to question the two captains who examined him. Creating questions about this new captain. Soul Society has known to have bad luck with captains. Urahara, Aizen, Ichimaru, Tousen, Vizards, Yorucihi. So this new captain may follow a good amount of his predecessors.

Now lets talk about these ninja characters. They are obviously after this girl and are acting as the main enemy. Their leader is most likely the old guy with monocle. The scar-ninja will act as the Byakuya or Grimmjow of this arc. Their main base must tbe the golden palace featured in the opening. This goden place seems to be place directly within the walls of Seireitei. So they must be related to the gotei 13 somehow. Now in the opening one of the two body guards and Renji are fighting shinigami. Since Renji and the body guards are considered on Ichigo's side, the good side, shinigami are once again in this arc considered "bad" and would be connected to the ninjas.

If these ninjas are a part of Seireitei they would be a seperate branch. Soifon's special forces for example. Now we have an unknown, unnamed branch of soul society and a Captain who has just been promoted from a "patrol unit". Now for the anime and manga to stay in check Amagai Shuusuke will have to die or somehow be unable to appear in the future. Since good guys never die in Bleach, Amagai would have to be evil.

Amagai is from a patrol unit which could possibly be this ninja group. Thus connecting shinigami and ninja further. A reason why the two body guards would be careful of mainstream shingami and race towards Ichigo with angered expressions in the opening. So Amagai being a part of the ninjas would explain why he would die or vanish at the end of the arc.

Just my predictions on this filler arc. It actually looks better then the Bount arc and should be okay.

I will agree that this looks better then bount arc. I wish they would have done this and kept the bount arc separate. Pretty sure they learned from their mistakes. The only thing that I don't like, is the timing of the fillers. Just makes the whole story suck. I'd almost prefer a complete anime original adaptation at this point, but I guess they want to follow the story, so that's out, which I guess is a good thing. It's just when over half of the episodes are already fillers.... yea....

You know, since the girl coming to Karakura is a princess........I wonder if those guarding her are seated officers of the Royal guards, as well as her personal servants? It would add another interesting element to get our first look at members of that squad.

The only problem I have with this arc is the fact that the people in HM are involved in it. Not sure how they are gonna explain that when the main storyline picks back up...

Yeah Ichigo guys being in the fillers is a problem with the timeline of the main story, and the only thing I can think of to explain it is a Alternate timeline at this point. And about her bodyguards dislike towards Ichigo I think its just that they dont want him to get romantic with her I've seen it before in other anime anyway everything else makes sense. Well that was a pretty good first post you got there seithex:thumbs.

The only problem is that it is almost impossible or ridculous to attempt to connect it to the storyline. First of all Inoue would have to be kidnapped again, Grimmjow attacks Ichigo again about 3 seconds after the place where the anime left off, then of course Ichigo has to be half beaten again, Nel has to come back and well we know how that ends up, Renji is barely able to walk, Ishida's pretty beat and they are still in Zael's trick room meaning Zael must take a really long time to change his clothes and Rukia and Sado might as well be dead and if not they would have to be on the verge of death again, Rukia would have to be near Aareneiro for Zomari to come, and a whole bunch of otehr factors. There is no way that these fillers can be connected to the storyline in any possible way, it'll probably be like an OVA.

she could be a princes from one of the more noble families, dosnt have to be ROYAL one.

as for killing amagi. if they didnt killed the mod souls yet then they dont have to kill amagi.

maybe there will be something like time travel? or the only way to save the girl is to somehow to cancel the events that saved orihime, and in the end they will find themselves in HM without the memory of what happend? and maybe its a ichigo clone.
