Well when I noticed that there was no Fanclub for Kon I was shocked. The poor wee mod-soul. He is so important, Well I feel he is. He is there as comic relief and also plays the important role of interupting Ichiruki moments before they get to deep :).

I always liked Kon, he always seems so sweet. I think he has a perverted side due to bein held up in a pill for most of his life. I also feel sympathy for him, when he is dressed up by Yuzu and Ishida, when he is flung about by Ichigo and stomped on by Rukia and more recently Rangiku.

I think he just needs some love and this is why I have made this FC =D

Kon is a mod soul and is one of the few who managed to escaoe although we have not came acros any other escaped Mod-souls

Mod-Soul - From an operation called 'Spearhead', artificial battle-type souls were created, which when used can strengthens one part of the body to a higher level. This is called Mod-Soul. When the Spearhead operation is cancelled, the mod-souls that have been created are ordered to be destroyed, but some managed to escape.


Manga Moments

Chapter 13 = First appearance
Chapter 14 = Jumps into class through window, kisses Orhime on hand and Tatski on cheek, we see his perverted side for the first time. Is interrupted by Ichigo and Rukia and Jumps out window.
Chapter 15 = Rukias explanation of mod-souls, Ichigo tried to understand Kons situation. Kons enjoying freedom the comes by kids who have a gameboy and delete a character for no apparent reason,very touching scene I think.
Chapter 16 = Goes to help kids even though they are heartless, attacks hollow and is saved by Ichigo, saves the ants (AWWWWWWWWW) and explains that noone ahoul take away anoter life. Is then saved by Rukia from Urahara. Thanks Rukia somehow in pill form (?!?)
Chapter 17 = Kon in plushie form wakes Ichigo up, Ichigo throws him, Ichigo explains why Kon is in a plushie and his name, Kon peaks up Rukias skirt and for the first time is stood on by Rukia and smooshed into the floor

Is it just me or do you agree that Ichigo should let Kon fight hollows in his body more often. I mean Kon can take out low level hollows...that is what he was made for. I think with just a bit of training by Urahara (Speaking of Urahara, do you think he was the one that started Spearhead?) Kon would be able to take out any normal hollow. I think that Ichigo and Co. really underestimate Kon and his abilities a lot.

I can see why Kon doesn't get to fight in Ichigos body. If Kon gets seriously hurt then Ichigo might lose his body although now that Inoe can bring people back from the dead that isn't such a big issue (although at the moment she can't do much in HM) What I think is the best idea is if Urahara makes Kon a Gigai so he wouldn't have to worry about tearing up Ichigos body. I always assumed that Urahara was the one tha started "Spearhead" but I may be wrong. Since he was the one that stated the technology department **name has slipped my mind**

As for them underestimating him, I am not sure. They havn't really seen Kon fight a hollow properly before. What I want to see is more Kon, hopefully he is involved in the next Arc.

I too would like to see Kon more involved with the next arc too, but I'm not holding my breath on that one. He seems to be primarily comic relief and while that is fine...he is really funny...I wish he got to have a little bit more of a well rounded character. I thought he started off nicely like that, where we get to see a bit of his soul when he tells Ichigo that no one has a right to take away his life and he in turn will take no one else's life...I would like to see a bit more Kon like that in edition to funny stuff! :)

Yeah he is primarily comic relief, he also seems to be used to break up 'moments' between Ichigo and Rukia before they get too deep/mushy. What would really be good is an extra chapter, like the one Ichigo and Rukia have about the gears, but it would be based around Kon and his history, also another mod-soul to keep him company wouldn't be bad either. Maybe they could put chappy in a plushie =D

Kon probably does have a deeper side, I mean he would of had alot to think about while staying in that pill for so long, and as we can see he has some very sensible and thoughtful views on life.

Very Cute Fanart, interesting scene xD and choice of clothes, Ichigo would kill Kon for wearing that

He likes Rukia the most, I think. Well I think he has more respect for Rukia since he has spent more time with her and see her as more then an object for his pleasure. He cares about his nee-san and is even upset when she leaves just before SS and when Ichigo doesn't bring her back after SS arc. He has never really had a chance to miss Orihime and rarely even mentions her unless she has been mentioned by someone else. Even then he only mentions her prominent chest.

