Haha, starting a retro thread about this awesome Transformers series. IMO, this was the best. My favorite characters were Dinobot, Cheetor, Rattrap, Inferno, and Megatron. Yess... lol (reference to Megatron :P)

How many others on here are 90's Beast Wars fans?

OMG showing my age again, LOL! XD

I totally watched this show, though I didn't follow Beast Machines as well as I did this. It was awesome, though the whole Megatron and his rubber ducky was o_O.

My favourites were Depth Charge, Optimus Primal, Rhinox, Dinobot, Blacharachnia, and Cheetor (the more mature one :p). Silverbolt was also a fav of mine. ^^

Haha I remember this show from waaay back in the day, it was awesome. I had the action figures (It was 7-8 years ago, I was 11/12 :o) for Rattrap, Rhinox, Cheetor, Optimus Primal, and a few others. The show was a great one while growing up, I just wish they'd show it again for my little brother (he's 9) :p

The best Transformers series ever. Used to own the Tarantulas action figure. His second form I think.

Yep i even had the cheap action figures XD good times, i was a big Optimus fan, and Silverbolt don't know why exactly.

lmfao i just watched the whole thing again the other day after i saw Transformers

i grew up on Beast Wars, so yes, it is an awesome show.

Transmetal II Cheetor was the best, in my opinion.

Too bad about Beast Machines though. I especially didn't like how they changed corny Silverbolt to a Dinobot wannabe.

But at the same time, I couldn't get enough of Jetstorm.

I remember Beast Wars. What an amazing show it was. I had every single transformer and all of the "metal" ones (can't remember what their name was). i would play with those toys for hours and hours. Good times.

OMG. You have all of them? So lucky, my mom wouldn't get me some of them because they were too expensive XD Like, the big transmetals, like Transmetal and Transmetal II Megatron were pretty expensive. $50 or something? Same with like Rampage and Tigertron, I think.

It's too bad Terrorsaur and Scorponok died at the end of season one. I liked them and it would've been badass to see Terrorsaur get the Transmetals form, since he also has a Transmetals toy, but I think Waspinator was more popular than him, so he was killed off instead of Wasp-bot lol.

I agree. Beast Machines was t3h sux. I liked it for like, 5 minutes, then thought it was lame. I know that everything gets explained later on, but during that first episode, I was like, "WTF, back to season one beast mode? And then weird bodies"? In any case, the last episode of Beast Wars is a good enough ending, anyway. I have some youtube links if any of you wanna watch it.

yeah i loved beast wars...

when i watch it now though it seems so weird.

its just an american version transforms show right?

have ppl seen beast machines? its just the newest version of beast wars.

Beast Wars was the best. It was the main reason for me getting to school on time because it was on an hour before school started. It was so great because it actually dealt with issuses like betrayle and death.

Dinobot was the best character. I was so sad when he died :cry

I actually enjoyed this show more than the original Transformers.

Rattrap, Rampage, and Depth Charge are my favs.

O-M-G THAT SERIES WAS AWESOME! I liked Optimus and Cheetor the best.I remember the action figures too but of course it was my brother who collected them (I wasn't interested in the action figures...except for Cheetor...I was more a doll and tea parties girl XD)

Man I can't believe it :D Just 2 days ago I started rewatching the series on youtube and now I found this thread! COINCIDENCE??
Anyway I only wanted to rewatch some scenes that remembered I liked and ended up almost watching the entire thing. I was a BIG fan back when it came out, but I honestly didn't suspect to get hooked on it again . I thought it wouldn't impress me as much anymore since ,you know, mid-90's CG and such , but boy was I wrong. If nothing else ,I love the characters, Dinobot and Rattrap in particular. I kinda stopped watching after Code of Hero though. Still I'd watch season 1 again and again :D

Really didn't like Beast Machines though

Code of Hero was the best episode. Dinobots final words were so moving I thought, it was a fitting end for him.

beast wars was freaking awsome at the time, but i can't really bring myself to watch it anymore. is it the animation or my aged humor?
i'm actually disappointed that i can't enjoy it anymore :(

I found it a little weird when I first started watching it again, but I got over that after the first few episodes, its such a fun show :)

Beast Machines was fail. I personally disliked the designs very much and missed the organic and more realistic, I suppose, feel of Beast Wars. Suddenly, they end up on a screwed up planet where Megatron rules or something and a generic swarm of baddies chases them everywhere.

Whee.

The Beast Wars toys were so bomb. Especially the Transmetals. I really wanted Transmetal Megatron and Dragon Megatron, but they were kinda expensive :p
