Since I mention connections invariably and have a signature of it, why should there not be a Star Trek FC? :headscratch
So here is an FC to discuss the ground-breaking science fiction series, from the Original Series that sprung the idea to Deep Space Nine that illustrated the true depth.

I have to admit I'm a Star Trek fan, I grew up with the series, so I will join. I always get a chuckle when I see your sig earthforge, I remember that episode, actually I downloaded that episode a few months ago when I saw itunes had the first season of DS9 which was by far my favorite of the franchise, unfortunatly the first season was all they had, the rest of the series was far better than the first season.
Sign me up too ^^
I haven't been watching any of the Star Trek series as of late, but I used to watch all the series back when they were running in almost every channel xD
My favourite series, still gotta be with Captain Picard and his crew : The Next Generation. I used to be a huge 'Data' fan xD

Well, at the libraries they usually order the series.
Well, that episode my signature took place in was kinda boring to me. But my brother made the connection that my father gathers telescopes, or "clocks" all of the time.
Well, the first season is okay. In the Hands of the Prophets sums up religon and science well. But by far my favorite episode is "In thePale Moonlight."
Next Gen was interesting, but some episodes were just stupid. Kind of like the one with the Exocomps. But ones like the Best of Both Worlds and Q definitely made it worth watching.

Count me in... I love all the trek series through DS9... Voyager adn Enterprise just didn't do it for me, though... of course, around taht time, I discovered a little show called Babylon 5... and my view of sci-fi shows would never be the same again... but that's for another thread... :D To close, I'll quote a verse from folk musician Voltaire's song "The USS Make Sh*t Up"
'What is with the Klingons? You remember in the day
They looked like Puerto Ricans and they dressed in gold lamee
Now they look like heavy metal rockers from teh dead
with leather pants, and frizzy hair, and lobsters on their heads...
And I sing bounc the graviton particle beam off the main deflector dish.
that's the way we do things, lad, we're making sh*t up as we wish
the klingons and the romulans pose no threat to us
'cause if we find we're in a bind, we'll just make some sh*t up..."
If any one is interested, I have this in MP3 format... :D the rest of it is even better... :D

There's a site you cna pull down your own MP3s of all 4 songs. The one about Worf, you REALLY have to know your star trek to get some of the references. Enjoy, everyone. :D

As much as I hated Enterprise, though, the Terran Empire stuff was just cool. The opening is the best in Star Trek. *am listening to it*
What did you think of the literally changing face of Zephram Cochrane? Starting with TOS and continuing to Enterprise he changed significantly.
