The art was the best its been in ages. It really did look really superb, and the animation was awesome as well :D I just pray that the same standard will be used next week too, because I thought the fight / majority of the fight would be in this episode ^^; Heheh oh wells...

i'm only watching the raw for Stark! Looks like they added more scenes with him, but it was well done. Stark's face was so suggestive :p

Anyhow, anyone else notices this episode had (what felt like at least) one of the longest recaps ever? :/ I mean wow...

And Renji actually seemed pretty bad-ass when he got all angry over Rukia...First (and last) time for everything I guess XD

From skimming the streamed version, looks like a well done episode. The recap took up a third of the ep. >.> Lots of detail went into that closing scene. Szayel still doesn't look quite right. Maybe that's just me. I'll save the final verdict till after the sub comes out.

The recap was weird, first it was a normal length one, followed by new stuff, then another minute of recap for Aaro's death...

If you only watched from the halibel scene onwards then you may have missed stuff!

How can I put in words how awesome this episode was? First off, Szayel Aporro's facial expressions were priceless, I loved seeing all the fraccion (although the Stark/Lilinet scene was played out slightly awkward), and Ulquiorra's scene was amazing beyond belief. Gah!!! Can't wait for next week's.

P.S. Who knew Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum worked for Szayel? lol

Regarding Ulquiorra this is by far the best the anime has ever done to show his character.
Great episode, Blood looked good from Renji's cut, good extra materials, well Lilinet is less evil in the anime, but i guess the sencorship was to be expected(THough i was wondering if she grabed,hit,steped or whatever on his balls originally)

Really sad not to see Ichigo's mask in this episode, since if the animation go down again next week we'll have another crappy Clown mask insted of an evil freak mask.

Hmmm another great episode all the Future Important Fraccions looked better in the anime then in the Manga too bad the vomiting part was kinda removed. Halibell got another edit this time her backs covered eh it doesn't matter it was still a excellent episode. They put a lot of effort into that end of that episode. I can't remember when it looked that good, in the series. Looked movie quality. Not sure why people are saying that next episode is looking horrible in comparison. Besides the ending, the next looks about the same to the majority of this episode.

With Ichigo's fights they make it look a little better and the whole episode is usually affected, like when he fought with Dordonii. The Ishida vs. Cirucci fight was cleaner than the episode where he finished Cirucci off. For some reason that one was pretty bad. I think that if they split up the Ulquiorra fight into the next two episodes or so, they will look more consistant overall.

Umm, I think they may have made her *ahem* less boyish, the whole thing is a bit ridiculous when you consider the have censored Halibel's lower boobs, as well as making blood black, yet they allowed this to take place.

Very good episode. I liked Morita's voice very much. The animation team did a wonderful job with this last episodes.

However, I am not expecting the same quality for the next episode. We might get a clown mask for Ichigo instead of his cool and scary one in the manga. Well see.

Still makes me wonder why Halibel is the only one getting censored then.

Weird Theory: Halibel's tatoo and hollow hole are in places that are rather close to certain areas (use your imagination), and the anime will never be able to show either because it would be way to revealing for the anime. But, Kubo has a certain crucial scene in mind for the future, in which they are revealed, so the anime has to be able to show them... somehow. So the anime people made her outfit bigger, so that they can move the position of her hollow hole and tatoo, so that they can then be revealed in a similar fashion in the crucial scene.

Whoa, the last few scenes of this episode had some the best animation in Bleach in... ever :O They need to stop putting their budget in to the movies and put it back in to the show so all the episodes look like that.

I can't remember the last time the animation was so well done! I thought I was going to die during the Szayel and Ulquiorra portions! The shinigami cup was awesome, too....beautiful fan service for Byakuya!

This is officially one of the best episodes in Bleach history.
