Peach Girl- Oh the drama, the romance, the slice of life, mean girl-slapping, turn around to good-type of anime. I actually liked it, although the animation could be a bit better. And it had an ending I did enjoy, and one of the ones I think that the ending is pretty good there.
Romeo x Juliet- Oh course, of course. It's full of love and romance. And drama. I hope it doesn't end badly.
Bokura Ga Ita- Ahhhh! >.<;;;; The ending was so abrupt. I can't believe he- and, and she- gaah. Then, after watching the anime, which is lovely by the way, I read the manga.
It's a tear-jerker for me.
Oh, I should watch REC, then. It's one of the ones on your list I haven't seen. :)
EDIT: Yeah, Hana Yori Dango was long, but good. And Marmalade Boy was good too, as well as Mintna Bokura, but that was like gender-bender manga(it's funny XD).
Hana yoru dango >> I like how doumiji loves makino to death, even though she didn't like him that much, it's really a heartbreak anime
Marmalade boy >> it becomes more romantic with the development of the story
Koi Kaze >> a tragedy forbidden love story, the main characters make you want to support them even though you know it's a wrong love from the start

I'm shamed to admit that I've even seen this, but I'd have to say REC.

Oh, I should watch REC, then. It's one of the ones on your list I haven't seen. :)
Rec isn’t your typical romantic anime though its seinen . The story is complex between a Advertising company executive who lacks confidence and between a struggling new seiyu . By chance they meet each other and the executive ends up falling for her while the Seiyu doesn’t acknowledge her feelings . To add to the mess , the seiyu ends up living with him
The anime is about how he gets confidence and how she gets stability in each other the manga is still ongoing

^ Ha, yeah. I watched it yesterday. Well, I just watched the last episode today. But I thought it was pretty good, albeit very short. I mean, each episode was about 10 minutes long. It was as long as a regular movie altogether. Short, but sweet. The ending was sweet too. :)

Glad you enjoyed the show yeah the 10 min format is to make up for anime time in-between shows . Popular shows have too many advertisements so shows like Rec fill the time void . But it’s ten minutes well spent ^__^
That show has my fave all time kisses in anime
An earlier article
I don’t its due to the fact I just finished watching Rec or what. Rec touched a chord, the romance is very subtle but believable brought back so many memories. The scene from very last ep
Fumihiko blushes and tells Aka “ Kanojo ne atte “ ( be my Gf ) . She blushingly accepts and at that very moment the morning sun rises As they glisten in the sunrays sharing a sweet quiet kiss on a

( Scene is most likely stolen from a Audrey Hepburn movie but who is complaining )
Thought that’s not the most romantic moment that one hands down is “ Okairi “ right afterwards
Have you watched the special ? (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d12i4PAM4NU) ^^
I saw many shoujo, but the most romantics ones were:
-Full Moon wo Sagashite (and so damn sad...)
-Hanbun no Tsuki ga no Boru Sora (Hantsuki) that was a 6 eps only anime. It was so sad, yet so beautiful. I was so surprised that they could do so much in only 6 episodes.

^ Oh! Yes! I remember Hantsuki. That was really sweet, especially the end theme on the last episode. It was happy, sad, and sweet at the same time, the series as a whole.
@Geta: Yeah, I saw epi. 7.5(the special). ^^ That series was sweet, and I thought the "okaeri" part was sweeter than the kiss a bit, but that's just me.

Yeah I mentioned that in the spoiler Okairi was the sweeter than the kiss itself . I was wishing they kiss again when she said Okairi >.<
Btw I am interested in Hantsuki two people mentioned it checking Wiki currently ^^

Hanbun no Tsuki ga Noboru Sora
During the winter, Yuichi was hospitalized due to hepatitis. Randomly he would try to escape from the hospital but would get beat up by the nurse. One day, he happened to meet Rika, a girl of his age, in the next building. He was fascinated by her beauty, but she was very selfish girl. Although she led him by the nose, he began to be attracted by her. However, when Rika told him about her illness, he knew why she acted so selfish; she didn't have long to live. (From crunchyroll.)

