A ranked member that leads the 3rd Squad of Black Spell, he is a merciless kind of guy that is revealed to have killed many of the Vongola operatives. His specialty is lightning and fights with a pool cue and billiard balls which he charges with electricity. His box contains two electric foxes. He bested both Yamamoto and Hayato in battle, though they were quite inexperienced with the eras fighting style at the time, but was then quickly dispatched by Hibari. Despite sustaining heavy injuries, it has been revealed in a recent chapter to be still alive and seemingly battle ready.

I will start with Gamma's hair. I have never ever seen anyone rip off Aizen's hair so bad in my life and he could at least have bothered to do the little lock of hair thing over his face if he didn't want to dye his hair brown, but I still think his hair is lovely and wonderful and pwnsome, despite it's fail.

Read his heart comes from the power of the sky pacifier. The same thing she did with Phantom and Gamma. So I am saying since she is having this meeting with Byakuran it clearly shows that she can read his heart, and knows what she can trust, and what she cannot. She might have seen something in Byakuran's heart that made her want to merge.

Remember this is just Gamma's P.O.V, and he just bitter about it.

I was wondering about the whole flashback where Uni tells Gamma that she loves him just as much as her mama did, is he happy or sad about it. I don't understand if he is saying that its like he was under a spell or whatever, can someone explain to me what exactly he meant?

Nah I don't think he is under a spell unless it's in the saying sense and not literally. I think he was happy but the memory of her ma probably brings some level of sadness.
