Summary by Annie from a Thai forum:

Chapter 281: The Vulgarian Noise.

Ichigo turned into a Vaizard and Orihime saw it. She was scared (or shock) of Ichigo and before she could say anything Ichigo apologised to her for scaring her and asked her to believe in him, it'll be over soon.

GJ saw Ichigo turned Vaizard so he himself released (Grind, Pantera!). GJ hitted Ichigo over and over again. After that he taunted Ichigo (So...this is not all you got, hurry up!). Right after his taunted Ichigo appeared from behind and released Getsuga Tenshou but GJ managed to destroyed it within one hand. He laughed and said "Great! Kurosaki Ichigo!! Your eyes (the way Ichigo looks) That's what irritates me!"

Pretty much a just a fight and Ichigo reassured Orihime. Nothing much though, I guess we have to wait until the RAW come out because I really can't describe the fight scene, sorry.

Nah the lack of mask is too much; if I recall right, all the other Arrancars kept their masks when they released. There is little to no chance that GJ would lose his just because he's an Espada. So I call fake :p

If it is a fake someone's done a good job making it look like it's from a weekly manga book. It even has the bend from a 2 page spread and the cheap paper look.

Yeah that is actually a fake himajin, the real himajin did say something before though but hasn't showed up since.

I could only do を, 怒いを and i mixed 力 with 九 which obviously changes the meaning @_@ so thanks for correcting danna.

Just want to add the way that text on the right is there in a white blob and not really blending with the background is kinda what makes me think it's fake >_>

and i believe that GJ not released is faraway beyond the released!! the attitude, the character and the body!!! i think this release has just missed all of that...

I see one thing, and one thing only wrong with his release. And that is that his mask is not covering his face like all the Arrancars we've seen so far. Unless in that pic, it's still "forming" of w/e. But other than that, it doesnt look bad. Since when does having long hair degrade a character?

Well, vaizado is correct in noting that GJ has no mask. I just took a second look at the image and I'm calling it totally fake. It's just not Kubo's style and it just looks horrible. If this ends up being a legit image, then either I know nothing about Kubo's art or he seriously went outside the box with this one.

Take it with a little humour dudes. Does an ugly release prevents you for liking a character? Or do you want absolutely what's the best for him/her, knowing that, it probably won't happen? I mean, out of all the Arrancars' release, I dare say it's the best, even if it reminds me of a weird mix between DBZ and Sonic.

How do you infer a lack of plot development from 3 panels? I'm rather inclined to think that this chapter is something that the plot has been building to for 80 chapters.

And given that some of the previous releases we've seen have involved baboon sovereigns and giant poison spitting caterpillar babies and pulsating blobs of flesh, I don't think this release is all that absurd. Grimmjow's personality has always mapped best to that of a hunting cat.

LOL, I was thinking about the band too when I read Pantera. Maybe Kubo decided to go with the long hair to give props to Pantera when they were a hair band in the 80's.

Bleach isnt exactly that unique, it's taken the DBZ road in the last several chapter. :(

It's been mentioned already that El Dorad didn't have his mask over his nose when he released, and I just checked and it's true. Chapter 203 last page. Rather than the boomerang on his nose, the mask comes around his face.

Looks similar to Grimmjow's in that it's now wrapping about his forehead.

Pre-release (his mask is under his eyes) vs post-release (it's not here anymore guys).
The shape changed, as it seems to be the case in the first pic for GJ. So we can't say it's fake because of this.

Hmm...reading ten pages of this has made me abit fed up people...it's just a spoiler whether it's fake or not, be happy about it. I actually find it funny that people are going into their way to make fakes..(I am not saying the first pci/release is a fake though) and post them.

I can't say I like seeing Grimmjow that way if it's real but then again..what are we gonna do about it huh, boycot Bleach because we don't like a release?! Come on!

The last two pics, I'm fine with. Finally, we get to see GJ release.

The first pic, however... Really, WTF is up with that? We went from unreleased, badass GJ, what with his short spiky crazy hair, crazy expressions, and attitude, plus the torn short sleeved jacket that shows off his chest and scar

... to this mixture of Shaw Long, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Super Saiyan 3.
Personally, I'm not feeling GJ in that pic. I can't see him giving that smug "I'm better than you, F*** off" attitude while looking like that.

