The Dark Eternal Night (Open to all)

It was Pitch Black that night. No moon glowed over the Soul Society. The only light one could find was by Candle or Kido.
It was a perfect night to take care of a Group of Rouge Shinigami.
But Altair couldn't help but think that this Mission would be different from his others...
Someone was close by.
Was he being followed?
Was it one of the rouges?
Just in case Altair released his Hidden Dagger.
"Who's there?"

[Kaoru Miyazaki]

Kaoru simply could not get to sleep that night. He had already changed into his white yukata and layed down in bed, but his mind refused to go to sleep. So the young shinigami eventually decided to talk a walk around the seiretei in the hopes that it would tire him out. Instead of putting his shihakusho back on, he merely walked out in the simple yukata. His long purple hair was pulled back into a lazy ponytail by a small red band. The metal fan that served as his zanpakutou was tucked carefully into his obi.

After walking around the paths and alley ways for about half an hour, Kaoru still did not feel tired. He sighed softly. It was then that he heard someone call out nearby. Their voice startled him slightly. Naturally, he hadn't been expecting to run into anyone while he was out. But nonetheless, he rounded the corner so as to find out who had spoken. Instead, he found himself facing the pointed end of a dagger. His purple eyes widened slightly as a shriek escaped his mouth. "Wh... What're you doing!?", he cried out.

Kyro Beamed a smiles of delight at the small bottle infront of him, as he gentle lifted the bottle untill the suculent sake liquid dripped into his low rim cup.

"not to little"

he said pouring a little more into the cup.

"Ok! bottoms up..."

he put the cup down and began chugging from the bottle once he had finished, he poured the cups contence back into the now empty bottle. Kyro was abit happier then usual. the 4ths missions had finally been becoming more interesting with all the Rogue shinigami sightings. the group that was unknown in name and uknown in number. it was like fighting withs ghosts.

Kyro had spent his last days patching up wounds and so forth caused by the shinigami desolates. and his life was now getting a purpose. Captain Ren-Takada had been busy aswell lately she always seemed to be out on missions, Kyro didn't know wether she was there or not. after that ordial with the last group of rogues that had caused so mutch upheaval in the Seretei.

He sat there quite pleased untill he noticed somthing faint from about 800 meters away, a faint flare in rietsu caused by an indervidual. Kyro spun up from his table grabbing his zanpaktou as he leapt from the room out onto the balcony. He shunpoed nearly 600 of the 800 meters before slamming to a halt at the end of the road. staring at two shinigami, blade drawn Kyro stared intently at them, it was to dark to see their faces but definatly shinigami.

"Hey! whats the meaning of this?" said Kyro attempting to get the mans attention.

Kaoru turned to look as another voice called out. Once again, there was another blade pointed in his general direction. The tone of its wielder's voice sounded very serious. He immediately took a few steps backwards until he felt the wall behind him. Oh, for Heaven's sake, he had just taken a little evening stroll and now there were two blades pointed threateningly at him with their owners demanding to know what was going on. Now even he wanted to know what the hell was going on.

What had suddenly made him the suspect of these other two shinigami? Were they just a little confused? Kaoru didn't know and didn't want to make any automatic assumptions. But then a thought occured to him. He wasn't wearing his shihakusho right now. That probably made him look a little bit different in this case. Was that what was causing all the commotion? Well, it was worth a shot.

"Look, I think there's been some sort of misunderstanding here...", he said calmly from his place against the wall.

Kyro squinted, his Eye still not atune to the shadowy blackness. Now fully raising his weapon.

"Shine in the light Geno-Glossia" he mumbled and the sword flashed in a blinding display of light meant to stun any one looking in its dirention. the now shining double headed glaive what raised above Kyros head eluminating the whole street area. and revealing the 2 shinigami.

"Well well... Miyazaki of the 11th and a member of the special forces assassination squad.... Right?"


Kyro now knew the two men and stepped closer with a sence of ease. thought it was the assassins rietsu that flared ealier, so he was obviously the first person at the scene.
kyro stepped until he was infront of both the men and his own face was revealed.

"I'm vice-captain Kyro crysta of the 4th division. i senced a rietsu spike that seems to have echoed from you"

he said staring at the nameless assassin. Members of the 2nd squad were never known by name to any other squads of the Gotei 13. except the captain and vice kyro had no idea who the 2nd division members where.

Altair stared at the two Shinigami. They were not the Rouges. One man he knew, at least somewhat. He took a few steps forward and removed his hood to reveal short black hair and tan skin that he gained thanks to the Arabian Sun of the Holy Land in his former life.Now, it was rare that a soul remembered their past life, yet Altair remembered it all. Including his skills as an assassin for the Hashashin.