So in conclusion he may be more attracted to Orihime but I think he likes Rukia more.

I think he likes Rukia better as well. I think when it comes to Orihime it is all about looks. He doesn't even know her. And I don't even think that Hime knows that Kon exists. Kon likes Rukia a lot. He worries about her and even tries to protect her when he can. I also think he has a lot of gratitude to her for saving his life. :D Now maybe if he would stop acting like a goofball around her and told her these things seriously, she'd probably have a lot more respect for him!

I just read the first part of the manga this week. I had never read the first part before. Kon is even better in the manga! Funnier and a lot less annoying than he is in the anime. I think the anime writers went a little overboard with his annoyingness. ;) Plus in the anime when he kicks the hollow out of the way after Ichigo purifies it, it is never explained why Kon does that. In the manga it is because he didn't want the hollow to land on a trail of ants! :love I don't know why they didn't put that little cuteness in the anime. There were other things too, but that one really stuck out in my mind as being a perfect Kon moment. Oh and another perfect Kon moment that didn't make it into the anime was when Kon tells Ichigo that Rukia means everything to him since she saved his life and he will follow her everywhere and Ichigo says, "Hey look! It's Inoue!" and Kon is like, "WHERE?" LMAO! :D

Yeah, I wish Kon was a part of Ichi's little group that goes and does exciting things. I personally don't see why he couldn't become as strong as any of Ichigo's friends since he is already strong to begin with and he spends so much time around Ichigo. Why doesn't Ichi's high reiatsu rub off on Kon the way it does the other people he is in a lot of contact with? Plus I think he could be pretty formidable if he was properly trained. And most importantly, Kon would add some much needed humor into the adventures. The HM arc could really use some right now! X) All in my humble opinion of course!

Yeah, I feel the sae as Sidonzo, Bleach needs Humour and them wacky (can't mind their names) hollows are not providing enough of it ¬.¬. Kon should of hid in a bag pack or something, maybe one of ishidas pockets where he keeps his spare cape. Anywhere would do.

But I understand why Kon has to stay behind, he has to look after Ichigo's body and his family. =) So kon infact has one of the most inmportant jobs, Ichigo wouldn't trust many people to look after his family.

Yeah, that's true Strawberrylover. X) I figure Kon must have access to Ichigo's body if he needs it when Ichigo is away on these trips, he's used it before afterall. Plus he is like Hime in that he has no killer instinct and wouldn't want to kill anyone. And I know Ichigo wouldn't want to bring him along in his plushie form just for the hell of it because he wouldn't want him to get hurt. So I know there are a lot of reasons he stays at home. I just miss him. I like to imagine the comments he would have made to Cirucci from Ishida's bag or something. X)

Ahh yes Kon does have a lack of killer instinct, but I think it is nothing like Orihime's. He knows that he has to kill hollows or they will kill innocent people and souls (and land on innocent ants). He can fight unlike Orihime. Now I am not bashing Orihime here but I think she is too innocent. Kon would understand that the arrancar have to die and he would of been able to fight at Ichigo's side to protect himself, something Orihime is unable to do (at the moment).

Kon I think can have killer instinct and is probably also aware of the fact that hollows don't die but are reborn as human souls in soul society. Something I am not so sure Orihime knows.

If Kon was given the chance he could become a valuable asset to Ichigo's gang, and I m sure he would enjoy Halibels outfit ¬.¬ xD

OK, I just read the Kon runs away scene in the manga last night and it is WAY better and funnier than the same scene in the anime! Ichigo beating Kon clean! And Rukia dusting him off with a toilet brush! I was DYING! XD And the scene with Yuzu dressing him up and putting him next to two really scary stuffed animals! HeeHee! And then him running back to Ichi and Ichi wondering if Kon came out of the closet!! XD XD XD I SO need to draw another Kon fanart after that!
