Best Animated Episode in Bleach

I have to go for Ikkaku Vs Ichi that the best animated scene in Bleach IMO. The madness that’s Ikkaku ( Ep 27 11.20 onwards) is revealed the sheer intensity of that fight was on a different scale you have to remember this fight did take place before any major fights , this fight made Renji Vs Ichi 2 look bad though Renji Vs Ichi was of more importance in the storyline.

Its one of the few instances where black and white frames have been combined with animated pictures in Bleach. Ep 27 12.46 onwards

Puh, there were some eps, who were of good animationquality, but to pick my favourite...hmm.

Then i would go for the final ep of the Ishida vs Mayuri Fightm, don't know the epnumber, but the whole fight was just well done.

Episode 121? Ichigo vs Grimmjow the final moments...check out my sig to show what I mean...that episode was AMAZING! the movements..everything was beautiful and looked soo human...gah..I need to check that episode again>.<

Aside from the lack of blood, it would have to be Ikkaku vs. Edorad. That's what I call top notch quality animation, so smooth, so sharp, so fluid... pure pwnage.

Ep 54 is my favourite. Not only for IchiRuki moments but for dramatic, comedy and action scenes too! 54 has everything in it really.

Second is 118. I like the fight between Ikkaku and that arrancar (I don't remember his name now;I only now his release, Volcnica.). Ikkaku's bankai, his fighting style, his powers, everything make me go all "whoa" everytime I watch this episode. The only bad thing is, Rukia getting hurt badly of course!

I like the Ichi vs. Grimmjow at Kara town... especially when Grimmjow prepares himself on top and then comes flying down. That episode rocks my socks.

I can't remember the number, but I think the best animated episode was the one where Ikkaku fought Edorad. Well, the animators knew Ikkaku would be showing off his Bankai, so they had to make it look good.

Well, to me they would be: 16, 18, 52-53, 58, 59, 60, 116, 118 and 121. :)

In 118, the fight between Edorad and Ikkaku was animated excellently. The atmosphere in it was great.

So was 121, in which the animation was excellent and secondly, it was one of the fights that I was anticipating to see animated. Grimmjow owned in that one. ^_^

I think the Pre SS and the SS arcs have pretty good animation in it.. its just too sad that the quality of the animation seems to have deteriorated since then.. (..and don't make me start with the bount arc!)

The best animated episode? 166, hands down. Even 118 and 121, as amazing as those looked, couldn't match it in terms of detail or fluidity.

How come nobody mentioned 141?The whole episode was just very very well animated and as much as I dislike IchiHime,Orihime and Ichigo both looked very well and exactly like in the manga-something the anime team doesn't usually do very well.54 was wonderful too..
160 was also pretty,Rukia was as well and I admire the anime team for that episode

166 easily had the most *fluid* animation of any Bleach episode. God, everything flowed so beautifully you'd think they switched animation studios for just one episode. The art itself was also really well done, save for the Halibel scene.

i honestly have to say that the very first fight between ichigo and grimmjow. it's the best i've ever seen in bleach, even better than the animation in the movies IMHO. the second best was the third (and hopefully the final fight between grimmjow and ichigo). well the first part neway and that would have to b 166.

It's been awhile since I've watched an episode pre-Arrancar arc, so I can't comment on those.

The first fight with Grimmjow (don't know the episode number) was really well done. Then episode 141 and especially 166--it's a shame Perriot can't be consistent with how well they do episodes.

Episode 141 was gorgeous. I liked the animation, the pacing, the music and the VA for Orihime did a great job.

I watched Episode 166 again because several people mentioned it, and I really liked it as well.

For me, the best animated episodes in Bleach are the following:

Abarai Renji vs. Kuchiki Byakuya - This match was entertaining and certainly worth the anticipation.

Kurosaki Ichigo vs. Kuchiki Byakuya - Every scene for the contest kept me in suspense. I remained on the edge of my seat.

Yamamoto vs. Ukitake Jyuushirou and Kyouraku Shunsui - The combination of everyone releasing their shikai, easily made the fight one of my favorites.

166 was something i watched and drool over the quality animation they put in for the fight..:wtf Amazing.

That said, i think Ichigo vs Byakuya was really greatly animated, i especially loved Shirosaki's appearance, and most of the fights are greatly animated - i cant choose any. 166 is only the recent fave :D

The Ikkaku v Edorad was superb.
I liked the Kenpachi vs. Ichinose fight.....Ichinose's power makes for an interesting look to the fight and Zaraki being who Zaraki is just makes it all worth it.

For me I would have to say the fight in the Soul Society between Ichigo and Zaraki Kenpachi, that was one of the bloodiest most entertaining battles I've ever seen in all my years of watching anime.

Episode 140 for sure! Shinji beats the crap out of Grimmjow! The fight is amazing, things are revealed, and the music is fantastic! All around, great fight/episode.

As for animation + Action and soundtrack. 54<--Ichigo was hot in that episode and totally bad assed Rukia was pretty.
58-59
The first half of 63, the fights were shorter yet the animation was incredible.
118 -Ikkaku's Bankai was something to behold.
122-Hiyori breaks out mask<--love that music.
123- Epic. Hyori and Ichigo crack me up. I didn't like Ichigo hollow animation so take points off after she his him with the "Special Hiyori Walker" SUPER!
139--Luppi. I loved him! He was so cute! I watch him a lot
140 - Shinji straight stole the show. He was a bad ass.
165 the first half of Ichigo vs Grimmjow. love the music!!!
166 the animation wasn't quite as good and I just don't care for that episode!!!:yell

Ichigo vs Renji Episodes- 30- 32

And of course Ichigo vs Zaraki. <--Beat was hot. and the fight scenes one of the best in bleach to date. 38 & 39
113 and 114<--have personal fondness for that episode :rotflmao

That's quite a list...but it's too many good episodes to pick just one.
