Yeah this ep was great imo. Szayel and Ulquiorra ftw. Tesla was pretty cool also. I think Szayel's seiyuu sounds great so far but I want to hear him when he has to do the more insane stuff xD I did like the filler of Szayel watching Ilforte vs Renji haha never thought I'd say I liked filler :lmao
Gin at the end was also hilarious as usual xD
It was pretty cool :) Yay for Tesla!
The part with Renji's Bankai being nullified looked pretty damn awesome, and the slap was done brilliantly ;)

Hmm... Who is Tesla's VA? He sounds awfully familiar but I can't read the kanji of his name on the credits.

Tesla's VA seems to be Sakurai Takahiro (on Bleach, he does Kira Izuru). Unless it's someone that sounds exactly like him XD
Edit: Nevermind, apparently it's not him :x (but man, in some parts it sounds exactly like the guy). Kanji doesn't match up.

That's what I thought, too! They sound very much alike! Unless he's using some alias, which I don't think he'd need to in this case (some VAs will use aliases when voicing... *questionable* roles but Tesla surely doesn't fit that category :D;;)
Wow, i'm so impressed how they did work out this episode. Aside from the dull audio quality (i hope that won't affect the subbed version:confused:), the episode overall was excellent, all characters were so well drawn and those major scenes from the manga kept impact in the anime too. I noticed they used some new camera angles to focalize on characters while talking, that was a pretty cool idea.
Good to see that Szayel finally showed up, his seiyu is great, the whole UlquiHime scene was flawless . Next week episode sounds good (i hope they keep up like that). The way they ended this episode was quite lame, they could had came up with a better way.

Pretty good episode. Art and animation was decent, as well as the pace. But the highlight was (for me atleast) definitely Orihime's Shunpo Slap. I thought that was handled very well, and especially loved the sound it made when her hand connected. Sounded more like a fuckin whiplash instead of a regular smack.
Next episode looks really good, and will most likely complete Rukia vs Aaroniero.

Was a good episode, could had been better done, but this is the best i could hope for.
Strange how sado only bleed from the chest there, when his shield was actually cut in half vertically= his arm sould had been cut in half in the worst case.

This a good episode animation was great the new scenes/filler stuff was good. The destruction of Renjis bankai was way better then in the manga, also didn't it show part of Chad's shield arm get cut in the Manga? It only showed his chest bloody after wards unless I didn't notice it because the Low Video quality. But I did notice Noitora using that finger sensing thing he did when Ken showed up in the manga. One more thing I was hoping is that Rukia's fight was going to last at least one and a half episodes more not just one.

But it will be in the 160th ep. T_T
Anyways, Szayel's voice is darn.....hot, sexy, awesome!!!:inlove
His laugh is too xDDD
And...I dunno why, but Tesla reminds me of Cloud from FF7:lmao

I have figured out the Tesla VA mystery!
His name is Yuichi Nakamura. He's very obscure; I haven't seen him in any of the anime that Wikipedia lists.

Well that'd be Takahiro Sakurai, who is Izuru's seiyuu. They sound very similar though, it is really strange.

Episode was decent. Censorship on Sado's wound. Telsa looked alot like Ichigo. 'Hime's scene was the best scene. Szayel has a nice voice. Repeated scene from the Rukia fight ftl. Gin was priceless.

Tesla is Tomoya from Clannad and Abe from Oofuri?!
I did not notice the similarities. Well, nice to know. Now I can listen for it.... I swear though, he sounded just like Sakurai Takahiro. It's like he tried to impersonate him :x

Yay! My new fav episode!!! The camera angles were insane!!! Plus, the slap scene was perfect, just the way I'd pictured it to move. I hope this high quality continues for a while.

Bleach never disappoints. This episode was perfect in every way, I especially enjoyed the scene where Renji's bankai fails. Next week's will be even better.
overall it was a great episode, nothing wrong with it, and the art was pretty good throughout the whole epsiode so im pleased
and of course the slap sense was animated perfectly:D

Oh, durn it....all I see is 8 seconds of a bright green square when I download it. *sigh* Guess I'll just have to watch the RAW again.
But still, this is is, in my opinion, the best episode produced to date. I love how they added in the scene with Szayel watching Renji and Ilforte's fight.

