Great episode! Judging from the preview, next episode's going to be so awesome! I can't wait till 2 weeks later. :) I wonder how they are going to postpone the HM arc from there? Hope they don't ruin it.

Not a bad episode...The animation wasn't awesome but it was still okay...I was hoping Grimm v Ulqui would have some filler to make it into a proper fight :D But alas no...

Judging by the preview, next week is gonna have AMAZING animation! Cannot wait.

where was gran rey cero ??!!! so disapointed ! i know it was there, i mean that they didn't make it scary like kudo did !
i didn't really like this weeks animation but the net ep is really going to be awesome, just like ep 121, the first Ichi Grimm fight !

The blue cero was the Gran rey I think.

Yup the animation wasnt too great...but the characters seemed fine.

It's interesting to see what the anime team does in terms of color. I never imagined those towers being red like that. At least the negacion thing didn't end up looking like a breath strip :-_-

Hmmm... It was a good episode...but not perfect.
Ichigo is drawn very well, the others - are not.
But Ichigo is sooooo lame. *sorry, Ichi, but it's true >_>* I've been lawling at "WAIT, KITTY!" since that manga chapter...and I'm still lawling xD
The 'Matrix: Reloaded' during Gran Rey Cero attack is....is....just.....argh.... I have no words:facepalm

I'm looking forward to Grimm's release... Honestly... I always thought it would fail... But animation seems to be really good. Grimm looks badass.:D The only problem is a crazy censorship. It's gonna spoil everything.....

Well this was another Great episode the animation was decent I got better during the Jugulaters1&2 part The Gran Ray Cero animation and color was well done. However It went to fast and was kinda crappy I was expecting that scene to last at least a minute and half and show the Mega Blast for awhile. Well I hope the preview was actually showing a cap of the whole fight not just the next episode because I saw the part were Ichigo says"It looks like I cant get hurt anymore sorry Grimmjow." So that'd be half the fight in one episode but the animation in the preview looked really great too bad we have to wait till 4/9 to watch it so here's hoping that the preview was giving us a glimpse at all the episodes not just the next. I guess I'll catch up on some other shows in the time being

Well this battle should be about three episodes. I didn't expect it to go that fast though. Hopefully they extend some of the fighting scenes with Grimm and Ichigo on the next episode.

Wow I just looked at that and the anime actually didn't change anything the Gran Ray Cero wasn't a beam. But a Blast as you can see in the next page were it shows the Cero from our(grimms) point of view flying towards Ichigo and Orihime. Still it was to fast for my taste I hope they show that part again in the beginning of the next episode but make it last slightly longer.

Yeah but it varies every other episode so its okay most of the time I only hope by the time it gets to the States which has the dvd version of the show has fixed up animation.

And so it begins!!! I'm loving how the Ichi/Grimm fight is going so far, and I can't wait to see Grimmjow's release next week....wait....what? Next episode airs in two weeks? :yell Oh, come on!!!! It was just starting to get really good!!!! *sigh*

The animation in this episode was pretty good, but I think next episode's will be even better.

well...three minute recaps are back...hooray..? imo the gay-looking mask killed it all. the mega-cero also looked nothing like in the manga, n the KGT/cero collision looked like old-school animation.

Long running series never have consistencies. Different animators do different episodes. It's not that it's getting sloppier by the day, just that for this episode different people did it.

Finally saw it.

Animation wasnt as good as I expected. I guess they left the good animation for the next part of the fight... which sucks cause we gotta wait two weeks. And it really sucks cause the animation for the next one looks REALLY badass.

And I guess Im the only one who's got no complaints about the Gran Rey Cero. I thought it looked really cool. Love it when things are fast paced, makes the fights more enjoyable.

Looks like a decent episode. Couldn't really tell any horrible spots, but I did jump through a lot of parts. As usual, I'll leave the final verdict till I watch the subs.

I just noticed that Ichigo still hasn't lost the red lining on his Bankai. After all this time, I think it's going to say that way and that's just how it will be in the anime...

Totally, I was soo looking forward to that part of the manga. Grimmjow cutting his finger(s) and then being all proud to be able to shoot the Gran Rey Cero which looked finger-licking in the mange and like a regular Ulquiorra Cero in the anime.

