Looks like this filler story turns out to be worthwhile. There's new background music thrown in along with the old. The new shinigami character and a couple of what I think are adjuchas meeting are cool. No preview btw, can't wait for next episode. ^^

I was actually surprised by how decent this episode turned out to be. The idea of the forest being under the desert and grows up to make the trees on the sand is a great idea IMO. Looking forward to the sub to find out what new-guy was on about...

Rukia's a brainer when she fights. So her, putting her sword in Bawabawa? Unlikely. Also where did their ability to sense reiatsu went? Did it disappear suddenly? >___>' For the rest, I can't judge, and I need the subs. Problem will be, will I have any desire to dl the sub, that's another matter xD Yeah, I don't like OOC characters. Usually fillers mean OOCness everywhere :p

It's not that she couldnt take down the Menos by herself, it's just that she slipped (in true filler fashion) making her vulnerable.:laugh

I kind of like Nell's voice being a little more mature-sounding. That's probably because that fake little kid voice is usually like nails on a chalkboard to me. Fake little kid voice + lisp = *dead*

It can't get much more cute and high pitched. :nuts It is an actual adult doing the voice, like almost always, so a little maturity is expected and usually a constant in anime.

Not too bad. I hope they keep the pace of the HM arc and make it nothing but action action action action and also action.

The shinigami is called Acid, it's not a name shinigamis normally use (most likely not his real name). He's either left behind, lost, exiled or stuck in Hueco Mondo. I think Rukia's questioning his sanity and thinking, I mean, which person who saves you a short while ago attacks you instead?

Nel's voice is still cute IMO. It suits her better than a Yachiru-style voice would, seeing as Nel is the sort of person who calls herself a masochist and refers to her uvala as a "throat penis" XD

Hmm, this filler arc looks like it's off to an okay start. So I'm guessing that the trees are alive below the desert, and in the anime at least, there is water in Hueco Mundo.

It's kinda weird that Ichigo and Co. took so long to realize that Rukia was missing, but it was nice seeing her fight a bit (even if it's a little off from her usual style, where's the kidou?). And yea, the stabbing Bawabawa bit was kooky, she didn't have to stab the ground when she used Hakuren in episode 140, I wonder why they had her do that now?

I guess that Shinigami dude (Acid?) is trying to gauge her abilities, and not kill her, otherwise he would've released his zanpakuto by now.

I have a feeling that shinigami is Kaien because of his sword. Nejibana looks alot like his sword. Still it can't be right because its a filler episode lol... Anyway this episode look alright. Still waiting for subs to come out :D

Well perhaps there's so much reiatsu in the air it become very difficult, just like Rukia's sences got jammed from beeing near Ichigo in ep 1

I was expecting more from this episode. The animation is okay, but they seemed to have lowered the characters' intellectual ability. Rukia's not that careless to stab her sword on Bawa...

But overall, it's still a pretty interesting filler.

Ah, thanks for the correction. :D I didn't really realize that she had to stab the ground in front of her to make those white ribbon things, I'd always assumed that they were strands of reiatsu or something that materialized before the attack.

I had to frame-by-frame it to see that it was actually her sword coming down, and that the energy or whatever leaked from the punctures.

Now I wonder if the magnitude/power of Hakuren is dependent upon the number of times she stabs the ground?

S^M Raw. On ~13:20, bawabawa says something to Nell. Before Nell start talking to Ichigo - what did she say? It sounded like russian "хорошо" ("ok" in eng.)

Well, we don't know if every single detail was planned by Kubo, I doubt it, since he is a busy man. But the main idea for the arc, including the actual existence of the forest under the desert on top, came with the Volume 29 release of the manga.

hmm...about those other hollows in the forest. i realy hope they're adjuchas, just so we can see some normal non-arrancar adjuchhas.

they may be normal hollows, although normal hollows are generally dumb. perhaps they'rea mix of adjuchas and holow and gillian.

Im likeing the arc, altho i do agree with some that some of the main characters are acting little bit off, none the less im interested in finding out more about whats going on under there, and of course its filled with mystery and another unknown shinigami, the next episode is called
Bleach 148 - "Acid, the Shinigami Who Came from the Past".
brings up alot of questions still .."who came from the past" ....hmmm>_>

I think the acid character is cool, way cooler than the bounto in my opinion. Maybe these fillers will be okay, they are off to a good start anyhow.

That's so good to know that KT had helped them with this arc. Maybe it won't be as ridiculous as the others were. In any case, I liked the beginning, it was interesting, and I didn't get bored which I guess is the whoole point of watching anime.

I dunno I didn't like some of it. All hoolows except arrancar living underground totally messes up continuity of the earlier episodes major. So I just can't appreciate it. Outside of that it's sort of OK. Ugh I guess fillers and I don't go together.

obviously most of them will be underground though.
