Once Arachnee had escaped from that shinigami, he remained hidden in the floor for almost two days. But now that he was gone, he could easily sneak out and go to Hueco Mundo to recover.
He digged up his way and opened a garganta. The cold air of Hueco Mundo was indeed something refreshing after staying for so long hidden in the floor. Once in the hollow world, it was only a matter of time before his wounds healed.
Arachnee then started thinking... since when did he get that habit of hiding underground? Was it because he was an arachnid in nature? Or was it that he really was not good and fighting, thus was doomed to absorbe the weak energy in the air of this world?
"No..." He thought. "I will get stronger, I will poison and then devour a hundred shinigamis!! Next time we meet, that shinigami is going down, I swear in my hollow pride that shinigami is going down!!"
And then, he saw a small, fish like hollow in the distance. He looked at it, and threw a spider web at it. The human soul he had eaten tasted better, but this little hollow was not that bad.
"It is risky, but I will return to the human world, and devour more souls..."
