The Nightmare Before Christmas

It's still the greatest Disney movie ever.
This is Halloween and Kidnap Mr. Sandyclaws are the greatest songs ever.
that devil kid is so twisted.

Ack this is one of my favorite Tim Burton films period. Did you guys watch the 3D version? I know where I live they offer showings around Halloween. This is the 2nd year I've seen it available. Also around the holiday season Disneyland changes the Haunted Mansion to Nightmare Before Christmas.

My favorite song from Nightmare Before Christmas is Jack's Lament.

Too bad the DVD is so hard to fricken locate >.<

everyone's entitled to their own opinion about the movie. If you don't or didn't like it, than that is your opinion. It is not our place to convince you otherwise =D. We have to respect your opinion.

I will tell you why I think its great though!! First off the songs are wonderful and somewhat romantic yay sally and jack for example...

"my dear old friend if you don't mind, i liked to join you by your side. Where we can gaze into the stars, and sit together, now and forever, for it is plain as anyone can see, we're simply meant to be"

Also i love the fact that in the beginning of the movie Jack is at a dead end with his title as the Pumpkin King so he finds solace in Christmas. But in the end he realizes that he wasn't meant for Christmas and regains his passion for Halloween.

I guess i just love all the songs since its filled with alot of emotions

I actually only got so far in the movie. I never finished it. I just didn't really like it. Besides the fact my teacher's VCR was only black and white, I found the animation rather unnerving. The orientation of the..things scared me.

I though do humm Jack's song in the beginning every now and then (kinda like how I hum Slaughter Your World" from Looking for Group.)
