oooo very nice! It looks really awesome. It's just kinda weird without and lines in the colored version though...I'm thinking if you kept some of the lines, it'd probably be alot cleaner, and alot easier to color. Maybe not. Still, it looks awesome! Did you use a reference?

in chapter 280 there´s a panel with Grimmjow.

I´m not very familiar with photoshop; I´m still learning and actually: I´m a noob -.-
I thought of painting over every line, because I think it looks better this way, but maybe next time I won´t repaint them. ^_^

There's alot of tutorials about converting sketches into lineart...I'm gonna see if I can dig one up for you. You're coloring them with Photoshop, right?

I just scan my drawings, though I´ve black ink (even coloured ink).
But I modify these pencil sketches with the contrast and intensity option in photoshop;
I didn´t do any inking by hand; it´s my pure drawing! ;)

The Grimmjow fanart, p.e. (almost non-colored) is modified with the contrast option in ps; I´ve the original scanned too, but its pencil sketches are obviously lighter! :)

Yes, I plan to draw more in the future (I just now had my FF drawing phase, but it gradually shifts towards Bleach again (because it seems that I´m pleased with the current chapter (finally -__-)) XD).

I use this crosshatchy shading style, because I love drawing with very rough pencils (4H). I want to insert shadows in my drawings, but it´s not that easy with rough pencils, so I use this shading style! ;)

WOAH.

Those are REALLY good. Only comment I'd have...like in your Ichigo one, there's so much detail and shading on the cloak...and yet, his face is stark white. Even on Sephiroth and Rukia, there's only minimal shading...I think it'd match alot better with the detail in the rest of the picture if you added some shading to their faces as well. I mean...Aerith's hair is just...*O*

Um, I actually always shade the faces of the characters I draw (like the nose, the cheeks, eyes etc), but I intentionally altered it with PS after I scanned the fanart, because as soon as I alter the intensity the faces get too dark and I don´t like that; that´s why I extra colour them white afterwards.

Maybe I won´t do this next time, but I didn´t like it until now, so---

Another aspect is: I always use very rough pencils (4H, 5H and even 6H; it´s like I´m scratching/ engraving the paper XD) and that´s why it´s not easy to shade faces properly => it looks somewhat odd if you shade faces with cross-hatching imo.

Yeah, 6H, but just infrequently. For the pic above I used 5H. But as I wrote before: I´m really engraving the paper XDD that´s why you easily see places where I had to erase pencil lines etc., just because the paper is deformed O___o

Incredible. Awesome job! lol@zack's eye liner though. :p Aerith is GORGEOUS. And hmm...honestly, their faces all look kinda similar. I don't know if that's just because I just got out of horrific traffic in the afternoon sun, but it seems to me that the only thing differentiating all three of them is their hair. I may be completely wrong though, so don't listen to me. XD

@xeno: xD I tend to draw rather feminine FF characters, don´t know why, but it´s just fun! xD (and men in general have lips as well and eye-lashes too; I made them thinner, but if you observe the CG art by SE you´ll notice that they have accentuated lips and eye-lashes, but I should try to figure out, how I can draw them more masculin in the future xP). And they don´t have the same faces....T___T Aerith´s nose can almost pierce somebody, she also has thicker lips a s well...I made Cloud´s face younger, because he´s only 16 in CC, so....;__;

@Zikky: I won´t ink the above fanart, it´s too much efforts (all these hairs) and I´ll surely ruin my fanart in the process, because I´m just not used to ink them (though I have lots of ink at home, even coloured ink.....). But I can darken the pencil lines with PS; I´ll do this and upload the altered version of it, alright and then you can decide if it´s okay or not. I´d very much appreciate it if you´d colour them!! That´d be awesome!! :love:love
