Overall good movie but just too much of Cloud in self endowed sadness. The OVA with Zack was really good though.

The CG and the fights are damn awesome, but the overall story was boring. Only thing keeping that movie alive were the amazing fight scenes.

I was so excited about this movie but when I watched it, I was not impressed. I guess my expectations were way too high because I knew Nomura was working on this. I was expecting a lot of flashy moves like Omnislash V5.
But at least this movie is better than Spirits Within.

I hate emo!Cloud; he was much better at the end of the game XD now everyone thinks that Cloud is *only* emo D:
No storyline; WTF was that, when FF7's storyline was so awesome?
The fights were hard to understand and the best one was... Tifa's. Soooo unimpressed with Cloud's fights :(:(:(:(
Overall, this movie was just candy eye, really.

I loved Advent Children. It was alot of Cloud Angst, but it was beautifully animated and plotted out. Im just hoping they make a FF 8 :)

I love that movie <3 sure: the story line isn't so great as the one of the actual original game, but it's a movie of around 90 mins length and the game can be played about 40 hours and longer to get through the whole game and events.

I esp love the character design, the clothes, the soundtrack and the introduction of Kadaj and Loz <3 I also like the setting of the forgotten city of the Cetra with its white trees and the fight. =)

Yea, Cloud was really emo and depressed, but for me it's part of the movie, he needs to overcome his losses and fears, at the end he smiles.

I remember when I first saw this. All I could do was glance at my friend and say the words 'kikoeru ka...'

Because even while I watched it in the safety of my own domicile, I could her the squeals hollers whoops calls and yells of fangirls for the brother who became Sephiroth in the very depths of my soul. I forget his name because...Reno and Rude hijacked the show. But when he became Sephiroth I had a shiver run down my spine. Of fear as the shrieks reached a chescendo aided by the hopefully deeper voices of males who joined in at that moment.

Hexta; The movie was the same thing KH2 was. A weapon of Square Enix to keep their fanbase docile and loyal. Remember all the crap that came out while they were promoting KH2 and Advent Kids? So many bad games. People started joking SE as a failed merger, ironic as the two corps solo were at the top of the food chain. But wisely, SE kept the bait dangling. And people bit. Oh how did they bite. The two things were good, don't get me wrong. But nowhere near the amount of headache I got from hearing snippets and teasers about them repeated by fans.

Sound familiar? FF13VS ringing a bell? Oh well, what's the point of getting annoyed with corporations that experiment while keeping their ace in everyone's minds so they don't get tired of constant fail and leave. It's a good move.
