I dunno how many character polls Eyeshield 21 had.

What I do know is that on the character poll for Eyeshield 21's dream 11, Hiruma won the Quarter Back positon. He's also the only person to have twice the number of total votes as the second place has. He was like 11 thousand + votes while Kid had only 4 thousand + votes.

Hiruma's a crazy bastard,

i've watched Eyeshield but lost interest a ways back, sports aren't really my thing, but Hiruma was entertaining :D

The manga is so much better than the anime. I only watched the first five episodes of the anime, and I just had to give it up. But the Manga is awesome. Hiruma is just so much better in print and they just don't capture enough of his devilish persona in the anime.

i watched most of the anime started to lose track of what episode i was on due to slow subbing so i just read the manga now,

his guns are a good method for training too

I loved his backstory in the manga too... You almost feel bad for him basically raising himself and turning to gambling, but he never regreted it and it just made him into the quirky guy we all love XP kicking people because you're proud of them XD Only Hiruma :inlove lol