Come on animators! When are you going to show some lovin' to Grimmjow again?! It's been a hell of a long time! And yeah, in two weeks 'good' animation won't cut this deal!:yell

i seriously went all Darth Vader when Ulquiorra got put in Kana Negacion (again :cry) by going all "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"

animation this episode was kinda crappy, to be honest. Next episode looks a tad better though, so here's to hoping. Also i didnt think Ichigo's mask looked half as stupid as the last times they've done it. Maybe it's cause they did the eyes different or something.

personally i liked it aside from the early sword fighting. and i actually appreciated the Gran Rey Cero. went by too fast, but still looked good. the pace is still too fast. what was it ? 3 chapters in this episode ? that's even with adding the Rukia getting impaled scene which i don't remember was in the manga. oh, and the other interesting thing for me was the shrinking eyebrows on Grimmjow. at points it looked almost non-existant with the close ups to his face.

and seeing this now, Grimmjow's GRC being the same color as Ulquiorra's cero he hit Ichigo with, it kinda makes a bit more sense how Ichigo stopped it with his mask on. as in he's already seen and dealt with that attack before. don't know, that's the somewhat of the logic i put behind it and not just some out of nowhere powerup. seeing this in color kinda helps a bit. seriously, i can't complain much about this episode. i'm thinking it certainly could have been really worse!

Turned out an alright episode. The music selection wasn't the best. >.> The animation was meh.

On the good side, the pacing and style was great. There is still hope for the next episodes. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Another thing I noticed, Ishida's outfit wasn't all randomly shredded when he appeared at Renji's fight. lol.

The pacing seemed kinda brisk at first, but that's probably only because I'm used to the way it's shown in the manga. It was pretty good.

The pacing was fast but it's still about 2 chapters so they are about going the same. So still going on with the story from the preview. Should be very interesting to see how they switch to fillers.

Yeah the fillers will start at one of these points either after the fight which should be 3-4 episodes or if they go till 170 then it end when someone transforms but since it said the fillers starts in April the end of the fight is more likely.

It was a pretty good episode~ I think Grimmjow was mostly pretty well drawn, while in a few shots he looked strange, and in a few other shots he was drawn nicely. Again, Suwabe did a great job with Grimmjow's voice acting. :love I think the whole episode was decently drawn throughout; for example, I don't remember Ulquiorra looking strange in any of his shots in this episode. Ichigo looked pretty good too, and so did Orihime, Nel, etc.

The animation was...well, could've been better, but it wasn't too bad. :) The next one looks much better in terms of animation. Judging by the preview Grimmjow's release looks very nice animated. :love:love:love

The shinigami cup was made of LOL and awesome :rotflmao Shuuhei is hot~ I liked his expressions (and his almost naked hawt body :p) <3 Strangely Nanao didn't look too happy XD

Too bad we'll have to wait two weeks for the next one, though... oh well, I can wait!..I hope :lmao I assume the fillers will come after this fight.

I couldn't wait until this episode came out...but now I'm disappointed because I have to wait two weeks for the REALLY good stuff. Oh well, it'll be worth the wait!

I love the Shinigami cup though. Hisagi looked so excited XD But count on Matsumoto to take it too far. Poor Kira. :rotflmao

Anyway, this episode was all right. The animation wasn't the best, but it was tolerable. I still have issues with that red mask, but eh, I'll deal.

I really didn't like the shots where Ichigo's and Grimmjow's faces were close-up. It reminded me of Face on Nickolodeon XD

Nothing happened to the Gran rey Cero its just everyone expected it to be a energy Beam like the normal Ceros. But remember it translates to Flash of the Hollow King, and it was a Flash in all aspects even more so than the Normal Ceros. Also if you look at the second page in the manga after he fires it off its not a energy beam its a energy Blast. But I do agree it could have been longer and more awesome then it turned out to be.

Well if Kubo is taking a break after chapter 315 to do background of characters, they should at least animate up to that chapter since that's the end of the HM arc. I know anime isn't supposed to catch up with manga but it's going to look weird having random filler pop up in the middle of the HM arc, oh well not point in arguing.

Eh to smirl you have to have atleast one side of your face risen, Ulquiorra didn't have either in the anime or the manga... He had his, "I-can't-believe-I-was-outsmarted-by-Grimmjow-of-all-people" face
