手錠で鎖をつけられたままのツナと、研究を続けるスパナ。

ツナ｢あのっ！聞いていいですか？　(無視するスパナ)　・・・・・やっぱりダメか・・・
(スパナって人　何考えてんだか分かんないな・・・・・・悪い人って感じはしないんだけど・・・
とにかく　みんなが待ってる！こんな所にずっといられないよ！)｣
スパナ｢何？｣
ツナ｢！！　あ・・あの・・・みんな・・・外はどうなってるんですか！？｣
スパナ｢外？｣
ツナ｢オレ以外のことです！何か聞いてませんか？｣
スパナ｢・・・？｣
ツナ｢えと・・・それに　あなたの言ってることもよく分からなくて
なんでオレの技を完成させるんですか？ミルフィオーレの人でしょ？｣
スパナ｢一気にしゃべるな｣
ツナ｢え？　あ・・・スイマセン・・・｣
スパナ｢技を完成させるのは　見てみたいからって言ったろ？
あの時あんた殺さなかったのは　キモチ悪くなったんだよね｣
ツナ｢は？｣
スパナ｢モニターごしの殺しは平気だけど　生は嫌だっていうアレだよ｣
ツナ｢何言ってんの！？殺しは全面的にダメでしょ！！
あっ　ス・・・スイマセン・・・！いつものクセでつい・・・｣
スパナ｢・・・・・・外って　この部屋以外のこと？｣
ツナ｢！　そ！そうです！！｣
スパナ｢知らないな　正一はバタバタしてるみたいだけど｣
ツナ｢！！　しょ・・・正一って入江正一のこと！？｣
スパナ｢うるさい｣(銃を向ける)
ツナ｢ス　スイマセン！！
・・・・・・(分かってはいたけど・・・　本当に入江正一はここにいるんだ　すぐ近くに・・・ ！！)｣
スパナ｢でも　正一を攻めに来たんだったらやめた方がいい｣
ツナ｢！｣
スパナ｢高校の国際ロボット大会の頃から知ってるけど　正一は相当キレる
いつも全体を見てる　すごい奴だ｣

一方、入江が廊下を歩いていく。それを小走りで追うチェルベッロ。
チェル｢入江様！アレを使われるのですか？｣
入江｢何か問題があるかい？｣
チェル｢この機密を知るのは　白蘭様と我々と入江様のみ
これを行えば　他の部隊・・・特にブラックスペルからの抗議は必至です｣
入江｢そんなもの　何もせずに失うものよりずっと小さい｣
チェル｢それと　後付けで設置された基地機能はマヒするでしょう｣
入江｢君達は・・・反対なのかい？｣
チェル｢いいえ　私達には入江様の命令が全てです｣
入江｢社交辞令でもうれしいよ｣
マーレリングを壁にかざすと、隠された通路が開く。その先には、１つの匣が置かれた装置がある 。
　
一方、了平とバイシャナ。
絨毯を飛ばして逃げるバイシャナ。
了平｢！バイシャナどこへ行く！！まさか匣兵器を置いて逃げるつもりなのか！！｣
バイシャナ｢だまれ！！どうしようと我の勝手なり！！｣
了平に向かってくる嵐蛇。
了平｢殺生はせん　お前の持ち主と共にしばらく眠ってくれ
ゆくぞ　極限！！マキシマムイングラム！！！｣(キャノンの連打ver.)
吹っ飛ばされた嵐蛇がバイシャナの上に落ちていく。
バイシャナ｢！！のわっ　くっ くるな！！我！！命だけは所望す───！！ぐがっ！！｣
下敷きになってしまうバイシャナ。
山本｢ヒュー　先輩強いな｣
獄寺｢バイシャナ本体弱っ｣
了平｢さあ　次へ急ぐぞ｣

