So..Official Bleach Music Discussion you say? That's right..here you can get all your bmd <--bleach music discussion from now on. whether you have questions about certain tracks used in the series or want to know where to get it..ask here.

Oh and just to give birth to a discussion... I really like the first OST (from the SS arc) and some of the recent stuff from the arrancar arc is pretty good, I <3 the spanish theme they have going on.

The second OST, from the bounto arc, I kinda despise and it irritates me that they still use music from it in the current arc. >_> Tho there is one exception, "Torn Apart", a really good track imo. =3

Bleach generally lacks "Heroic" or "Enthusiastic" musics, no, I don't count "Number 1" as music.

Possibly by OST3 we can hear some of them, such as in anime that is used at ending of Inner fight while Hollow Ichigo about to explode.

There were a few 'heroic' songs in the first season though, like 'Destiny Awaits'.
Shame we got the lame version of it on the OST. >_<

Some of the ost's from the movie were pretty good. I wonder for the ost 3 if they will put in the ones they missed from the beginning like when Ichigo attacks Grand Fisher. I really like that one and it would be a shame if they never put it in.

I was a big fan of the spanish guitar music...hope they have more of that on upcoming ost releases.

I'm not sure if any of the spanish guitar music will be on the next ost, which I believe is the 3rd. Maybe the one after it, the 4th, might have it. If the OSTs will go exactly by seasons, then it might even be longer then that, which is lame.

After going back an actually listening :D, yes, you're correct xeno. So more then likely there will be all the music from the arrancar arc. I'm not exactly sure why I thought it was by season. :nuts

I hope that when OST 3 comes out that they put in the music that plays when Ichigo pulls the sword out of himself and attacks Shirosaki. As well as the music that plays when Ichigo attacks Grand Fisher, Karin wins the ball, and various other times it was used. I really like them and it's a shame it hasn't been released yet. The only two songs i like are on the precipie of defeat and nothing can be explained

The rest are cool to listen to when watching the anime and reading the manga, but they are the only two i'd listen to seperately.

I'm starting to dislike the use of jazzy music in Bleach, it doesn't suit the series at all.

It's perfectly fine in a show like Darker Than BLACK but not in Bleach in my opinion. >_>

I miss the first OST, that one was brilliant.

I think the "jazzy" music is kinda supposed to be the theme music for the Vizards, doncha think? It seems like whenever it's playing, at least one of them's around.
I think it fits them pretty well, even if it's not reeeally to my tastes. It's as legitimate of a decision as putting the awesome Spanish themes for the arrancar & Hueco Mundo (which I luuuuurve, by the way. Please God, let them release the Spanish-ness on the next OST! o.o)

Yes that's what I thought but meh, I still don't think it suits Bleach at all.

At least there is still some songs from the first OST around. Those were all great and were perfect for bleach. I do indeed wish there was more of them still used, but oh well.

Can anyone confirm? I know we're due. We always get a new OP every 25-26 episodes and a new ED every 13-14. So yeah. I'm getting really sick of this one. And I'm totally stoked about Asian Kung-Fu Generation doing an OP. I hope it's as awesome as the one they did for FMA.

Yeah...I find it kinda amusing that Bleach is now following in the footsteps of many of its contemporary shounen series (FMA, Naruto...) and having one of the many theme songs be performed by Asian Kung-Fu Generation. ;P But I can't wait just like you guys--it's gotta be awesome, after all (necessity for the opening for the HM Arc)!
But w/ the ending, I dunno about that Atari Kousuke...>.> I heard some songs; he doesn't seem to suit Bleach that well, let's say...

I downloaded Xemnas_Superior's rip a moment ago from Jushiro's link - I'm loving the Latin vibes on the first few tracks. :) Thanks for the link!

Just a note: slight mistake in the composer's name. In the "artist" field of the ID3v# tags of this particular rip, it should be Shiro Sagisu, not Shoji Meguro. The former is Bleach's longtime composer, and the latter is the Persona 3 game music composer.

EDIT: I wonder what native Spanish speakers are going to think of the last track, "ola! Arrancar Remix!!" - there's quite a lot of spoken Spanish in it. Based on my pathetic high school-level Spanish, I think there were a lot of bad words - perhaps this is not a track to play in front of your parents. XD

Thanks for confirming my suspicions. LOL, why did they think another track of guys yelling bad words was a good idea for the OST? (Did OST II sell really well because of Nas-T dropping the f-bomb every other second? :eek:)

Some of the Latin-inspired tracks in the beginning didn't seem very familiar to me. I'm so glad they included the haunting music from Orihime's confession scene, Ichigo's inner-hollow battle music, Rukia's shikai music, and the fun jazzy Vizard themes later on.