But ... enough of my ranting. I could even be wasting it on a fake pic. It does, however, look... not fake >< It does look very much like a cam shot, but until Friday, or until confirmation, who knows.

I would like to point out several things

A) that grimmjow pic is not so strange. First keep in mind he's SURROUNDED in energy. Shadows don't work the same when there's light all around you.

B) Shawlong had a similar releast, tight to his body, a tail, muscle lines defined, blades sticking out

C) the eye things becoming tips of his ears is *awesome*

D) look at his left arm. The forarm is going down, and then you see a large blade stick out from behind his legs. He has blades for fingers I bet.

E) Eduardo doesn't have a mask in release, he has guard plates that are attached to his shoulders, not his head. THe first image of him doesn't show this, but Kubo changed the style a bit the very next chapter. (anyways, as yanniv pointed out, grim seems to have a mask crest on his forhead. Every arrancar that has released (except for arroniero) has had their mask alter in some form)

F) Come on, Grimmjow looks like billy idol, his tsuba is based on slipknot, his release being pantera makes perfect sense.

G) They stated that espada releases are completely different than normal releases. This clearly shows it. While a Gillian release only covers HALF the body, this covers most of it, and changes things about the user as well (long hair, for instance)

H) Remember how much power differences releases have. They are somewhere between shikai and bankai (as demonstrated by Eduardo, who goes from being more or less on par with pre-shikai ikkaku to smashing through post-shikai in one hit, as well as the reference arroniero made to how drastically his release increased his power.) Imagine how strong Grimmjow must be now. Ichigos gonna get thrashed, and with grimmjow having *THIS* form, he's going to be able to thrash him in style, fast and furious, with lots of blood.

Yes, his release also means that he has a prerequisite power boost. But his release, imo, looks like crap. I think we all want something original. Not a similar scenario to "If ShawLong were the Sexta Espada..."

I wonder if GJ's stance will change. I can't see him standing up like that. He'd look too weird, IMO >< Being the proud character that he is, he NEEDS to be able to stand up, straight and tall. Not crouched like some feral cat. Yes, but assuming the position of a feral cat, in this case, a panther, we get a sense of ferocity from him. But we lose his sense of pride, IMO.

Kidding aside, now that I know it's actually called Pantera I'm not terribly surprised. Kubo is a well-known metal fan. It's been suggested that Bleach's title was borrowed from a Nirvana album. My only real criticism at this point is that it looks so much like Shawlong's...though I'm sure the fangirls are thinking, "Sexta Espada? More like Smexta Espada!"

This also is the first time we've seen the actual sword change shape. Usually the Arrancar is enveloped in smoke or something as soon as they call the release, but with Grimm we see his sword turn into a claw-thingy before the transformation.

This kinda makes me wonder if they're not going to go IchiByaku one-shot-ultimate-showdown-of-doom-style next. Ichi is under a pretty sharp time limit, and Grimm seems to want to beat Masked Ichi, not normal Ichi.

If you thought Grimmjow was a proud character.... I'm sorry, you just don't get his character o.O Don't confuse arrogance and selfishness for pride. Cirucci, she was a good example of someone with pride.

And something new... what, you expect them to not have hollow type releases at all? Let's review what we've seen so far. Every SINGLE arrancar release has some dominant animal trait (even those who are themed plant, like luppi, or element, like eduardo, still resemble a spider and gorilla respectively) We've also seen that ajuuca releases usually involve energy (Doldoni, Cirucci, Gantenbein) and so I'm sure there's more to this form than we expect.

Also, keep in mind, we've seen releases before of similar levels (those 3 described above) and so why should grimm's be so different?

I mean, I would expect a vastarode release to be something different, but Grimmjow's just an ajuuca, and he's in the bottom 5 espada at that.

Just cause Grimmjow is a fan favorite, it doesn't mean that as far as the story goes, he *should* be something different. He's an ajuuca, yes, so he should be somewhat different than the gillians. For all we know, he is. I've pointed out that he's the only one who's changed their own selves physically (the growth of hair) instead of just adding on armor and gaining new abilities.