一方入江。
チェル｢入江様　バイシャナの無線反応が消えました｣
入江｢見えているさ　ここにも司令室と同じ情報が映し出される
ボンゴレの連中め　なかなかいいところまで来たが　これまでだ！｣
置かれた匣にリングをはめる。
入江｢さあ　目覚めてくれ
僕の匣　メローネ基地｣
目の前に、基地全体の構造図が映る。無数のブロックが縦横に積み重なったような形をしている。
入江｢炎エネルギー　全ブロック内バイパスへの浸透を確認　可動ブロック移動開始！｣
基地全体を激しい震動が襲う。
チェル｢うっ｣山本｢！｣｢何だ！？｣
ツナ｢ひい！！｣(スパナは平気。幻騎士はちょっと驚いた)
司令室｢じ・・・地震だ！！｣
入江｢連中の位置は分かっている　しかるべきポイントへ連れていってやる　F10ブロックを2-4-2へ｣
山本たちのいた廊下が切れて、上下にスライドされる。
獄寺｢！！｣了平｢なんと｣
山本とラルだけが下に取り残されてしまう。
山本｢床が｣獄寺｢くっ｣了平｢いかん！｣
獄寺｢つかまれ　山本！！｣
山本｢獄寺！！｣
落ちていく部屋の天井が迫ってくる。
了平｢手遅れだ！　腕をもってかれるぞ｣獄寺｢おい！！｣
微妙な笑みを浮かべる山本。
天井が降り、姿が見えなくなる。
了平｢うわっ｣獄寺｢あのバカ！！｣
目の前に壁が落ち、止まった衝撃で倒れてしまう。
獄寺｢ぐわっ｣
了平｢つ・・・うう・・・｣
獄寺｢くそっ　よりによってこんな時に地震とはよ！(壁を叩く)開かねえ！｣
了平｢これではすぐに山本と合流できそうにないな・・・仕方あるまい・・・作戦に集中するぞ　向こうの扉は 白い丸い装置の部屋のはずだ｣
(ｳｨｨｨ・・・)了平｢！開いた！！｣
γ｢なぁ　おい　今の地震・・・一体何なんだ？｣
緊張の走る獄寺。
γ｢！！｣
(煽り・基地大移動が生み出した突然の・・・因縁の・・・邂逅！！)
巻末・近所の工事が毎朝同じ時間に始まるので、それを目覚まし時計がわりにしてます！

Really ultra rough translation, if you know what it probably should say let me know:

Tsuna wonders who Spanner really is, he has a feeling that he isn’t a bad person. He tries to convince Spanner to get out of there with him because everyone is waiting for him. Spanner seems interested in completing Tsuna’s technique cos Tsuna mentions that he wants to see it’s completion. They then talk about Shouichi, Spanner tells Tsuna that if he came there to stop Shouichi he should give up. Spanner says that ever since the international robot competition in high school he knew that Shouichi is an amazing person.

Shouichi is walking down a corridor followed by Cervello who ask him if he is going to use “that” and doesn’t want him to but says they will always follow his order anyway. He wears the mare ring and the concealed pathway opens.

Baishana escapes on a flying carpet. Ryouhei uses his power to stop him and causes Baishana to lay spread on the floor. He asks if he was just going to place the box there and then run away but he won’t allow him to escape.

Shouichi tries to wake the mare box. Then the image appears all over the base. Countless blocks form figures everywhere. He orders the blocks and everyone is astonished by it. The pathway that Yamamoto and the gang is on is cut and starts to slide vertically. Yamamoto and Lal are left at the bottom.

There is what appears to be an earthquake and so Ryouhei decides to stop what he is doing and tries to open the gate. Finally he can open a gate.

- Tsuna tries to ask Spanner if he knows anything about the others (Gokudera, etc.) and why Spanner wants to help him. Spanner says that he'll kill Tsuna once the X BURNER is perfected.
- Spanner warns Tsuna not to go against Shouichi. They first met during a high school international robotics competition, and Spanner knows that Shouichi is very smart and always has a clear view of everything under him.

- Irie has left the command center and is walking down a corridor with the Cervello in tow. He is going to use a secret item, and the Cervello protest because it's so secretive only they, Irie and Byakuran know about it.
- Irie says it's better to use it than to lose everything.
- He then uses his Mare Ring to open a hidden path and at the end of the corridor, there is a machine/installation with a Box.

(Emphasis mine. Irie definately holds the Mist Ring. XD)

- Baishana is running away. Ryouhei is angry. Ryouhei's weapon is Maximum Ingram (the rapid fire version of Maximum Cannon). [* Ingram is a sub machine gun.]
- Baishana and the storm snake are defeated.
- The Vongola boys continue to their next location.

- Cervello reports to Irie that Baishana's comm signal has disappeared. Irie says he knows, because where he is, he can see everything the command room can see.
- Then, he puts his Ring into the Box, and says, "Come, awaken, Melone Base." O____O
- The entire base starts to shake violently and parts (blocks) of the base moves under Irie's control.
- Elsewhere, Ryouhei's group feels the huge earthquake going on as ceiling and floor start to crumble. Tsuna is shocked. Spanner is unmoved. The phantom knight is slightly startled.
- Irie identifies the location of all the intruders. He sends his men to F10 point 2-4-2.

- Ryouhei's group are in dire straits too, with the floor and ceiling crumbling. Yamamoto and Lal fall through the ground. Gokudera tries to help Yamamoto out, but a piece of the ceiling starts to fall. Ryouhei grabs Gokudera away. Yamamoto smiles up at the rest before the ceiling crashes.
- Ryouhei orders Gokudera to carry on with the mission and leave Yamamoto (and Lal) behind. They're already very close to the white round machine.
- They get to the door, and force it open. On the other side, similarly bewildered by the earthquake, is Gamma.
