Asians FC Music Gallery

I had been honoured with the task of establishing a music gallery for this FC, thanks to furato's suggestion. :glomp!!!

What kind of songs and who could post?

Easy. Any member could post - and the preferred theme is cultural emphasis, even though we do not oppose anything as long as they fulfil this characteristics:

1. Made by Asians
2. Had strong Asian elements (no matter what language)
3. Had strong Asian cultural implications
4. No criticizing the song/music choice of members. Any song will do, as long as they fulfill the criteria stated.

Thus anime background musics (not Bleach) and instrumental pieces; or even Western music that incorporate Asian elements are allowed. However, we will strongly not suggest songs in popular culture - but that's flexible; as i can always make another category in the gallery on pop musics. Any enquiries please feel free to PM me or post here; but i prefer PM.

Therefore, if you had a song and you wanna upload it, just go to Mediafire or any other uploader; upload it, post the link in this FC with description of the song (title, artist, reasons for choosing them, extra comments); and i will put it in the gallery.

Any questions, as i said , please PM me, however, relevant questions will be answered in the FC, so no problems for other members.

What will the artwork be like, you ask?

The banner will feature the (arguably) six most popular characters from Bleach: (position from left to right of the banner) Ishida, Orihime, Ichigo, Rukia, Renji, Chad.

1) Vote for ALL SIX characters. Don't just vote for one character-clothing style pair and leave the rest alone.

I shall make a formal introduction to people who don't know me well, because right after this post, I will start to crack, joke, stalk,flirt,terrorize and glomp the members here.(you can see it judging from my front page.)

like they always say, and I live my life by this rule.

So you may find this FC a little different from others with a crazy owner and cute members.

Not many people write the post in my cracking style and not many owner here in BA I known talk like this too.
I write my post in this way, to create a more relaxed, amusing and entertaining environment that every members can enjoy being here.
On the same time, I am very naughty and love to humor people.

So if you are uncomfortable or displeased with how and what I said to you, please say so in your post and I will talk to you in the normal way.

I would love to specially thanks Lone Wulffe who also is the co-owner of the FC.
Just call her LW will do while I refer to her as "LW HONEY".
LW HONEYis a sweet girl so please be nice to her and she is not that crappy like me,so please don't worry.

Anyway, LW HONEY is the one that inspired me to create this FC and several Asian members in IchiRuki FC have mentioned it for several months and at that time, it is Southeast Asian Bleachers.
At that time, I wasn't too active in BA and I have no faith in being a owner of a FC,and so I anticipated someone else to open it, but to no avail.
Afterward, I decided to take up the challenge and the responsibility to open one myself!
However, as I browsed through the members' list and realized that there aren't a lot of Asian members in BA which surprised me, and I didn't want to make the Asians that aren't living in Southeast Asia to feel left out, so thus Asians ♥ Bleach FC is born!

Although this may be a Fan Club for Asian Bleachers, anybody is welcome to join into the conversation anytime, as long as you're interested in Asians and Asian culture or just pretended that you're an Asian at heart.

Just ask nicely by writing a simple introduction post with your nationality ,the current country and the city you reside in and you're in! If you have special traits like a mixed blood, do state it out so I can add this info right beside your name.

Most of the time, we will be talking about your own Asian country and cultures and Bleach of course!
After all, we are Bleach fans!

Except that my skin is tanned and I have a little Malay background in my blood. My father looks so much like a Malay that I was convinced that I was a Malay throughout my childhood as I could speak a little Malay. Oh, having a Malay background made my hair thicker and blacker, so I always have a charcoaled mushroom head. However, I love dye my hair pretty often, so recently my hair color is getting lighter, which is a good thing as it would not make my hair look thick!:yell

Oh, and I think half of that million of Chinese that has no formal command in Chinese are in Singapore. :yell Most young Singapore Chinese today can only speak English, and when they speak Mandarin, it sounds so awful, it's funny like Donald Duck.
I am considered the rare breed who still can speak and write both English and Chinese and some dialects(and I currently learning Japanese!:D). I only speak Mandarin at home as my parents couldn't speak English.

Well, you can say I'm from Bangkok like Annie, but currently live in Japan. I'm quite secretive about where I live. My parents speak Taecheow as their main language. I can understand it a bit, but it's not enough to have a long convo with my grandma. It's so ashamed 'cause I need a translator (mostly my auntie) everytime I talk to her ~bwahaha :cry

Currently, I'm studying Mandarin in my uni as well as Japanese. I've been here for almost two years now. That's also the time I've learnt Japanese. I'd known only Hiragana, Katakana, some basic Kanji from Chinese, and some of few words in Japanese before I came here.

