Please help a newbie

Uryuu doesn't live with his father does he? I heard he moved out after a fight but I don't know if it is official or not.

Thank you

He and his father aren't close, but I don't think it was ever said that he doesn't live with his father, maybe it was though

Yes, he doesn't live with his father.

It was stated in one of Kon's interviews, Kon asked Ishida whether he lives alone or something along with that lines i suspect and Ishida answered that he lives alone.

Besides, his reaction upon seeing Ryuuken is like he's the last person he expected to come and save him from that Menos arrancar.

I got this information from Debbie. I consider it trustworthy.;)

As a child, Uryu mostly interacted and trained with his grandfather, Soken Ishida. His father, Ryuken Ishida, was less than enthusiastic about being a Quincy, claiming that it wasn't a profitable occupation.

Whether Ishida lives with his father however,is still unclear.
Many parts of the anime have shown Uryu resting in a number of places but none of them in a scene with his father and him in a house.

Uryuu's residence is unclear in the anime, but at the end of volume 12, during a Radio Kon interview, Ishida says he lives alone and when Kon asks him why, he says it's none of Kon's business and then Kon remarks "So, basically, you're just a housewife?" :) (Referring to the fact that Ishida cooks his own meals, chicken stewed with taro and mackerel miso, and sews his own clothes).

A quick google search didn't turn up the Radio Kon interviews but they're all hilarious--my favorite is the one with Tatsuki. The following link refers to the Radio Kon interview with Ishida in volume 12:

I figure that when we get Ryuuken backstory in the manga, we'll get more about the circumstances under which Uryuu moved out. Kubo seems intent on revealing the Daddies Ishida and Kurosaki backstory bit by little bit.

@Hemagoku: it says it REFERS to the Kon interview with Ishida, not that it actually gives you the interview>.> oow and how about alittle more than one-liners.
