^^ just thought i'd mention it, there arn't many mecha anime that are worth watching ever since the end of the gundam serieses...
But this!

this is a story about a girl called Amami Haruka who auditions to be a idol pilot by mistake think the word "idol" meant like a movie star or somthing.
She was then accepted, and brought into a huge earth protection comapny.
the comapny used mecha known as Idols, and currently has 2 at the start of the sotry.
Imber - a high preformance idol that no one could move untill the new girl arived
Nebula - the work horse of the company.
The pwoerful Idol known as imber suddenly begins to move when Amami gets herself into danger, and the huge robotic idol launches itself to her rescue.
the story thenprogresses adding more characters, more Idols and moew action, its has good animation and dialog is very good. the story isnt just mecha fight scenes and has some emotional storyline and good conversations.
its easy to understand and has a 8.5 / 10 rating.
so give it a watch, its on crunchyroll in low quality for anyone just wanting to give it a try.
