Okay, since this thread actually got attention when I wasn't looking, I'm posting all of my art here. along with all of my works in progress. Can a mod please change the thread title? ;^^
Works in Progress:
Rukia - Bankai Stance (could someone pleease help me with skin? I really suck at coloring it.)

Would really like advice.
Original Text:
Yay! I have finished my coloring on my artpiece. It is of Kaien holding Nejibana. But it actually isn't a manga coloring. When the first raw image came out, I immediately drew it up on a whim because if it was fake I would never see it again. So I started coloring it a month ago, and finished!
It is at: http://himeji.deviantart.com/art/Rankle-the-Heavens-Nejibana-67813054
Please review! Thank you!

I used the gimp actually. I generally used the airbrush tool throughout coloring, except for on the hair which was on the lineart shaded.
My computer hates my art though. on each of my most recent colorings it either bluescreened or shut down.

My best colored drawing ever. It is of Orihime.

A very gentle and soft image^^
well done for your art, the smudge warp sort of effect u use on the background is impresive and somthing i myself cannot yet do.
i hope that ur gonna draw some more. and dont get put of by any little mistake you may think you notice.
keep at it and i hope you can acheive the level in drawing that you desire^^
and a brilliant effort.

Neat! I really like that you didn't make her outfit pure white-- the soft colors in it add a lot to the image. : )

Neat stuff! I really like your shading on Rukia's hair and uniform. I think her neck might be a little bit too wide, though-- maybe try and look at a few reference pics to get down the proportions of her face? Overall, it's looking very cool. Keep posting WiPs! :)

Aw crap! I always forget, but wide necks are my biggest screwup on all of my recent art (brother told me.) I'll try to check reference pictures. It's just before I colored it had the optical illusion of being in proportion. ;^^

It's actually a pretty normal-sized neck for a real person-- it's just that since her face is in that particular triangle-y anime-y style, it might make sense to thin up the neck since that's what tends to happen in that style.
That happens to me a lot, too. :)

Rukia's face looks a little mannish imo.. try to fix her chin a little bit. The coloring is good though.

Thank you for your suggestions! I appreciate all of the input!
Here's the most recent rendition of the art. The ribbon is obviously there for not really any reason.
