Favourite Anime OST?

I did a similar thread in the game section so might as well make one here. =3

My personal favourites are Bleach (mainly the first one, the second one from the bounto arc wasn't really my style, except for 'Torn Apart'), Naruto, and lastly, the .hack//sign OST which, hands down, is the best OST I've ever heard. =3

My favorite one in all anime osts so far is Rave's (Groove adventure Rave) who didn't hear its osts he/she really missed awesome osts
The second one is Bakumatsu Kikansetsu Irohanihoheto..its osts are really gorgeous..they move your feeling ^ ^
And I have lots of favorite anime osts and bleach one of them of course.. my best ost in bleach is torn apart in ost 2

I have a lot of favourite OSTs. Although, sometimes I only like one or two songs and not the whole album itself =P. Anyways, here are some of them:-

1)Naruto OST 1-3, I'm still waiting for them to release some other songs that were not included.

2) Bleach OST1. Didn't like the bounto music in OST2 *shudders*

3) hack//sign

4) Elfen Lied

5) Death note

6) FLCL

7) FMA

urrm...and many many more >_>. Current obsession is the op1, ed1 of darker than black and op1,ed1 of claymore =P.

Fooly Cooly ftw! The only show that has all actual songs for it's ost. I'm not a big fan of backround music. I like the ones with words. :D At least I wouldn't listen to backround music for fun.

As for an actual ost, I would go with Death Note. All three of them rock. Some really awesome and unique music in that show.

Naruto OST I-III (All of them are great. :3)
Tsubasa Chronicle OST - Future Soundscape I-II (Very nice music. Beautiful melodies.)
GetBackers OST (The music is awesome.)
Magic Knight Rayearth OST (The kind of anime music you don't hear everyday. It's old-fashioned in a way and fits the anime perfectly.)
Final Fantasy Unlimited Music Adventure Verse 1-2 (Nice music, I like it.)
Elfen Lied OST (It's good.)
One Piece OSTs (They're excellent. I love them.)

I also like D.Gray-man OST and the tracks that I've heard from Death Note; I should definitely hear more of it.

I have a few favourites, those are:

Cowboy Bebop: World Class OST. Clearly that much of the budget of the series went to the sound director.

Samurai Champloo: Same as CB. That's how OST's should be

Naruto: Has some good tunes, and far better than the Shippuuden Sequel

Saiyuki (Classic): That's an OST i like to hear to, when i want to listen to an anime soundtrack.

About Bleach: It fits the series very well, but it's none of the OST's you want to listen to without watching the series, just like movie OSTs

Others have good Osts, but the Trinity Blood ost is just beautifull. The Songs with lyrics are ok, but i like the none singing songs like: "Grief" "Trinity Blood(theme)" "Rosencreutz orden" "despair" even better.

As i've said they're just beautifull for the moments theyre used.



If for Jpop: Then i'd say Full Moon Wo sagashite does a really good job

Full Metal Alchemist soundtrack was mindblowing for me. It is completely unequalled I says. It has drama, sadness, action, comedy, all kinds of emotions and it just sounds fantastic!!

Gundam Seed and Seed Destiny had great soundtracks too. Its around the level of FMA but I just prefer FMA more.

Karas - Hope people know this. Produced by Tatsunoko, it has an insane soundtrack. Perfect, like FMA I'd say. Its only an OVA but its BIG BIG BIG BIG budget and the graphics are awesome, so of course the music is too!

FLCL - Oh my gawd, definitely one of the best OST albums out there ever. Doesn't help that it's basically all songs by the Pillows. :p

Bleach - Awesome instrumentals and whatnot, that fit perfectly with the anime.

Samurai Champloo - Sickest beats ever. XD

Air Gear - Awesome techno, pumping up music.

Wow, I'm surprised nobody's mentioned "Read or Die" OVA's OST yet. That's my all-time favorite OST. Here's my list:

Ruroken OST = EPIC :fu and Kekkaishi = electronic-fast beat and rap; that made AWESOME!!! :wtf these 2 OSTs are from the same composer, Iwasaki Taku.
