However bright our
Sun may be half this Earth will
Sleep in the darkness

Flashlights and candles
We all come across new light
Sitting in the dark

Looking to the sky
I can only dream from where
My next star will shine

add me to it ^^ great haiku(s)

finally 3 haikus ~ (i cant imagine if u only write a haiku and torture us)
what i can make out from the poem is... about placing hope to continue on living? more or less a motivational poem. that's how i look at it~

well I know you're my most devoted fan mel :yay XD mmm, i like that interpretation~ It's mostly just about realizing that you can only try so hard before realizing you can't change things, and allowing things to happen for you ;3

yeah, i am :yell lol.

i was that close >.> so it's like the phrase "come what may" i think. lol, me and my friends like to say that when we've gotten in problems and just wait for whatever tht may happen as the consequences. *saved it*

mmmhm, that's a lot like Nankuranaisa when I think about it too ^^ "Live for today, but always look forward to tomorrow"... real good message from Blood+... whoever says cartoons are bad doesn't watch enough anime... lol

but we have 'hakuna matata' from lion king too :hm

hm, anime is like the animated version of real life dramas or movies...except that it allows more slapstick/ridiculous actions ;p but i always love the philosophies the writers put into their anime. really thought provoking...and disturbing at some point~

mmmhm... I wish they were more popular in the US... the children here are raised on MTV, porno, and spongebob, rather than shows they can learn from or develop personality and opinions on life/society from x.x hakunamatata is a good example too XD mmm... you should make a thread for favorite cartoon/anime quotes XP