"Forgive my rudeness. I am Altair Ibn-La'Ahad. Assassin 1st Class for 2nd Squad. I am hunting Rouge Shinigami at the moment. May I ask why you two are out here at this time?"

Kyro's verbal warning was the only warning Kaoru had. He drew Hanamaru from his obi and opened the fan, holding the metal blades in front of his face just as a blinding light issued forth from the weapon that the other was holding above his head. Though the blades were thin, the metal was thick enough to keep the light from passing through.

The entire alley way was then revealed, including its three current residents. It was then that the Third Seat heard his name and he moved the fan away from his face.

"Hmm...? Yes, that's right. I'm Kaoru Miyazaki, Third Seat of 11th Division.", he said, properly introducing himself. "Oh... I guess I must look a little different without my Shihakusho on."

Kaoru realized that he wasn't very familiar with either of the other two shinigami. Of course, no one was really ever familiar with the members of the 2nd Division. But Crysta-fukutaichou seemed to be rather nice. The assassin revealed himself; removed the hood from his head. He had a rather unique countenance that Kaoru had never encountered before.

"I was just out walking because I couldn't sleep. You see, my younger brother died recently and I haven't been able to sleep well since that day. Though I'm sorry that I've caused such a commotion. It was truly unintensional...", he said quietly, rubbing his arm with his free hand.

Altair stepped fully into the light. Unlike other Shinigami, He did not wear a Shihakusho. He wore his usual Eagle-Inspired white assassin robes and hood. As usual his long Scimitar was by his side, his pure white long dagger was sheathed on his back and 15 small throwing daggers surrounded his robes; Four sheathed on his large belt with two on each side, Five in a holster on his left shoulder, while the rest he hid from view. It was the same equipment and clothes he wore when he was alive. He was lucky that the Captain-General let Altair continue to wear it all instead of the usual Shinigami Uniform.

Altair gave a sorrowful nod to the young man from 11th Squad. "I am sorry for your lose, Lord Miyazaki." The Third Seat's Zanpaku-to was very bright, it lit the entire alleyway.
"That thing is brighter than the Damascus Sun, mind putting it down?" Altair asked nicely before clearing his throat.
"Do either of you know about a group of rouge Shinigami in this area?"

Kyro smiled.

as Genoglossia's light slowly dimmed but still eluminated the ally. the 3 shinigami where an odd group, a ruthless killer, an assassin, and healer.

"Yes i've heard of them, a while ago a rukongai mob boss was attacked right? his men killed and his building destroyed. there was suposed to be an investigation. but to no avail... "

Kyro walked up to Kaoru,


"You bleeding..." said kyro pointing as Kaoru's thy...


"What happened?"



(if we say dont know anything about it... then we can say that the rogue shinigami was infact there. and has attacked Kaoru without his knowledge... )

Kaoru watched as Altair gave a sorrowful nod at him. "Oh... Thank you... But such respect isn't needed when addressing one such as myself. Please, just call me Kaoru, if you want to.", he replied, feeling extremely uneasy. It was then that the Assassin asked a question of Crysta-fukutaichou and himself. In all honesty, he didn't know anything about a group of rogue shinigami in the area... So he merely remained silent as Crysta-fukutaichou gave his answer, which revealed some information towards the subject. The Third Seat felt even more uneasy. He'd been walking around without knowing what kind of danger he'd been in.

Then, Kaoru was directly addressed by the 4th Division Officer. Crysta-fukutaichou walked over to him and pointed out that he was... bleeding... from his leg. Kaoru turned his purple eyes down to the wound, which he hadn't even been aware of until this very moment. His eyes widened and he looked up at the other two shinigami, now thuroughly panicked. "I don't know. I don't recall ever tripping or scraping my leg on anything while I was out walking. I don't know how I got this wound, but it's fresh...", he said, shaking.

(Great idea. Heh, it seems poor Kaoru is always getting attacked by something or someone. Ah well, he's a total drama queen anyway so it's good for him.)

Kyro placed his palm on Kaoru's leg sencing if there ws any way of determining where and when he got the wound, it was slightly cold to the touch, as if it had been done a while ago but Kaoru ws right, it was fresh, atleast due to the ammount of bleeding since he left on his walk.


"I'll fix this up... "

he then address altiar.

"So if these rogue shinigami are out roaming the Streets what are we to do, the guards are overflowing with dutys, and the Gotei 13 re busy aswell due to the lastest attacks. What are we to do?"


he said while bandaging around Kaoru's leg.

"There ya go, good as new... almost"


kyro turned, holding the glaive aloft again.

"I show respect to all who deserve it." Altair said simply as he stepped forward. He glanced at the 4th Squad Officer. Altair had seen him a few times before. He knew the name, but not the rank. The smell of Kaoru's blood burned the air around the three. The smell burned the Assassin's nose. Altair would never get used to the smell, no matter how many times he killed, no matter how many evil men he assassinated, that smell, he well always hate.

