i want to share some poems i wrote~ :)
It's Alright
*i wrote this poem for a friend who attempted suicide 2 years ago. just thinking to post it here too* ^^
“It’s alright” she said,
But her eyes were wrapped with tears,
“I’m ok” she said,
I can see her smiling- almost jeers,
“It’s like rainy days, my anthem”,
Her hands reaching for answers,
“The world is bigger than my problems”
Finally she’s getting to her senses,
I told her it’s alright to cry,
A right no one can pry,
What irony it is to cry,
With a smile curved in sly,
Next day I found her lying,
Not with bloody wrists or tied neck,
The tears formed were drying,
Her eyes were ‘alive’ and not faked.
Take a breath
*a recent poem written out of nowhere*
Take a breath and smile
Place a faith from miles
Break a beat and flow
Chances come in slow
Pause a while to see
How you come to be
How the lines are built
Before we all can fit
Now ask yourself in return
For all things won’t churn
Things happen with all causes
With your consent, who else’s?
Chances come to redeem
The failure in life it seems
So take a breath and smile
And place your faith from miles
