Hello! I'm Fuzakeru and I'm a beginner in graphic design-y stuffs. I'm a fan of bright colors and uh... yeah. This board seems to be full of really talented artists here so hopefully I can get some very helpful tips and advice from your elite. n_n

I like the first ones, the colors and simple brushing are done nicely. though it tends to get messy in some of the sigs because you over do it with brushes, filters and textures all in one sig. Overall good work. :)

My laptop's wireless card died so I had to send my laptop in to get fixed. D:

I just returned but its for the best really since I was able to take a step back and look at my stuff and I realized I got brush happy.

Tried my hand at returning to my basics. @_@ I got brush happy.

If we're talking basics babbo would suggest simplifying things in the second sig. Taking out the shadows (dropping a shadow off the stock rarely looks good) and the smaller dark checker boxes would make it flat, not to mention brighter so that it goes better with the stock. First one looks pretty damn good, but again the unnecessary low opacity patterns you have going over things kinda hurt.

The text seems big and boring in this one but I wanted it to look like it was crushing her. Apathy weighing her smile down, etc.

Ah well when doubt use your eyes. That might sound simple and possibly concieted, but when babbo looks at that sig his eyes wander around from a lack of concrete focus (due to three patterns stacked up on each other IBO) and sees this incredibly bright colored stock that would only go all to well with some bright colors.

And in any case, when in doubt, simplify. Babbo thinks that's gonna be the one rule that will get babbo through his art classes this semester <.<

On another note that water coming from the hose would be a perfect place to pop some text.

It's a habit of babbo's, if people are willing to take c&c Babbo will give it. Though Babbo does sorta wish someone would take the time to rip apart some of Babbo's sigs <.<

woot they are my noble masters ;D Babbo's stll trying to figure out why he liked that series. Was definitely one of the more enjoyable watches of the winter season. Shakugan no shana II can go die ibo. They wasted too much time with school plays and what not and not enough on actual plot ibo. Though the fight with sabrac was badass... Better than the finale in fact -.-;; [/rambling]

I'm much more proud of the last set I did than my previous work, the TaMNM header behind one of my favorites for some reason, so I personally feel I'm growing. I've had the chance to watch a tut or two so I'll just keep learning and growing and trying. n_n;

Also, yeah. I really, really liked TaMNM! I couldn't really tell you why exactly though... Haha. -shrugs- I guess some things are better left unexplained.

Oop babbo was still talking about the tsubasa sig @.@ In the kissing sig's case babbo would still simplify though. The line patterns you have seem unnecessary on the left at least.

Niceu on the pop up sig, babbo likes the (vector/brush?) patterns. While less isn't really more, it often is better though. The best thing about transparencies is you aren't restricted to boring old rectangles. Babbo would let those patterns stand on their own without that red rectangle going over it. Justifying cut offs is key too, babbo would consider wrapping some of those lines around the lower right.

And tuts are one thing; but nothing can replace just messing around in PS or a sketchbook <.<

definitely see progress here though ;D

Mmm. I'm sure Babbo will say that same about the honeycomb effect on the background of this one. Its a bit busier too... Next sig I try in this style I'll restrain myself from filtering the background and let the color stand alone and see what results I get from that.

Meh better than babbo's screen prolly. Babbo would break the thing over the head of whoever made it, but then he wouldn't be able to do any school work at what not >.>

That halo sig is made of win (fail?) XD Might wanna clean up edges on the stock and soften up those vector shapes though (rasterize them and prolly a guassian blur).

The last three are you're best, the stock interaction and depth is good. The Avril tag is the best of the three, although maybe work on the lighting..