Altair gave a nod to Kyro. "Correct. Though that was not all they did. If they just killed a crime boss than I would not be hunting them. They also murdered many innocents. They are Terrorists. "

Altair sighed as he knelt down next to Kyro. "That is why I am here. I'm hunting the Rouges. My Captain wishes them dead, though the Captain-General wishes the leader alive." He glanced at Kaoru's leg. "That wound was made by a blade not to long ago." And with that he stood up and looked at the moon above.
"Well isn't that an interesting omen." He said suddenly.
He was looking at a red moon.
"In my past life I lived in a desert we used to call the Holy Land. We had a myth that said a Red Moon meant blood would be spilled that night. Tonight may be the night I catch my pray." He turned to his two new companions.
"But it could mean something else, too. For now I think we should stick together. At least for a little while. "

Kaoru jumped a little bit as Kyro touched his leg. A small rivulet of blood had flowed from the wound, staining its way down his pale skin. How the hell could he not have noticed it...? Honestly, he didn't recall being in any kind of situation where he could have been cut by a blade, especially down on his leg. Kyro began to tend the wound, cleaning it up and bandaging it properly.

The purple haired shinigami merely listened to all that was said between the fukutaichou and the assassin, since he didn't know anything and could therefore contribute nothing to their conversation. He blushed lightly as Kyro finished tending his leg, waiting as he moved away to hold his weapon up again.

“Thank you very much, Crysta-fukutaichou.”, he said, giving a small bow.

It was then that Altair called their attention to the Akatsuki, the red moon, above them. Just the sight of it sent another shudder down Kaoru's spine. His blood was the blood that had been spilled first that night, even if it was only a little. If it was true that he had been attacked by one of these rogue shinigami without even realizing it, then he absolutely did not want to be alone on his own right now.

“Yes, I agree... We should stay together...”, Kaoru nodded softly.

"Concered"

Kyro rose the glaive again, if a rogue shinigami had been in the area he was using a powerful ritsu block to stop people from noticing him.

but Kyro had a plan.

"Ok lets go,"


he had no idea where the rogue was, but thought, if it was an assassin sent to kill Kaoru. and has failed? then he would try again once Kaoru was alone, or if any one them became alone, Kyro stared up at the dimly lit roofs, the rogue must be watching them in secret.

"Altair... when i sine my light, can your advance sight find a target?"

Altair nodded at his two new companions. "Very well then." He looked at Kyro and shook his head.
"No, Vice Captain Crysta, it would be foolish to do that now. They are long gone. I can feel no energy besides ourselves and if they were blocking their energy I would be able to feel a change in the air near the rouge. Though, when we find them, we shall use that idea to draw them out. Thank you, Vice Captain." He bowed and heaved a small sigh.
"Hmm,We just need to figure out where they could have gone. I took out a small group of them to the West of here. They could be in the outskirts by now.Or the guards might have closed the gates in time so they cannot get out.One can only hope it is the Latter."

Despite the fact that he really didn't want to go looking for someone who could attack him and he'd be none the wiser, Kaoru decided that, as long as he was with Crysta-fukutaichou and Altair-san, he'd rather go and check the area near the gates for the rogue shinigami. Though, if their small group did find them there, were they really in any sort of position to fight them? He hadn't considered that. After all, one of them had gotten close enough to cut his leg and he hadn't even been aware of it. Well, if nothing else, there was no harm in making the suggestion. The worst thing that could happen was the other two saying no to him, which was actually fine with him.

“So... Should we see if they're still there?”, he asked quietly, turning his gaze from Kyro to Altair while he waited for an answer.

"Definatly... we'll head to the nearest gate to here, witch should be the east, if he going to escape it'll be through there..."


Kyro grinned...

as he turned to also look at Kaoru. and then looked at altair...


"Ready?"

Altair nodded at them both. "To the East Gate, then. Let's move!" He turned and started to jog, slow at first so his companions could catch up. His jog soon turned into a full sprint, though he kept it slow enough so his companions could follow. Altair stopped his run as they reached the East Gate. He didn't move an inch.
His eyes bolted left and right. There were usually at least two guards posted, and the amount of guards would have increased due to the Rouges. And yet...And yet there was nobody. Something was very very wrong.

"What in the hell?"

Kaoru followed after Altair-san and Crysta-fukutaichou as the trio ran towards the Eastern Gate. It wasn't long before they were at their intended location, although each of them could tell that something was wrong. There wasn't even a single guard in sight, despite that there had been recent attacks in the area. The Third Seat's thoughts were basically along the same lines of Altair's own. He looked around, drawing Hanamaru from his obi out of paranoia. After all, he'd already been attacked once tonight and he didn't want it to happen again. It might have been a lot worse than just a small cut on his leg.
