This I hope is going to be an epic season. Lots of promising animes.

Code Geass is going to at least be good, and I think Macross could be the best. The first episode for Macross was just breath taking great drama, and movie quality animation

There are other good animes on tap as well, I'm just glad we've gotten out of the god forsaking moe crap and harem stuff. We've got action people!

CG 2 for show. But like you said: Fansubs are going to be annoying. I just hope that rumor I heard about it already being licensed is a lie.

CG is licensed, the first season is going to be on Adult Swim. Johnny Yong Bosch is going to play Lelouch which should be interesting, I guess.

I can't picture Johnny Yong Bosch playing Lelouch. He's good, don't get me wrong, but his voice just doesn't fit Lelouch's personality. At least in my mind.

Finally I've been waiting for Macross Frontier for awhile now Code Geass I think I might watch the First season in english while I watch the second with subs. But I'll probably end up watching the subs of season 1 out of impatience:p, and the last one is Soul Eater I believe theres a manga but I rather watch the anime instead. Also I want see if its any good plus it reminds me of Bleach from watching the preview.

Meh pretty straightfoward season >.> Doesn't look like there'll be any surprises either. Prolly gonna go wit code geass, amtasuki (read some of the manga, it's decent enough), Kyouran Kazoku Nikki (looks fun) and gloss through some of the shoujo adaptations; vampire knight was decent enough early on, right now the manga is kinda getting bogged down so babbo's not quite so inclined to watch as he might have. Similiar situation with special A, it's fun but it's not quite amazing. Might check out kanonkon too, read the some of the manga and it was kinda typical but not to the point where babbo wouldn't consider watching it if there's nothing else <.<

Kinda dissapointing when you get down to it, nothing that really attention grabbing aside from CG <.<

Well it all depends on the subbers. I already know the first 4 are definite. The lack of harem and moe and the increase in bishonen makes me mad happy!

I've watched ep 01 of Soul Eater and looks very interesting. It's an action shonen with a lot of echhi and fights, there are even Shinigamis.

The series has 2 airdates per week. One normal version and a special late night version with more stuff and more ecchi. Rumbel seems to be the only group who's doing the extra version. So check it out guys ;)

Yeah Soul Eater's awesome I only watched the raw but I was waiting for another group to release the subs. And I watched both version all thats different is a second eyecatch, and a trailer for the next couple episodes. However, I think the second one starting next week will have something like the Golden Cup from Bleach because all that was said about the second one is that it'll have extra "Special Footage" during the episode.

Even though I kinda wanted more stuff like a uncut version but the only stuff I saw that was cut out of the manga was the full frontal ecchi stuff. So if you want to watch the earlier version its okay you wont miss anything from the second one but the next couple weeks may prove otherwise so I suppose we should wait and see what the extra stuff is in the next episode.

I thought Soul Eater has had the best opening episode of the lot, it certainly grabbed my attention. I don't know if the plot will be anything to write home about, but there was extremely good animation, well paced, had some interesting characters, good music, everything seemed just very well conceived and executed. It also has the by far the best intro and ending imo, great songs along with great animation.

soul eater was so cool. the sub was out a while ago...

it's like bleach x d.gray-man with a little pinch of shaman king. it was great.

it's gotfunny bits and action plus great animation.

You're talking about the normal version which airs on mondays, but there's an extra late night version which airs on fridays which has more content and stuff :)

well i'm dwnldin the 'uncut' version now. it will basically be the same, just with extra scenes right? either way i've already seen the first ep and loved it. i'm sold.

xxxHolic is my addiction of choice for the moment. I love that show so much. Beyond that, I'm not sure what I'm going to go with.

I'm sold as well, it does seem to take some elements from other shonens, but what is so good is that the animation is in hi-def, and overall its completely superior to the other shonens. The only thing that I've heard people complain about in regards to SE is that the main character's voice Maka is a little strange, and that the VA is a debutant and therefore a bit too inexperienced. I thought the voice was fine personally.

Just wait for the upcoming eps and you'll see the awesomeness of some Top Seiyuus. I don't want to spoil too much, but Mamo will be the voice of "Death the Kid" (He was the VA of Yagami Light in DN).

I saw that, apparently the VA for Soul is relatively a debutant as well, but the rest of the cast is pretty top notch, I personally like the voices, I think Maka's is unique which is nice in that I sometimes get tired of hearing the same voices over and over again.

From the new season I'm watching Code Geass R2, The Tower of Druaga, Blassreiter, Vampire Knight and I'll be checking out Kamen no Maid Guy which should be interesting.....

The Tower of Druaga is really great. The first episode was pure comedy and parody of everything. The second was much more serious and quite interesting.

Blassreiter's first episode had some crazy animation, seems quite well put together.

Vampire Knight's first episode starts out slow but I think it has potential.

Meh, I don't know what I'm sticking with this season. Honestly, all of them are on an episode by episode basis. I guess the ones that will more then likely not get dropped are, Code Geass and Kanokon. Watching a couple of more like Special A for example, but yea, they are all kinda on the fence.

So far there are four from this season i'm watching: To love-ru, Kyouran Kazoku, Wagaya no Oinarisama and Maid Guy.
I wasn't expecting Oinarisama to be all that good, but the story seems interesting enough to keep me watching. The others have enough comedy, random sometimes, to keep me hooked, especially Maid Guy, the first episode was just mental.

Zettai Karen Children and Kyouran Kazoku Nikki have both made it onto my watch list. Kamen no Maid Guy is possible, I'll have to give it another episode to decide.