Thanx for the summary it gave me a rough idea on how the show will turn out . I am curious and interested I will definitely check it out after I finish downloading R&J (Ep 7) and Full House ( Ep 6 ) . I muchos enjoyed watching Full House thanks to you so will check this out when those downloads complete . The summary was helpful ^___^

Lol i'd say Sailor Senshi is the anime that centre's most on romanticness that i've seen, the BEST one that i've watched though is Inuyasha :P
I'd say Escaflowne... but I haven't watched many romance-oriented stuff though xD

I actually think Bleach is the closest i ever got to romantic anime...lol

I think most redeeming thing about the FSN anime is that the last couple episodes did the romantic moments so well. I held my breath when I saw the part where Shirou taught Saber how to peel radish, even when it's something so simple without crying screaming or the world ending. The ending...every time I felt like crap I go back and watch the ending, not because it's a particularly a feel-good moment, it's just so consuming that it completely distracts me.
I don't think I can recommend Ai Yazawa enough...she can make the most cheesy things heartbreaking. Honey & Clover is also pretty good. I like alternative "shojo"s.

I know that this is not the debate section...but seriously, why can mostsome people condemn shojo manga that create drama just from a girl's emo-ness for not being able to choose from the numerous guys that falls all over her for no reason (which I agree is bad), but not Harlem anime (which is basically the same thing with the gender roles reversed and more distasteful fan service)?
I'm not saying that's what you think, I just always wondered (and of course, sometimes it is the other way around, but I've seen a lot less of that). And really, I don't mean to offend if I did.

I haven't watched any proper romance anime so Ouran probably haha.
There was also Shingetsutan Tsukihime who no one has heard of haha:p. Had a sad ending. There was one particular love scene which I was like o_O oh ok. So hmm, they're yeah..... haha
I wiki'd it and realised it was a Type Moon adaptation from an eroge game like Fate/Stay Night so I'm sure in the game it was more graphic.

Yeah, if you don't view series like FSN and Tsukihime knowing what it is, there'll be things that makes you go "WTF (3D "dragon")?!"

Guyver makes me cry everytime Sho is rejected. Does that count? I know Ranma 1/2 doesn't count.
Fate Stay Moon and Tsukihime SHOULD be, but the anime fail at little more than interesting interactions and fanservice.
Now, Black Lagoon on the other hand. Best kiss ever.

From what I hear about the FSN game, despite its nature it has a solid plot. However when it was all crammed in 24(26?) episodes, they pick and choose a lot of the wrong things. Kind of like the ParaKiss anime (for anyone who's familiar with it)?
I've seen quite a bit but these are the ones I can remember
Ah! My Goddess
Canvas 2
DNA2
DearS
Kemonozume
Midori no Hibi
Saikano
The best out of that list would be Kemonozume and Saikano. Both are amazing stories.

I would say Fruits Basket.
RahXephon too. Although the people I know did not find it so romantic, it made me cry a lot (but I cry very easily :p)
@Marionette- You didn't offend me, and it's a great question. I wondered it myself. The only answer I can think of is that guys are generally pervs who love the harem theme. If it's reversed it isn't as "entertaining" to guys, and they'll complain.:)

I tend not to like romantic anime unless its funny.
Fruits basket I suppose. I'm watching lovely complex right now and I suppose thats romantic.
Paradice kiss was probably the most romantic one I ever watched and enjoyed actually.
Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien was a romance anime but I hated it so much >__<

I accepted Fruits Basket was romance in the manga and not actually in the anime, coz it's more on comedy. The manga gave me some more angst and romance.
DNAngel is romance, but I can't accept that two young kids are making out. :nuts
Perhaps, Clamps work such as Card Captor Sakura and Magic Knight Rayearth can be seen as romantic, not to mention the odd pairings (-_-)
Oh, and also Honey and Clover, no kiss, but the pain of loving is just a sweet thing...
