Amano-sensei has just reassured us that Chrome will participate in the Millefiori invasion by showing her breaking in with Kusakabe and the baby-company (and collecting herself some information about the infrastructure new configuration while she was at it - go Chrome! :fu)... so! She will most probably fight someone in the near future - who could it be? And is Kusakabe gonna do something in the meantime apart from babysitting? :lmao

Weird as it may seem, I could see her confronting Shuichi eventually - because she's obviously trying to get to the big white thing to 'save' Mukuro, and Shuichi's the one guarding it... not to mention, it was sort of foreshadowed in her dream, when she tried to touch the... clock... thingie... and she was showed away by him.

So - any thoughts about this? :nuts

Byakuran is the one that 'did something' to Mukuro after defeating him, and yet - from what Mukuro said to Chrome in her dream - we're being lead to think that he's either inside the clock thingie or somewhat imprisoned in a way connected to the clock thingie. Which belongs to Shuichi. :headscratch The same Shuichi that had to ASK Byakuran what happened to Mukuro, thus showing us that he's got no part in Mukuro's fate.

Seriously, what did Byakuran do? :confused: Steal his colleague's toy for a moment so he could seal Mukuro inside, and then take it back so no one would notice? WHY? :mad: Me doesn't understand this one!

In any case, Chrome knows about this while Shuichi apparently doesn't. Could this lead to a talk between them - which could make Shuichi rethink his collaboration with Byakuran? I don't know, I'm still not quite convinced Shuichi is the 'BIG BAD' here... he seems a little too unaware of what Byakuran is doing.

By the way, I LUFF your idea about Byakuran making Chrome fight Mukuro, since he obviously has mind-control powers! :wtf I also cannot help but wonder if Uni will get out of the spell by herself or if she'll need help... because apart from the sleeping/currently-inactive Mukuro, we've got a spells expert right there at the base now! :heehee I'd love it if Chrome got to save her - can you imagine the overload of CUTE in a single chapter?! :nuts At the moment, though, Byakuran is not even present - so we'll have to see if his mind control powers are long-range ones before making predictions. :p

Chrome isn't doing well at the moment (having to fight while maintaining the illusion of your own organs at the same time would take its toll on anyone! :devestated), so I suppose Kusakabe went after her to check she doesn't push herself too hard as well as to babysit the children... which is why I could see him trying to help her in an eventual fight. Problem is, as a side character he's got next to no chances of actually defeating one of the 'big ones', so... maybe she'll be the one protecting him? :love Mah! :p I suppose we'll see where Amano-sensei takes us. ;)

As for Shuichi, I admit I have no idea what kind of powers he might have, given that we've never seen him fight... perhaps he's just very intelligent, but in an actual PROPER, physical fight he'd be very weak? :lmao We still don't know if his importance in the organization is caused by his expertise or by his fighting prowess or by the rights derived from being Byakuran's sex toy :fu, so I'm afraid we'll have to wait and see about this, too, before making any predictions. :p

Mmh... given what we've been shown, it's indeed safe to assume that the white clock (I never know what to call the damn thing, why won't Amano-sensei give it a name already? :mad:) is for time travel, though - didn't Hibari trigger a time travel himself despite having no access to the thing? And weren't most of the Millefiori shocked at the idea of time travel when they witnessed it...? :confused: Though of course Shuichi and Byakuran might be the only ones aware of the whole thing... :headscratch Gaah, I'm confused! :yell

Anyway - I agree with you that Mukuro is not the type to seek help for himself (as was shown quite clearly when he purposefully let himself be captured again so as to let Ken and Chikusa escape) - but let's not forget that Chrome has some - how to call them - 'psychic powers' herself, and during the entirety of the dream she was shown wishing to see and concerned for Mukuro, not for the idea of getting back home. The symbolism of Mukuro's trident pulverizing and the debris turning into the white clock really makes me think Chrome might somewhat have to get to that thing in order to free Mukuro, as well as to return to the past or whatever.

But maybe I'm overanalysing things. :p

P.S. Oh, and Mukuro is most certainly NOT DEAD. :fu Of that I'm quite sure!

well the trident turning into dust wasnt showing he was in the clock thing, but it was mukuro making an illusion with his last power. the trident disapeared as the illusion appeared, showing that mukuro used his power to show chrome it.

but your right, he showed it to chrome and tsuna because thats the only way everyone can be freed from the twisted time.


with hibari triggering it himself, he said it was a schedrule.i think all of this was pre-decided by tsuna and the guardians as a way to get back the vongola rings. so someone in the past, [remember the episode and the manga chapter with the strange feet?] went to the past first [possibily with the help from the bovino family, since somehow iemtsu was able to get TYL lambos horns without the 10 year bazooka, and the head of the family said he gave them to him] they went to the past first and shot first reborn with the bazooka, filling him in and helping him, since he is tsunas mentor, then tsuna shortly after. after tsuna, it was, not surprising, tsunas right hand man gokudera who was transfered to the past next, to make sure that tsuna wasnt alone and was protected. that explains why goku was there at that exact time when tsuna crossed over in the middle of the woods near his coffin, he was anticipating it. and both yamamoto and hibari discarded their boxes directly before they were transported as if giving it to their past selves, no coincidence.

and of course dear subject chrome. her tyl self must have known as well, and went to her and ken and chik and muk hideout to wait for her to get hit, since its a place familiar to her.

not to mention that mukuro pre-tipped off xlo xinia about vongola in that area when chrome didnt even cross over yet.

so its one big pre-planned scheme.

Mmh, the scheme idea seems to fit quite well... though I'm unsure about how they could decide the 'right times' so perfectly and where is my TYB!Ryohei? :( I want my TYB!Ryohei back, wouldn't a TYB!Ryohei kicking around people be quite useful right about now? :cool:... in that case, though, I really think they should have told their past selves about this plan of theirs - they might have been a little less WonderingAboutBeingClueless and more OkayWeHaveAPlanLet'sGetGoing from the beginning, in that case! :D

About the trident... mmh, perhaps I have misinterpreted that one. I had sort of assumed the dream was started by Chrome herself and then 'appropriated' by Mukuro so that he could show her the white clock (which would mean Chrome had some sort of control on what information she wanted to know during the dream), but if it was indeed started and controlled completely by Mukuro then he was probably 'only' showing her and Tsuna the way back to the past. :D

That said, I have a feeling Chrome might have made a mistaken assumption as well, because she seemed mostly concentrated on where Mukuro might be in the dream... could she have thought the white clock would somewhat lead her to him...? Well, unless someone filled her in about its real significance beforehand (Kusakabe? Hibari? Reborn? :confused:), but I can't really see her trying to get back to the past while knowing that something has happened to Mukuro and she could perhaps help him...

as for telling the past guardians about the plan, that was probably reborns idea not to. it gives them a great opportunity to have character and fighting development, and shape them into the future guardians they should be. if they tell them, that kinda ruins the whole plan. developement has already happened to, like yama setting goku straight about what the right hand man really is. ^^
