Overall this episode is a small step up from recent eps. Drawing and Animation were good. There was just one moment where they decided to jus drop the quality to below 0... im sure you guys will spot it

The animation's a big 1up from the previous episodes. Up until Ichigo pulls out his mask things just seem to slowly drift. Loved Nel's vomit moment.

Totally Vaizado! I was also just gaping at all the blood that splattered out of his wound! I was all like: Are there no more kiddies watching this show then? Seriously though, if they keep this amount of blood in it I am almost positive the upcoming epis will work out alright, as long as the animation is good too!

all in all a good episode the animation got better since last ep. But what i dont like is that they darken the blood so extreme. I mean makeit a dark red but not like they are bleeding oil and leave thee wounds and blood instead of "wiping it of" in less then 10 seconds

Thats what i was talking about in my earlier post. I CANT BELIEVE they let that go through. Of ALL things in that scene, hell the whole episode what should have been drawn well is the hollow mask.

By making the blood a darker color, it's probably easier for them to get away with using it. Hence why recently we've been seeing decent amounts of blood again.

I was just impressed that there was blood at all.

I don't understand why (for the Anime mask) they can't join up the lines for the teeth, because here they all look like one joint thing... :/

Yes the detail is poor. Are they incapable of drawing Ichigo's mask the way Kubo does it I mean look back at Episode 140. Shinji's mask had excellent detail. I would think the main character's mask deserves the most attention.

Some of us want to watch Bleach the way it used to be. Without the crappy animation, absence of blood, and reused filler music. Overall good episode what did it for me is Ichigo's Hollow Mask. Since just like Ichigo's Bankai it's something that is going to reappear often and they never get it right. Where is the scary teeth?

Bleach has never been best animation nor it was better than what it currently is. It's an avarage animation whether you accept it or not. If you want Kubo Tite's attention to draw every single frame, that'd be dream. The guy only draws total of max 100 frames per week, even he does errors, imagine to draw 28800 frame per week. That'd be overdose, even Tite could not make it animated himself. So give the guys a break.

Lol, Dattebayo's translations are so inaccurate. Aside from their usual and obvious mistranslations, they translated Dordonii's "sweet as chocolote" as "soft as marshmallow". I mean, you can clearly hear Dordonii say "chocolate". Dattebayo sure cracks me up.

Besides, every heard of footnotes? All subbers use them. Whenever a line comes up that needs a bit more info for the audience to understand them, subbers usually put an explanation at the top of the page. They could've done the same for this.

Whoever didnt understand it must've not read a good scanlation then, cause the first time I read it the scanlators thoroughly explained what it meant.

And many subbers put footnotes for Jap expressions too. On the first episode of Bleach, a fan sub group put footnotes for "nii-san" and "nee-chan", even though those are things everyone knows well.

The point is DB do a mediocre job at translating. Most likely cause they rush their releases, because they twist lines to their liking. I can pick off A LOT of lines from any Bleach episode they've subbed and even for simple lines, they totally change the meaning.

No, I'm not one of them, actually I'm one that I can actually struggle them for their behaviours. I just tell you, you are just being picky over a sentence that means exactly same. I don't think they also missed the word "chocolate" like you did not. Someone that translates entire Japanese episodes obviously would know hear that word better than those who does not. Am I wrong?

Eh, I thought the mask materialization was neat, but the mask itself looked weird. And it didn't crumble away :[ I liked that in the manga. But that's just me being picky.

Overall, good episode, though.
