Based on the Germanic poem, "Beowulf" is a beautiful computer-animated film that illustrates the fine line between heroics and corruption. Even though it is computer-animated, you forget it is multiple times. The people look like it's a live action movie. The scenes are beautiful, as the camera for a live-action movie could never have such an angle. The skin of the people look more realistic because they are "dirty" instead of clean animation.
The story details the King Hrothgar as he feasts. Suddenly, the monster Grendel awakes and destroys the great hall of feasting. Desperate, Hrothgar calls for help. Who arrives are Geats, with a great hero known as Beowulf.
