Kyoudai sighed. Is this thing for real? A hollow in... In a park? You've got to be kidding me. Why would a hollow bother going after kids? Must be a kid with some spiritual energy. Kyoudai jumped onto the next roof, and then the next. He slipped on a gutter, nearly falling off. What is wrong with me today? I'm as clumsy as a drunk. Kyoudai continued jumping across the rooftops, before he found himself on the outer edge of the park.
Kyoudai jumped down, and carefully made his way across the street. Mid-afternoon, no traffic. Good thing too, I would have ended up getting hit by a car or something. He walked across the grass, freshly cut. I love the smell of fresh cut grass. I'm just glad the maintence guys are gone now, I bet the hollows would hate that noisy lawn mower. Kyoudai could see a jungle-gym in the distance, and a kid running around screaming. He's in danger! I've got to save him! Kyoudai started running towards the kid, and grabbed him. He carried him across the playground, setting him near a tree. "Hey kid, you alright?" He asked. "What are you doing mister? I was playing tag with Amy!" The kid replied angrily. "Oh, well uh, sorry." Kyoudai said as he walked away, his face slightly flushed. Was it wrong? Is there no hollow here? Kyoudai opened the tracker again, and sure enough the blip was still there. What is going on? It says it's right there, but I don't see anything... Suddenly, the ground tore open and Kyoudai fell into the hole.
Wha..What is this place? He looked around, and saw it was a tunnel. There wasn't much light, except for what was coming down from the hole in the ceiling where he'd fallen. As Kyoudai's vision focused, the blurry world became clear. He was inside a tunnel, with chunks of dirt laying everywhere. But, no hollow in sight. Not again... Where is this damned hollow?! He thought, starting to get angry. He looked around again. Well, might as well go forward. Kyoudai walked forward for several minutes, occasionally tripping over bits of rock strewn across the tunnel floor. Blasted rocks...Why did I go forward? I can't see anything... But as he said that, a small light appeared. Finally! I just want out of this stupid tunnel. Kyoudai rushed towards the light, and it got bigger as he got closer. But the closer he got, the more he realized it was a dull light. It's not very bright... Maybe it's a small hole through some rocks or something? As he got closer, he could see objects behind it. Rocks, maybe? Then, something happened that was like a sci-fi movie or something. A giant hollow came barreling towards him.
The hollow was big, very big. It was like an earthworm, except it was giant. Did I mention it was giant? It has an oblong mask on, with a wierd glowing ball bobbing from its head. It rushed towards Kyoudai, opening its massive mouth to reveal rows of large, sharp, brown teeth going all the way around its mouth. Uh oh... How did I fall right into it's trap?! How could I be so stupid! Kyoudai drew his Zanpakutoh, and got into a defensive position. The giant worm-hollow shot its head forward right at Kyoudai. Kyoudai did a somersault to his left, careful not to cut himself with his zanpakutoh. What am I going to do... Kyoudai jumped forward, slicing at its skin. The worm-hollow screached, as a wierd liquid oozed from the wound. The worm squirmed around, wiggling and lashing out with its tail. Kyoudai jumped forward again, and stabbed its stomach. The same as last time, a liquid oozed out. The hollow rolled over, revealing its hole. So, it really is a hollow. Good thing, I'd hate for giant worms to be evolving underground... he thought sarcastically. Kyoudai ran towards the hollow's mask, and swung with all his force. The mask barely got chipped, and the hollow swung his head knocking Kyoudai over. This thing just wont die! Wait a second.... If I can cause a cave in, it could stop it! Kyoudai looked up, and raised his left hand. "Ye Lord! Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Inferno and pandemonium, The sea barrier surges, March on to the south! " Kyoudai yelled, and a red orb appeared on his hand. He finished the incantation, and the red ball launched at the ceiling. The rocks exploded, and rocks started crashing down on the hollow.
Kyoudai laughed, dirt smudged all over his face and clothes. I finally got it! Kyoudai smiled to himself, finally allowing himself a chance to take in the victory. Now that was a challenge! He looked around, the newly made hole giving off light. Rocks were piled on the hollow, and it looked half deflated from all the liquids that oozed out of it. Kyoudai looked up at the hole, his eyes slowly adjusting to the bright sunlight. I can't wait to tell my buddies about this one!
