Dub: Would be Sailor Moon (German Dub), would be about 1997

Sub: Neon Genesis Evangelion, that was my first Anime, i ever watched original with subs, some friend sent it to me, and so my anime passion began.

My first anime dubbed would be G-Force also known as Battle of the Planets. It was really badly edited and all the big fights were completely missed out and we got a talking robot instead. I still remember thinking it was cool though.

First sub would be Vampire Princess Miyu. I downloaded it back in 1998.

All my video's before that had been English dubbed, pretty much had no choice but to take the English voice-over versions. I'm glad we've got DVD's and downloads now.

I'm not sure what was my very first anime, but I believe it was "The Mysterious Cities of Gold" when I was a child. Even so it wasn't a 100% japanese one... and my first sub was a "The Record of Lodoss War : Chronicles of the Heroic Knight" VHS.

But in full knowledge of what is an anime, my first one was "The Record Of Lodoss War" OVA and in full knowledge of the quality between dub and sub, my first one was "Vision of Escaflowne". ^_^
