Soo...We are in the fourth week of Dragonaut and I must say; It's getting more interesting by the minute. We finally get to see G1o, with clothes on and perhaps by the next episode get to know what their trough intentions are: Jin and G1o's.

I so can't wait for the 5th installment to air:D

To be honest personally I have been disappointed in Dragonaut for a couple of reasons, one is that it has way too many women with enormously huge breasts, I mean some fan servace is okay, but I feel as this show has taken it one step too far. Two, the dragon's cgi is not that great, especially along with the entrance scenes for the said dragons, I mean parts of it look like the power rangers or something.

Lastly I think the major reason why I have been disappointed is that this is one of the only action shows on right now, you have Gundam and this, and that's it as for new shows. I think if there was one or two other shows that were similar I wouldn't be so dissapointed. Dragonaut is not a bad show, but it just can't compare to the recent action shows such as Darker than Black, Claymore, or Gurren Lagann. Right now there are way too many harem and shojo shows on, and not enough good action shows, although I think Ghoust Hound will end up being a keeper.

I must definitely on these counts guys! The boobs are soo overkill and if there's one thing I CANNOT stand it's 2-D and 3-D combined..it's looks so fugly..so fugly.

Spartan27 is right...new anime dn't really compare to stuff like gurren lagann (too great to be topped!), darker than black (it ended up being amazing)...i havn't seen claymore, but death note was cool too...

im still gonna watch this...i dnt have anything better to do lol i just watch al new anime...if i realy really dntlike them i drop them...i may stick with this one though...

and i noticed alot of anime are shojo now...i watch too much shojo...shakugan no shana lol

anyway i'll stck with this regardless....it may get better though...

You know its not that I can't stand shojo, its just not my cup of tea, and its annoying when the production companies are shoving it down my throat, I feel as if they are saying, "you will watch Clannad and Blue Drop, and you will like it." I am not saying don't have any shojo or harem, but please give a little bit of choice.

I think Dragonaut could be become good, I think the Toa-Jin dynamic has a little Renton-Eureka type relationship feel to it, not exactly like it due to obvious differences, but it does have that destiny type feel. The opening is very good as well, but I think Ghoust Hound's is a little better.

I would recommend Claymore to you tari, but don't read the Manga first because its better and the anime diverges at the end, some don't like the ending, but I think if you watch the anime exclusively then it should be a joy to watch, especially episode 8, which I thought was the best single episode last season due to the ending.

I've seen 3 episodes of Dragonaut. It seems decent so far, but its really vague and doesn't explain anything very clearly. I think it has potential though.

It's like going to Texas Colleges, Sweden or Norway and saying there are too many gorgeous babes.

Claymore is great, and since it doesn't completely follow the manga I wonder if the anime guys will continue or wait several years for the manga, since the manga was coming out once a month or less.

Well this last episode has me all breasted out, I mean large breasts can be a nice little fanservice moment, but when this happens I just refuse to take this show seriously. They look like huge globs of jello.

Okay just watched the sixth installment and it was pretty interesting in my opinion! Ofcourse I had no idea what they were saying and what it was about but the ending was perfectly clear to me!

I'm annoyed at how every girl has a ridiculously large chest. I mean the Dragonaut woman with the light coloured hair, she seriously looked way oversize. Even Shinsen-Subs said after the cut to ads, "Now back to Boob-o-nauts". The creator must be incredibly horny or knows that its what people want.

i dropped it at ep 3 aswell. i was watchin 4 the turned it off not even half way.

but i watcjhed4/5 it it seemed better, not 10x better. but it was better. its gettin interseting. plus they revealed like the main part of the plot so...just keep watchin i guess.

although there are even more boob scenes which u may not like i guess...

I'd agree with that, most anime take the whole season or more to get the pair together officially but this one, hmm, straight out of the blocks. I suppose they're just starstruck haha XD. Such a Romeo and Juliet scenario, a little different being of different species and working for some evil force from another galaxy but you know, same thing ^^:p

Try 'Media Player Classic' (MPC), that's not the one from microsoft, but instead freeware, plays almost everything, imo one of the best Players out there.

I finally caught up to the latest episode. Gave up during episode 6, but decided to watch it again cause I was bored.

Two problems I have with this anime:

1. Almost every episode revolves around someone being captured and needed rescuing. I mean, I cant think of a single episode so far where a character, wether a guy or a girl, isnt trapped somewhere and cant get out. That damsel in distress sypnosis gets boring after three episodes.

2. CG dragons are fugly.

When he freaked on Mars, he had some weird flashes of Earth, maybe he has a resonance with the Planet, lulz.

Just saw ep 22. Why is Machina being brought back to life? I hate it when writers TRY to make things interesting by pulling things like these but they pathetically fail.

Same goes with Kazuki. They try to make the plot interesting but they always choose the wrong times for him to appear that he just ends up being 1)useless to the story, 2)drags out the plot, and 3)looks so pathetic in the process.

The episode was worse than 22 though, and it's all because of Kazuki. My 5 year old nephew can write a better plot than that.

Im just watching cause I already watched 20+ episodes, so whats a couple more. But the more I think about it, it'll probably end up with a "lets all hold hands together and sing a song" type of ending.

This anime had lot of potential and as I kept watching I was hoping it would get better but instead it just went downhill.

Jin pissed me off with his constant indecision then "I KNOW!" - like, whatever. But Kazuki needed to die, and stay dead. He's been nothing but a mental a**hole, and now suddenly we're supposed to like him?

The show wasn't meant to be serious, so I'm okay with the stupid plot. I like Gio and I liked the OT3 - but happy ending? Haha, plz, is there such a thing in anime?

Exactly. To me, it feels like the writers had no idea what to do with Kazuki. He's suppose to be a villain, and the audience is suppose to hate him. Thing is we hate him for the wrong reasons, not because he's a villain but because he's a useless character. Then they make him look even more pathetic in the latest episode and we're suppose to accept him as a good guy after less than 5 mins where he was reduced to tears. "Jin, I wanted to kill you but I love youuuu! Let's be buddies again!"

Right.

About the rest of the plot, it isnt any better.

Have any of you guys watched it yet? Can't believe the series is nearly over already!
I thought it was kinda lame how Jin and Toa, separated by some kind of inpenetrable wall are able to break it with their "power of love". I think the finale is going to be all flashy fights and then Thanatos decides to leave everyone alone and turns Toa into a human or she dies and they'll be glad to spend their last moments alone.

Apparently Thanatos thought we were fighting "too hard" - like all 3 remaining Dragonaut members and crazy-ass Kazuki + giant cannon...right. :rotflmao

Gio got to break-dance - but because the anime team disliked cool characters, they made him ship off because zomg Jin + Toa didn't swing that way @_@ I've honestly never seen such a bad Evangelion rip-off, and I've seen lots.

Mother was definitely the lamest last boss EVER. I still have no idea where Jin and Toa got that shiny sword from, with the ribbons and all, it reminded me of the ending of CCS *cough*

I only watched this because I was so far into it. I started it and it looked promising then yeah TT the cheese was everywhere. Like their initialise thingy and the power of love with the pink starry background.

That's the material that other anime make fun of!
