Personal note: I liked the episode, it is cute and actually might give a nice little arc. Hitsugaya understood finally there is really something wrong about name calling on Kurosaki family.

Holy crap. The animation for the Hollow fight, even though it was a really short one, was awesome. The best I've been in a filler episode.

That was better then I thought an episode with that title could ever be. Infact, that was better the the last 4 episodes put together.
I do hope Karin meeting the shinigami doesn't screw up any plans Kubo has for the future of the story. Good thing memories can be erased in Bleach. Ha.
The animation was nice and smooth through the whole thing. Hitsu's entrance to the soccer field cool. Hitsu fighting the crazy cool looking hollow at the end even cooler. The newest remix of number 1 was interesting. The timing for most of the music was really good.
Preview also looks really good. Looks like there is a new team for the story or something. lol. Or the current team is actually trying now.

Damn, the fillers sound interesting from what Velius told us.
I'll check it out at a later time.

I havne't seen any of the new fillers, (I don't have time... :( ) but from what everyone is saying, it seems this one was very interesting. I might just watch them today. :)
Is it just me or after clicking the link, it takes forever to load?

I'm pretty sure Kubo has to green light things like that. They can't go all crazy in the fillers.

One of his interviews he said he gets the anime before it airs on TV. Another one said he does the character designs for them so they can copy it exactly like he wants it.
I would say he is more involved with the anime team than any other mangaka.

That filler was way better than that Matsumoto and that kid's filler. o.O;
And I thought I'd never see the day where Hitsu would play soccer. *laugh*
I actually liked this filler episode.

Exactly. I am pretty sure it is in very same method George Lucas use. Developers of games writes scenerio, George Lucas approves to fit in expanded universe. I used to remember, even adding 1 single quest to Star Wars Galaxies online game was requiring 3 months of approval from George Lucas.
Anyway, point is, Fillers never been clashing to canon. Even in whole Bount arc, most info revealed of Soul Society and captains were from already released manga chapters. It would be no different than saying "Rukia's Shikai shown in OVA is not real"
*LOVE*
This filler is so awesome!!! I love Hitsugaya. It reminded me of how much I love him.

Wow. What a great episode this is, and a nice filler at that. I really hope Kubo will add this as official canon to the manga as a side-chapter. :)
All the scenes were excellent, especially when Hitsugaya reminisces the times he and Hinamori had while watching the sunset. The fight with the huge hollow was also great, when Hitsu froze its left arm with the sickle part of his zanpaktou and tore it off with one fluid motion. All this while with tiny bits of ice raining around them. ^^
And speaking of Karin, now she knows more about shinigamis, plus Hitsugaya and Matsumoto. Anyway, I really like to think they didn't erase her memories about them, a shame if it happened. Finally...I'm guessing whether the filler quality next week with Ikkaku be as good this week or turns out as blah. Plus, nice ED theme this week, with nice animation on the future arc, however I don't think the singer's voice is too high-pitched like everyone says.

I'd like to add this:
http://i63.photobucket.com/albums/h136/b0redomness/Bleach-132-28.jpg
This scene was kinda funny, because it was sunny, then it got cloudy when the hollow came, and then when the clouds went away, the sun started to set.
There were three, three sunset scenes in episode 132. This spanned three days, I guess.
EDIT: And I do think the HitsuHina fans will screech at Karin for that scene above. XD
Well, because when she first meets Hitsu, it was day #1, then second meet #2 other day asked for join with other boys, one week later game happened #3.
It was a time period of a week in this episode.

This was a very enjoyable episode. I love Hitsugaya even more now. I laughed at the part where he appeared in the dust...so cool xDDD. Oh, shippers of HitsuHina will prob like that flashback, and do i sense a new ship coming (HitsuKarin)? Lol.... this episode made up for the phail that was the previous episode.

The main questions should be: How the hell can Hitsugaya be such a soccer pro. I doubt he's practicing in SS, on his break.
But the ep itself was really not that bad. Especially the animation was nearly too good to be filler.

I was also surprised by the animation quality. It was funny to think that the fluidness of the animation in this episode was better than some of the canon episodes.

Actually, I'm thinking they can do pretty much whatever they want during the fillers. I don't think they have to put anything past Kubo. There has already been a couple of plotholes because of this. Where they make an event in the fillers and it screws up the story later of something Kubo hasn't written yet. What I'm talking about >
At the start of the Bount arc, everyone gathered in Ichigo's room. After that a bit later in the manga when Inoue went to Ichigo's room when no one could see or touch her, she commented that it was the first time she had ever been in Ichigo's room. That isn't the case anymore in the anime. So that line is going to have to be changed. Probably to something like "this is the first time I have ever been in Ichigo's room alone with him". :/
Little lines like that, that mess up the story. Nothing big really, but it could be. We don't know what Kubo will do with Karin later on.

Don't feel bad. It's still fillers. Even good filler, is still filler. All I'm asking for a little effort like this episodes. There was no excuse for the previous ones IMO.
Velius, can you please tell me which episode and which minutes/seconds that scene you mentoined in spoiler was in? I can't seem to remember such thing.

cute episode, I absolutely loved it. want to watch it again actually, and it's a nice break from the manga/canon anime actually, with everything getting so serious.
If I remember correctly the next couple of eps had titles that implied some sort of humor, I hope they stay along the same lines, and I'm also glad these fillers aren't looking like they're heading into a year long crappy plot like the bount arc.
yup. I'm happy

Woh. This ep is getting some major praise, especially for being filler. I'll actually have to check this out!
scoped the preview for next week, and wow! Quality animation in filler?! What is the world coming to?!

Yes, I would expect these final episodes of filler (hopefully) to jump in quality story and animation wise. The days are going by quick, story wise.
I can't actually wait for the next episode. One thing that worries me is the overuse of Bankai during these episodes. When they use it so freely against every little weak enemy, it lessens the effect of it overall. Similar to how Rukia doing so much fighing during the Bount arc, lessened the effect of her scene when she killed D.roy.
But I guess they have to impress somewhat. At least Hitsu didn't go bankai in this episode.

There comes to the question, against so powerful enemies (Espada, Arrancar etc.) , did shikai any useful anymore?
Obviously it is a good thing, just for a Huge Hollow Hitsugaya did not use his bankai. But still even for last filler arrancar, with limiters on, I feel it was still necessary to go bankai.

That may be true, but nevertheless, it will lessen the effect of it when it is used against actual enemies. I know there is no way going around it, bankai is how fights are fought and won. But against these puny hollows, it just seems like overkill to me, even if the first one was an arrancar.

It cracked me up when one of Karin's friends called Hitsugaya a midget and he got pissed. Good memories from FMA. XD
