lol not praising my art though, just my randomness... lol Well I guess I can post some of my work from dA here ^^ These are characters I'm working on for my new manga, I'll post the explanation for it soon ^^

This is Kelli, one of the main characters on Michah's team. Like in any good story, she's the one who's madly in love with the star, but just doesn't have the guts to say so. This doesn't describe her personality, though, which is quite quick-witted and short-tempered ^_^

As you can see in the pic, her ability is the Power Fist, the ability to accelerate particls around her hands and knock you down with the strength of about a speeding train.

I'm happy with my colouring results, it was especially hard to get the lighting to look right... I think I'm improving, which is good!

Hello everyone, I am 14 years old school student. I love drawing; sketching, painting but I don’t have any idea about this. I want to draw just having troubles getting started basically. Also I don’t have any guide but I want to be a famous painter in future. So I need your help. Does anyone else get a block when it comes to drawing or sketching? What do you do when you know what you'd like to draw just can't put it on paper?

If you wan't to draw Anime / Manga art, or somthing similar the best Guides can be bought at any normal bookshop. or Visit

then in the search bar search for Crysa and Geoffffff they have made guides for the public to use that are brilliant.


If you want to get good at still life pictures, sutch as scetches that look like real people. You should try drawinging your friends, or parents. once you get the hang of drawing people and actions and movement and bodys etc.

then you can start painting, i would surgest (suggestion from thantos???)

that you black line yhr drawing outline, with a thin brush, then fill in each section as a hole, so it looks like a coloured into line drawing, then paint over the black lines, do some blending and shading. untill you get the master peice you want.


As for having or running out of insperation. The best way is to remember what inspired you in the first place... then re visit it, or find somthing similar.

Sutch as my first drawings where inspired by Anime.

and now my drawings are inspired by bleach.

So tbh you gotta go about it your own way.

But most books on painting and drawing you can find at a book shop for normal decent prices^^. if not you can always try amazon for book people recoment to you.