From my experience with these kinds of photos, I would say the last two pictures that we receive are real pictures. The first one I would also agree, though I have my doubts in some areas of the picture. So I'm more iffy about the first one we receive, than the other two.

The reason why we had the pic so early is most likely because the person knew that people were awaiting for GJ's release so he just wanted to show it up. Chapter 281: The Vulgarian Noise.

Ichigo turned into a Vaizard and Orihime saw it. She was scared (or shock) of Ichigo and before she could say anything Ichigo apologised to her for scaring her and asked her to believe in him, it'll be over soon.

GJ saw Ichigo turned Vaizard so he himself released (Grind, Pantera!). GJ hitted Ichigo over and over again. After that he taunted Ichigo (This is not all you got, get up!). Right after his taunt Ichigo appeared from behind and released Getsuga Tenshou but GJ managed to destroyed it within one hand. He laughed and said "Great! Kurosaki Ichigo!! Your eyes (the way Ichigo looks) That's what irritates me!"

Pretty much a just a fight and Ichigo reassured Orihime. Nothing much though, I guess we have to wait until the RAW come out because I really can't describe the fight scene, sorry.

The fight itself won't advance the story much, but that's not the point, this is the final ultimate battle between the the two most pent-up adversaries (well relatively at this point in time). From the summary it seems Ichigo is not giving into the beastility bloodlust that Grimmjaw wants him to much to his annoyance. Of course I like the IchiOri stuff too (more, more! :D) Wonder if Orihime is worreid about Ichigo losing himself.

Ichigo seems calm, normally he doesn't have time to stand around and talk. Hopefully we will see a flashback when Grimmjow is seconds from death. I think people will like GJ's released form once they get a more detailed image. There also has to be more to his bankai as recently it hasn't given him any advantage against the Espada.

From what we've witnessed with Orihime's power in the last few chapters, I don't think it would make a difference if she goes to Rukia or Chad now or next week as she seems to be able to restore them either way. Waiting a few more minutes isn't going to kill them, or if it does, hey she can restore them. Also, do people expect Orihime to be able to get to Chad and Rukia without bumping into 6 other Espada and/or their fraccion, not to mention either Aizen, Tousen or Gin on the way? Does she have a secret way to get there without being detected? She is a prisoner and isn't supposed to be roaming Las Noches freely.

She can easily find everyone else hypothetically. In chapter 180/181 she searches all over the Sereitei for Rukia with the Shun Shun Rikka. If her powers are supposed to be greater at this point, I don't see what the problem is here.

She can also heal from afar as shown in 199/200 with her fairies taking care of Chad while Orihime is at home, clearly in a different place.

But right now is she really helping anyone at all by just standing there and being a target for Grimmjow? :confused: :confused:

Did she really search for Rukia with Shun Shun Rikka back in SS? I don't recall that. As for Chad, she was already in the midst of healing him before she confronted Yammi. So having Chad be moved far from where she is later doesn't matter as the healing process was already begun prior to her separation from her fairies. We haven't really had a precedent yet where Orihime willingly searched out an injured person using the Shun Shun Rikka. All other ones, she had to be there near the person to initiate the healing.

Why would you allow suffering if you can prevent it? She’s doing nothing at the moment, she can’t even protect herself. The difference between Orihime and the rest of this group is that they would have all taken that chance without issue. Last we saw Rukia she was crawling in the floor in her own blood to try to help Orihime. So far this arc, the only help Orihime has been to herself and to others was in situations where she didn’t have to go out of her way and take a chance. She never even contemplates it. And now she’s just standing there, and even has to be reminded by Ichigo to use her own powers to protect herself.

Seems to me, right now, the reason she’s there to witness this fight is to witness an aspect of Ichigo that apparently frightens her – to understand that there are parts of him that are dark. Her faith in him is wavering at best, and now all she’s managed to accomplish is making him feel he has to apologize for who he is. She’s nothing but a hindrance in a very high-pressure situation, and with the powers she possesses, she could be so much more beneficial elsewhere.

Oh, geez. ANd here I thought we could talk about the characters. Sorry to be tired of Inoue. She didn't change at all since ch192, and I find this quite pathetic. Rather tired of her let's stay there, being protected, while the others are risking their lives for me. Geez, no wonder she's not the heroine of Bleach.

