I've only ever seen the TV show on the Sci-Fi Channel. The show was solid, though not fantastic. However, I'd probably be interested in checking out the books, especially considering how often original fiction exceeds the derivatives thereof in quality.

The books are way better then the show. The show really fucked up. I am also in the middle of reading deadbeat.