My father looks so much like a Malay that I was convinced that I was a Malay throughout my childhood as I could speak a little Malay. Oh, having a Malay background made my hair thicker and blacker, so I always have a charcoaled mushroom head. However, I love dye my hair pretty often, so recently my hair color is getting lighter, which is a good thing as it would not make my hair look thick!:yell

Well, i'm not surprised at the abundance of mixed bloods anymore (no, offense, i dunno which term to use). I'm counted as a pure Chinese - Teochew clan to boot. However, i think that looking soooo Chinese like me, had some advantages and some pet peeves - depending on the way you look at it. For example, when i travel to China, (my original homeland!) the locals thought i'm local!!! There was one time when i attend an Asians tournament, the contestants thought i'm a Korean! Though, this may stem from the fact that my REAL name stated in the ID has some Korean elements. The name in my fanship ID is the HanYuPinYin, romanization of my real name - i wasnt lying. Somewhat i prefer people calling my from my chinese name - it sounded weeter.

Since we're talking about mixed blood and cultures, yeah it's been getting harder to tell who is "Asian" or not, it gives me a headache. Lots of people migrated and have roots or blood relations in different countries, it's so confusing .

Me, while I'm pure Filipino (although that's not really too pure -- genetically, I'm at least 1/4 Chinese, 1/8 Spanish and the rest Malay and the greater unknown) culturally I'm confused. My parents migrated to the US in the 60s and then returned to Manila in the 80s, so our household was very Americanized; the eldest didn't even learn Filipino until university. One sister married a guy of German-Filipino descent, the other one married an African-American with Creole and Native American ancestry... so you can just imagine the family portrait of all of us together. It's like, United Nations! :) My little nephews are so cute, together they look like poster children for Baby Gap.

Yeah, Thai surname is the longest one in the world. When I went to the health check-up in the hospital, the doctor just looked at my name and then said 'So, you're Thai.' My name in the ID is in the Western order, to confuse people. So the 'Wei' part is my surname, actually. LOL. No meaning in particular, and Ru-Yun meant 'like' and 'melody' respectively, so you now know where my SN comes from.

Yeah, me too. The name in my fanship IS my real name, it's just not lawfully recognized. We here have names in English and Chinese, and both versions of my name are totally different!

Well, i'm not surprised at the abundance of mixed bloods anymore (no, offense, i dunno which term to use). I'm counted as a pure Chinese - Teochew clan to boot. However, i think that looking soooo Chinese like me, had some advantages and some pet peeves - depending on the way you look at it. For example, when i travel to China, (my original homeland!) the locals thought i'm local!!! There was one time when i attend an Asians tournament, the contestants thought i'm a Korean! Since we're talking about mixed blood and cultures, yeah it's been getting harder to tell who is "Asian" or not, it gives me a headache. Lots of people migrated and have roots or blood relations in different countries, it's so confusing .

Me, while I'm pure Filipino (although that's not really too pure -- genetically, I'm at least 1/4 Chinese, 1/8 Spanish and the rest Malay and the greater unknown) culturally I'm confused. My parents migrated to the US in the 60s and then returned to Manila in the 80s, so our household was very Americanized; the eldest didn't even learn Filipino until university. One sister married a guy of German-Filipino descent, the other one married an African-American with Creole and Native American ancestry... so you can just imagine the family portrait of all of us together. It's like, United Nations! :) My little nephews are so cute, together they look like poster children for Baby Gap.

For real, I was thought as a Japanese, Thai, Chinese and Korean. It's hard to tell these days for some Asians. I think clothes and hair's styles pretty much tell you where those people are from. When I have a curvy hair, I'm oftens misunderstood as a Korean whereas people oftens think I'm a Chinese when I have a straight hair.

I thought you already know the meaning of my name, so that's why you said it's beautiful. My name in Kanji is 美珍 which means 'beautiful' and 'precious' respectively. It's a common one for girls, though

But i think there is a way to differentiate the Big 3 East Asian countries by clothes and hair - the popular culture is kinds unique to their own country...However, overseas Chinese like us are more...shall i say, ambiguous? Yeah, I thought you know the Kanji of my name because lots of Chinese girls are given this name in the old days and I misunderstood that you're a native Chinese. Everytime I tell my Chinese friends about my name, they all know its Kanji right away :D
