immediately jumping to the conclusion that if members won't vote between 2 dead people and if they say ' neither' it's immediately a bad thing? i don't think so.

Besides, how can you vote on a person that's dead for atleast 12 years? Alot of members don't even remember/know them because of their age...

Oow and yeah, personal preference; I like Eminem, D12, Teriyaki Boyz etc.

Tupac. I prefer his work more and can actually listen to many of his CDs over and over. Most of his songs are timeless. That said, biggie deserves cred too.

Musically, I'd go with Pre West Coast 2pac, back when he was with Humpty. Biggie never really appealed to me at all.

I don't care for the genre either, but I did like 2pac back in the day, while I was young and restless...*ah the delinquency of those days*

I think I definitely prefer 2pac because, well, although he did have some stereotypical nonsense to rap about, he often had well thought out songs, relevant to political and cultural standards. He sometimes could be even profound when you got past the grit, profanity (not like I have a thing against profanity) and general violence "gangsta rap" had to offer back in the 90s.

I did respect some of his material on some level. In his own genre he really was a bit of revolutionist.

Oh hard choice they're both great rappers. Although I personally like Tupac. Why? Because his lyrics have a bigger impact on people emotionally. When he raps, he raps about the struggles of life. Don't get me wrong I like Biggie also. But he just doesn't quite play the emotional card like Tupac.

@Shadowblack: what the hell are you talking about!? One has the right to say neither, especially when both rappers are dead, kicked the bucket, killed off.

I am one of the biggest rap/hiphop fans there is so don't go say stuff you have no idea off.

Okay. let me give my vote then. I'll vote for Tupac, mainly because his rapstyle appeals to me and Biggie's style doesn't.

I know this is an old topic but it's an age old debate I have to drop my .02 in while Biggie had Hypnotized. Tupac had me with a good number of his songs growing up with my brother who was big into west coast I was pretty much raised on listening to Tupac's Songs and well all of his stuff is virtually my favorite among the two.

Biggie is still the shit to me though as well but Pac has this one.
