For a while the wandering plus of this area walked free in the living world with no encounter from inhabitants of the other side. But such times may just be cut short it seems.

Yukiko lurked the night. It was now her territory, as black as her ink was. The scar on her hand hurt a little and she hissed.

And then smiled. Those were nice days. Now, that she's healed, she may run the streets anew.Pity she hasn't seen her friend yet. maybe he ran away?

Yukiko stopped. Somewhere in front of her, there were souls. She slowly came nearer.

They were two. A sister and a brother. They were quite old, in their mid-twenties, but they were just sitting there, watching the surface of a lake.

"Hey there. Are you alright?" she asked them. They didn't turn their head. Neither of them.

It had been a while since she last visited the living world. Well...of course considering what happened last time she did. But duty calls when duty calls, so here she was. Hopefully it would go without much incident.

It had been a long while since Julia had last visited the living world. Being a menos and all, it held so much little importance now a days. But it couldn't hurt to visit and reminisce about the taste of human souls. She spotted what she deemed the tastiest of the bunch and went for it, there was one of those live ones next to it too boot!

"Hey human, move aside. I require a snack."

[Mystic Serenade]

Ah just her luck, a human. And not just any human, a feisty aggressive human.

"And here I was thinking hollows would be a problem. Sorry human, no time to play. Bye byes."

And with that she scampered off into a nearby ally.

(Mai flees from soul #4)

She sensed someone coming. It was... no, it wasn't her friend from before.

She didn't know this feeling. So Yukiko sat in the middle of those two and whispered...

"I won't let them get you."

They didn't look at her, but she didn't need them to. She was resolved to protect them from anything.

Yukiko just doesn't change.

"Well well, looks like he listened."

So with that she ate the soul.

"Bleh, still tastes like crap."

And with that she returned to Hueco Mundo for the moment.

Checking to see if it was safe for the moment, Mai headed to another soul

Need to train more when I get back to Soul Society...train a lot more.