Not even close to the best episodes produced. >.> Not a bad one, but not a great one. The animation was bad in a few spots. Luckly it was good for the majority. Every now and then Szayel had the Jay Leno chin. Overall good ep. The music selection continues to disappoint me.

Good episode ^^ I can't wait for the next one (even though I'm a little worried about how they'll handle it <_<)
The way they ended this episode was quite lame, they could had came up with a better way.
I agree, they could have chosen the scene when Aaroniero cut through rukia before the flashback event.. it will leave such a big impact and exciting on ppl to watch the next one impatiently..like what happened to us when we read the manga ..
The music selection continues to disappoint me
I STRONGLY agree with you T^T even though shiro sagisu has created lots of amazing osts , they failed to choose a suitable ost for a suitable scene..the great example was the episode of rukia vs Aaroniero..although the animation and art were gorgeous, we didn't feel a strong sentiment of angst between rukia and kaien because of the bad selection of the ost..they didn't pick the touching ones as if these scenes were normal which pissed me off >< even I can choose better ones than them.. Seriously other than action osts, they failed to make a good use of the others..i hope this problem will be solved in the futre -_-

Oh my freaking gawd, this episode had all my favorite scenes of this arc!
Noi owning Chad...they censored the ownage though, which kinda sucks, but it was still good. Noi looked good lounging on the tree! Tesla looked nice but I'm not really a fan, he is an Ichigo clone just like Hisagi and Kaien....
The Bitchslap of Doom! I love how Ulqy turned on his heel...but they cut out a part that supports UlqyHime love. The scene where he stands outside the door and looks sad while she is bawling.
Enter the Butterfly! I love Szayel, love love love love! The wind blowing his hair looked soooooo awesome. They screwed up a bit on him though with the jay leno chin popping up from time to time. Toriumi for the win though....that little laugh in the beginning rocked! I hope he can do a good job of sounding psychotic when the time comes...

OMG, it was the greatest chapter in this year!!! (until now)
The Orihime slap was animated perfectly
Here:

Szayel is finally here! XD
I really liked the way he was animated!
Tesla was good, too!!! His hair color was strange at first, but I've gotten used to it now...

you know, that slap mustve hurt like hell. For Inoue. Cause of his Hierro and stuff.
Next episode looks like it will be nicely animated, hopefully they won't skip the bloody bloodiness!

I like the Inoue Orhime slap

but I don't like where they would force her food down her throat..thats mean
like hell!
I would kick their a**es for it too if I was there!
but overall the ep rocked!

Wow... that episode jumped around a whole lot and covered a whole lot of ground. I'm still not sure if I like it that way, but it did sort of tie in the last few episodes together. Heh, this is really going to mess up the "Episode to Chapter Conversion" list. :p
So, the moment that a lot of people have been anticipating has arrived, Orihime smacks Ulquiorra! And still, I don't know if he was only being honest with her, and was puzzled with why she got so upset; or if he intentionally was trying to break her down. The scene itself was done quite nicely, but IMO Ulquiorra looked a little bit off in some bits.
I like the effect used for Chad's summoning of his armored arm, (sucks he's going to be out for such a long time, same goes for Rukia as of the next episode...) and Szayel was... well... Szayel :p, I guess I can sorta see why he has such a following.
The scene with Renji's Bankai being destroyed looked very nice, but I thought it was a barrier in the room itself, and not one around Szayel that did it in the manga. (IIRC, it exploded immediately after it was summoned)
The last part sorta did feel like it was tacked on, but I guess it was a bit necessary, since it has been almost a month since Aaroniero and Rukia's part. There's also an error in it. Rukia's holding Sode No Shirayuki as Aaroniero is releasing, but after he's released, her zanpakutou is nowhere in sight. How very strange...
Oh well, the previews for the next episode look amazing, the chapters it covers are among my favorite in the manga. :yay Yea, she'll be sidelined, but at least she'll be back. :D