And yes, I'm ranting, I'm frustrated by her. It's not like I ever had high expectations, but I expected her to change (since she showed so much 'will' for this), but in the end, it's just her being worse and worse. Or maybe it's just Ichigo who has that effect on her, since both GJ and Ulq bring other sides from her.

Anyway, she's bound to stay in HM IMHO. It's been two days, do you really think Aizen will let her go?

What are the chances that the fairies will be able to reach Chad and Rukia without being detected themselves? Orihime may not be harmed, but her fairies may unless Aizen said, please don't harm the girl or her fairies. But that's all assumption on our parts. And would Ichigo be alright with Orihime just going off on her own? Add that to his worries? I'm surprised he hasn't suggested for Orihime to take off and find their friends and heal them. I would think his number one concern is for his friends welfare, but instead he chose to stick around and fight.

And why are people putting Orihime down? It's not as if she doesn't know what her friends are doing for her. She didn't ask them to save her, she went to HM to save them. The fact that it was she who ends up having to already save Ichigo is quite a role reversal. Chad and Rukia will be saved and healed in due time. Kubo wanted to put the focus on Ichigo's fight with Grimm first, then he can send both Ichigo and Orihime off to find their friends. 'Sides, it's wiser to stick together now, same goes for Ishida and Renji. High time Kubo consolidates the team.

Eh...I've seen worse with Rukia in ch 267 and ch 268. Here Orihime just stood there and Ichigo had to ask her to use the shield to protect herself and Nell once he's off fighting. I'm not surprise people started to get annoyed by her behaviour, gotta blame it on Kubo though. He makes her this way.

Wow, that was really well said! I agree totally. She always laments about not being able to protect people, but in the end she doesn't even try. It's like a person wanting to lose weight, but then sits on the couch all day. I think criticism of Orihime is completely justified (as long as there's a legitimate reason).

Opinions, opinions... both girls are bashed equally. She's far greater than Inoue? True Rukia emotionally strong, and she wants nothing more than to protect those close to her... but Orihime feels the same way. The difference is that Rukia has about 150 years of experience and maturity, while Orihime isn't even an adult yet, the poor girl is 15.

She will tend to cry, (what young girl doesn't?) and she may be (completely XD) naive at times. Orihime hasn't even upgraded her powers one yet. That's why she has so much potential. Imagine Orhime using all her fairys at once in an attack.. I'm just throwing out ideas, but yes, there's a reason Aizen said her powers could breach the horizon of gods.

Rukia's is 'way greater' than Orihime? Rukia has a wonderful character on her, her personality, her resolve... everything. But so does Orihime, her character is about over coming obstacles, and growing. I see them both as wonderful characters. They're equal.

The way it sounds from Annie's spoiler, it sounds as though Grimmjow just gained a huge leap over Ichigo in terms of power. And Ichigo is faced with an 11 second limit (at the moment). I see Ichigo in trouble more than I do Grimmjow, even though my bet is still on Ichigo winning. But it still does leave me speculating on what the hell will Kubo bring to the table in regards to Ichigo's "power up."

GJ did attacked Ichigo in this chapter, he had upper hand at this fight from the start. He's much faster and stronger (he's a panther after all -__-) I didn't post the whole fight scene because it's too complicate for me. But let say Ichigo is getting own right now.

Poor Ichigo. He has his strongest attack laughed at twice within an hour. Grimmjow being able to just shrug off the attack makes it obvious that there is a huge power difference between released Grimmjow and Vizard Ichigo. The timer on his mask doesn't really matter right now. Even if he had infinite time with it, it doesn't sound like he would be able to injure Grimmjow.

So, for Ichigo to win this either the mask's power itself has to be increased or he's going to need some other power up. My bet is on him unlocking more of his hollow's power. With that increased power would come a longer timer with the mask, of course.

Either way, I hope this is the last fight between the two (No interruptions, please). I really really don't want to see a fourth fight.

As for Grimmjow's release... well, it's a step up from whatever the hell Aaroniero turned into. ;) I have a feeling we will be seeing the last of Grimmjow soon. I don't really want to see him die but it's better than seeing him have some redemption moment.

I have to say he looks worse than I thought he would. He looks much skinnier in his released form compared to his more humanoid form.
