Johnny Depp is one of my favorite actors since Pirates of the Carribbean! He deserves awards, coz he can carry different roles. It will be the first time I'll hear him singing.

Johnny Depp is just amazing. He donated $2.2 million to the hospital where his daughter stayed. He also And in November, following the donation, he went to that hospital and spent 4 hours in Jack Sparrow gear (he had the costume sent over especially from LA) and read bed-time stories to the patients; that is just so touching, it makes me want to cry.

He also invited the 5 doctors and nurses who helped his daughter to the premiere of ST in London.

People I don't even KNOW talk to me about ST and Johnny when I'm buying ST/Johnny related stuff. EVERYONE was impressed by him in this movie...I'll have a heart attack if he doesn't win the Oscar.

Yeah,I've read that aswell, that he donated 1 million pounds to the hospital his daughter was in and invited those doctors and nurses to the premiere, also the bed time stories stuff^^ He's an awesome actor and totally deserves the awards he's gotten.

Though him getting an oscar for this ST performance...I don't think so. (haven't even seen ST yet so I can't compare him) but I think Denzel Washington will get it for playing in American Gangster...

btw..who are the nominees anyway?
