Who is your favorite Disney Leading Villain?

Ok wow this is really hard, so many awesome villains XD I had to go with Hook though, he made me laugh but is badass, is a pirate and the way he yells at Smee (spelling?) is awesome haha. Great character all round xD

Cruella has a great name, it is the only name so far that says "Yes she is evil". And, what I like in her is the way she got owned lol, hard to explain, but I enjoyed her for some reason. But Hades ftwz.

I would go with Ursuhal after seeing that huge like plushie shaped doll thing over taking the ice in a Disney on Ice production (seriously it was so freeking awesome must have taken a whole year to make). Then again I don't think she's my fav villian.

Oh man...this has got to be by FAR the toughest question ever asked. So many awesome villains, but which one is themost extreme? Captain Hook is pretty wicked (with a mustache as bad-ass as that one, you better believe it...I'm not going to even touch his outfit) and Gaston also ranks up there (he eats 5 dozen eggs for breakfast, nuff said)... But who takes the cake? I'm gonna have to go Ursula. She cheated! TAT And stole her man!!! Aw hell naw...

Oh, definitely Scar. He's a far better antagonist than you find in a LOT of animated things. Sure, his reason for villainy was a little lacking (then again, it's a pretty common occurrence for Disney), but his execution more than made up for it. I mean, he killed Mufasa, but mentally manipulated Simba to make him think he did it. Thus, of course, causing Simba to run in shame, leaving the title of ruler over to him. Then even when Simba came back, he just kept fucking with his mind until the very end.

Most Disney villains are pretty much incompetent and hide behind either some sort of invention, magic, or lackeys while they bitch behind the scenes. But Scar? Sure, he had lackeys, but his real tool was psychological warfare. It's funny, because he's a LION for god's sake, but he was by far the most interesting and intelligent Disney villain that I've seen. :hm

Oh, Judge Claude Frollo was another disney villain that was better then most of the usual disney villains IMO. Of course, the book was different and all. Although I still think there was some lacking in him...but was still better then some.

Oh, this is tough. I really like Scar and John Silver. Scar although evil, have a good character base. John Silver, I like him too because he can cook and has awesome mechanicals planted as his arm. He also have a soft spot, which makes him more realistic as a character. Hmm . . . :hm

It was a close one between Shan Yu and Yzma, but in the end I chose Shan Yu. He was actually menacing, which is rare in Disney movies. Yzma is the typical, bumbling Cruella de Ville, but I liked The Emperor's New Groove, so I liked Yzma.

That was harder than I thought :lmao I went with Jafar. He was always the coolest villain to me (I always thought his cape was incredibly awesome when I was like...four :sweat). I remember having a toy version of his snake staff (which I got from Disneyland! :yell) that I loved XD

This was a tough decision to make, for there were many amazing characters to select. But my favorite leading villain in a Disney film is Maleficent, from Sleeping Beauty. I thought her role as the main enemy was portrayed with such flair. Maleficent supplied exquisite touches of elegance and sophistication, while maintaining the customary baleful witticism. Those were attributes I personally considered appealing, which enabled me to admire this character more.

Definitely Scar. I was young when The Lion King came out and I can't recall hating a character as much as I hated him. He was everything you want in a bad guy. Smart, manipulative and was just an overall well designed character.

I always liked Shere Khan from Jungle Book as well. Not too sure why either.

Frollo indeed. He was a nearly perfect villian, I hated the way he treated Quasimodo but he made one of my favorites scenes on a Disney film, the fireplace one. It was awesome, he had such passion for Esmeralda. I still remember the song he sang and I still tremble when I hear it.

I loved the Lion King, and I cried so much because of Mufasa's death. Scar is awful, The Disney villian for me, smart, manipulative, ready for everything to reach its aims. And his song in the movie, his voice, everything around him freaked me out. I hated him so much, I think he's the villian I hated the most in a Disney movie.

Hades all teh way. He's one of my favorite Disney villains -- He has a sense of humor! There isn't quite a Disney baddie who has unintentional humor as much as Hades. And he's funny the way he's so angry at Hercules, yet when he gets evil, he gets evil. Plus, the "I OWN YOU!!" and "Zeussy! I'm hooome!" parts are stuck in my mind for years. I guess that makes Hades a memorable Disney character :lmao
