Started watching this anime a couple of weeks ago, it's already one of my favourites. Do any of you watch it? :3

I've watched couple of eps, didn't read the manga so far and it's good. Have to keep up with the anime and look if it gets more than "good" like all say.

I haven't really started the manga yet, but the anime is so great I may have to check that out later.

I saw 1 chapter of the manga 1½ year ago didn't look interesting, to tell the truth the chapter i read was boring for a first chapter(just a girl walking into a town an people beeing scared f her for no apperant reason)
When the anime arrived i gave the serie another go saw to ep 9 and then read the rest of the manga.
Pretty good, some better in the manga such as the feel, some better in the anime such as the Yoma design

I am just starting to watch this am epi 7. The animations great. Its a good little stroy to it as well.

Especially with the claymore taking kids with them xD SO CUTE!

I did somewhat the same with Death Note...read manga before half way through in anime and lost interest towards anime. I read Claymore manga already but feel Claymore is different. I really enjoy watching this anime even if I know how most of the episode is going to be. Just one of those series I can't get enough of :D

Heh, i finished the D. Note manga long before the anime came out, perhaps even before the first movie were made.


So well i've never givn the D.Note movie a look for more then the intro:rolleyes:


As for Claymore, i'd say it's kinda sad they all have those high forheads, Many of em would have looked pretty good if they hadn't imo.
Still Flora & hmm... Clare at times aswell as one other character looks pretty good... Well atleast the style makes it stand a bit out.

I finally started watching it after my friend kept pestering me to watch it. I just started recently and am only up to the 4th ep, but it's pretty interesting so far and I'll definitely keep up with it.

Just got done with episode 15 and really enjoyed it as usual. They are doing a good job staying to the manga. Only bad thing is that they will catch up to the manga in no time.

This episode finally starts one of the many good "stages".

It was a pretty good episode, but 16 will be better :P This one was a bit booring, with all the search for the annoying Raki /Lucky/ in the first part :D Anyway Clare is still hawt /even in the guy disguise..-well it was not a goodenough one anyways :P-/
And Galatea Rocks :D Wanna see her fight in the anime too :D She's one of my favourites after Miria, and future Priscilla.

The series really picks up after the Teresa arc, I think currently the manga is still being sat up for the best part.

Yes, Claymore is awesome. I found a character that I truly love here. And well....let's just say...spoiler tag just in case, don't click if you're not up to date with the anime....

my love was cut short in a very abrupt manner >_<. :cry Yes, it's darling teresa. She's still my favourite so far. I hope we get to see more of her in flashbacks or something. =(.

Yea, was quite a good episode. Haven't seen this much planning in Claymore fights yet. I guess it comes with the territory of having to fight a big whatcha.

Claymore 18!!! Just watched it! Was really awesome.
With one of the awakened beings I was like "hmm hey this voice sounds familiar!". Looked up ANN and its L from Death Note! :p XD.

They're all screwed though however someone will save the day or they'll all flee. Actually Clare will save the day haha:p as per usual

Do you know if this anime is worth of a try? I have to know, please :cry .Uhm. Well, kinda. The manga and the anime get quite different, especially near the end of the Anime's run. So if you do watch the anime, don't expect to pick up the manga and completely understand everything. If you aren't pressed for time, and don't mind reading, I would just go ahead and read the manga. But if you just want the general idea of what the series is about, go ahead with the anime. By itself, the anime was pretty well animated IMO.

If you want to read the series I'd recommend somewhere like www.onemanga.com. Take care.

The manga is better, and the anime ends too soon, but its still good stuff, and its pretty close to manga (for most of the series:p)

its only 26 episodes, so its not like watching the series ill take forever or anything

i never seen the manga and i can tell you i really enjoyed the anime, it actually ended pretty good for me, very uniqe.

also the animetion is amazing and i had a friend who watched almost all the show in couple of days because it was so good.

the anime is one of my fave animes.

i recommend just watching the anime, then start reading the manga from volume 11 of the manga. it will be like the last eps oof claymore again, with an alternate outcome that continues on till now.

hmm, i think you are right, its like watching a show and then watching another version, its like alternative endings in in a movie DVD. makes it more intresting.

if the ending was the same then there wouldnt be any suprise to the fans, and i think that the anime ending was very beautiful. i really loved the final scene.

It's definitely worth watching. It's my favourite anime, and I think it's gonna be hard for me to find a better one.
The story is great, the animation too, the music is simply amazing, and it's got great battles. But most of all it's got this...dark, yet nice atmosphere..

In my opinion, one of the greatest anime ever.
